Frye Veronica Slouch - Finally a boot that fits my wide calves, wide foot and looks good. I had to try 3 different sizes to find the right fit but, I'm glad I kept trying. These boots are expensive but well worth the price. I think they will last a long time and are not so trendy that they'll be out of style any time soon. They look great with jeans and skirts. Have not tried them with miniskirts yet because the weather is too cold right now but I think they'll look cute come springtime. As the other reviewers said they are a little difficult to get on but they get easier the more you wear them, and once on your feet they feel great. I had to order a 1/2 size larger and I can wear them with both thin and thick socks. Also, Zappos service as always was excellent! If you’re contemplating buying these, don't hesitate. They are worth every cent!

Be patient when putting this boot on!! Ordered true size and it took some doing to get boot on over my high instep. After just a few tries, boot went on much easier and broke in quickly. Easy to dress up or down. I love this boot!!

Frye On! Just received the grey pair today! Though I have to exchange 'em for a unblemished pair, I love these boots. The pair I received today had a popped seam on the top shaft of the boot and a raised (flush) leather blemish on the shaft. For the price, I want my boots perfect. I do own the dark brown pair which arrived blemish-free. The boots fit true to size. I had no problem getting them on. The color is more of a distressed brown with a grey rinse. BEAUTIFUL! Get these boots!

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful boots! Words can't express how much I love these boots! When I first got them I wore them for three days straight, at the end of that my pinky toes were a bit sore, but other than that, they were perfect. For me, easy on, easy off. I usually wear an 8-8.5, but I know my size in Frye boots is an 8 and they didn't disappoint me at all.

Love My Frye's - To be honest, I was more than a little fearful of making such an expensive online purchase, but after light-speed delivery (wow!!) nothing could go wrong. First time "on" offered what I now know is a learning curve, but after opening the ankle buckle, things went smoothly. I love my new boots, and look forward to many years of wearing bliss.

Frye's Veronica Slouch Review - I love these boots. They look great on. I get lots of compliments about them. These boots are easy to break in. The only spot that slightly bothered my foot was the back of my heel. I highly recommend these boots.

Compliments galore!! I bought these boots in Slate Grey and I LOVE them. Frye Boots mentioned that they run small and that customers should buy them a 1/2 size larger but I chose to take a chance with my actual shoe size at 8.5. I had to put on a pair of socks to get my foot past the bend but once in they fit perfectly! Now that I have worn them many times I can get my feet in with no problem. I love wearing these with knee socks and a skirts and they look great over jeans. Frye Boots are AMAZING.

I love these boots. Read all the reviews prior to ordering. Took the advice to get 1/2 size larger and they are perfect. Very soft and comfortable. Great looking, too!

Wonderful boot!! These boots are so great!! I wear them with everything from dresses to skinny jeans. They are a little expensive but well worth it!!

Best Fryes Ever! I have quite a few pair of Fryes and these are my faves. I bought them in grey; the color is beautiful and unusual. I have always favored the campus boots, but I have to say the rubber foot sole and lower heel make these more comfortable. The shaft is unlined, so therefore is suede. They're not stiff, but also have a leather support piece stitched up the back, so I don't think they'll ever really slouch and wilt. Size-wise I always wear a 9.5 in Frye boots and they fit perfectly, but I never wear boots without socks. I wear a 9 in Frye clogs - socks OR bare feet. The reviews say these run a little small, but I ordered a 9.5 as usual and they fit perfectly. I have wide feet. You will NOT regret buying these boots. I was sad Zappos didn't have my size in the color I wanted, but of course I will be back because Zappos is the best!

Stop agonizing and BUY THEM! Money well spent on this item! I am on my feet 8 hours a day at work and these boots never give me a moment’s regret about choosing to put them on. I live in the Lake Ontario snowbelt region and these are rugged and well-made enough to not worry about what I'll have to wade through in the course of the day after walking out the door in the morning. These boots can take it with a minimum of care. They are trendy/cute worn with black tights and casual dresses or skirts, tights, and walking shorts, leggings, and tunics... I have NO complaints about how they go on or how they fit or feel. Worth every cent. Plus Zappos - I ordered these on THANKSGIVING MORNING, they arrived less than 24 hours later. Don't you guys take holidays?!

Boots - Same as so many of the others - first day - impossible to put on and then they moved in the heels after I finally got them on. I was so bummed and was certain I would be returning them. Persevere. All good boots need to break in. It has been less than 1 month and I adore them. Truly. I expect many happy years from these boots.

Beautiful Boot - Beautiful, casual boot. Looks great on. Very well made. I am usually an 8 or 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 and they fit well - snug and stiff, but once they're broken in, they'll be perfect. Great with jeans, great with a skirt. Glad I bought them.

Very well made - I always heard of the great quality of Frye boots, but it’s not until you own a pair that you can see why everyone raves about them. These Veronica Slouch boots are trendy, comfortable and very durable boots! I got the sand color and I’m so happy that I use them every weekend, if I could, I'd wear them every day!

Lovely boot, great fit - I bought them half a size bigger than I normally wear and they fit just right. No break-in period, they're a very comfortable boot.

Love these boots! I kept going back and forth trying to decide on this boot because of the price. Yes, it’s more expensive then the shoes that I usually buy, but the quality makes up for it. As soon as they got to my house, I knew I would be keeping them. The leather is beautiful and the construction of the boot looks like it will last forever. They are perfect for wearing with skirts, leggings, or jeans. I am able to tuck my jeans into the boot, but I do have skinny calves so someone with wider legs might have problems. The only issue that I have with them is that it feels a little loose in the heel, but nowhere else on my foot when I wear thinner socks. Overall I am very happy with them.

Classic Frye - I just received my boots today! Zappos is FAST! I initially followed the manufacturer's recommendation and ordered a half size larger (9.5). I should've followed the reviews. I ordered the 9 and they're perfect. Unlike other reviewers, I did not have any trouble getting them on especially considering my ample calves and semi-wide feet. I also ordered the Veronica Shortie in cognac just for kicks. This is also true to size. Though I do enjoy the color, I'll be returning the Shortie. Definitely get this boot!

This classic boot looks great over skinny jeans and with a dress and tights. It's hard to find such a versatile and stylish boot in today's market.

Great Boots - These are great boots. I wore Frye boots when I was younger and love these. They are more feminine and I can wear them with jeans or a casual skirt, perfect for fall. Some people found them hard to get on - I just unbuckle the bottom buckle and have no problem. Great color, too!

Love them! They look great! They feel great and everybody else loves them as well. My foot size is a 5 – 5 ½ and the size 6 is perfect: just roomy enough to wear all day at a "stand-up-all-day" retail job, yet snug enough that my foot does not flop around on the inside. Exactly what I had been looking for, for the following season. Thanks Zappos for always having what I need:-)

Frye Veronica Slouch boots - I love these boots!!!! I looked everywhere for them; the maker was even out of them, and their price was the same as Zappos, but would cost more w/ tax and shipping, so I lucked up when finding them here and got free overnight shipping and no tax...amazingly, they arrived by noon the next day...they fit perfectly & true to shoe size, and make my legs look so sexy, (even for a 51 yr. old)...thanks Zappos, looking forward to more shopping w/ you...

Beautiful, comfy boots - I am so excited to wear these boots all winter long. They are both beautiful and so comfy. I ordered a half size up and I'm glad I did so that I can wear thicker socks when it's really cold. The boots fit great. I have walked 1 1/2 miles in them without a problem. The "gray" color is really more of a gray-washed brown and I like it because it goes with almost everything. Even though I'm still reeling from the price, I think it was worth it. No, I'm sure it was.
