Love these boots! Absolutely amazing boots, fit great right out of the box. I ordered a half size up and it was just perfect. Love the look. Could be dressed up or down. Really comfortable. I’ve worn them hiking a few times and never got one blister.

A comparative review - I have been wearing the Frye Harness boot for about 5 years, so a comparison is inevitable; as others have, I got the Slouch a half size larger than my Harness boots and I am glad for that. They fit well and I have a slight bit of room if I want to double up on socks or put in a foot pad. These boots are very good looking off and on the feet. I had hoped the 'dark brown' would be a darker brown, but they are sufficient and a bit of oil will help to darken them. My only real concern with the Slouch is they seem to be made with a thinner piece of leather. My Harness boots are very thick and dense in regards to the leather, foot and shaft. I'm thinking it's a bit thinner on the Slouch so that they actually 'slouch' some. I just hope that for the price they last for 5+ years as my Harness boots have. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase!

More than I expected - So, like you I read all the reviews before making this BIG purchase. It was worth it! I did order a 1/2 size up and they fit great. No break in period at all and I have gotten numerous compliments. They were everything I expected and more.

Great boots - These boots met all expectations. Very comfortable for long term walking, look cool and you can dress them up or down.

Fantastic, fabulous boots - I looooove these boots. I ordered them twice and canceled b/c I was shy on the price. Finally i pulled the trigger and bought 'em. They’re just so cool looking. Lots of compliments. Great w/ skinny jeans.

Adorable - I agonized over these. They are expensive for my budget but I really loved the patent and so I broke down and gave them a try. I wear a 9.5 and I needed to exchange for a 10 in the black patent. I have tried on other Frye boots made of the regular leather and the 9.5 fit fine so maybe the patent runs small. I wore them with a skirt and tights and then tucked into jeans. They are cool, hip, and classic all at the same time. I am a mom and I think these boots will energize my winter mom clothes...jeans and sweaters. Go for it. You deserve them!

Beautiful - My boots just came. Zappos upgraded my shipping and I got them overnight. Yea, Zappos! They are really beautiful leather and truly live up to the spectacular reviews. A little difficult to get on at first but I find that to be the case with most pull on boots. I see myself wearing these everywhere and with everything. They are my Christmas present but my husband may have to wrap my feet because I don't want to put them back in the box!

Beautiful Boot. Money well spent - These boots are beautiful. They are incredibly well made. They look like quality expensive boots. I got them in dark brown and the color is gorgeous. I am a size 7 in regular shoes but always get my boots a bit large so I can wear them with socks. I bought these in a 7 1/2 and they are perfect. These boots are classic, classy and well worth the money. Treat yourself!

Strange sizing - While many reviews suggest ordering these a half-size up, I have tried on Frye's other styles before, and find them HUGE. I usually wear a 9, and ordered an 8.5, and still find them too big. I have a fairly flat and narrow foot--and had no trouble getting the boot on, as others have mentioned. The toe area fits well, but the heel slips A LOT--I already have big blisters, and am hoping the boots will break in over time. If you have narrow, flat feet, you may want to order a size DOWN. That being said, I love the quality and look of the boot. The calf circumference is quite wide, so be prepared for lots of extra room with your skinny jeans/skirts.

These boots rock! These are pricey, but worth it. Some people have asked me if they are plastic, because there is definitely a "shine" to the material, but you can just tell them that it is leather and Frye boots thank you very much. As always, Zappos delivery exceeds expectations.

Love at first sight - I bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. When she first tried them on she had to unbuckle the strap to get them on. Once on they fit great.

Great Boot - This was my first big purchase on a pair of shoes; it was definitely worth it. They do need a period of breaking in, but they will provide comfort soon. I had to adjust the foot strap for a tighter fit. Can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear them more!

This boot rocks - Although I had to swallow hard to invest in these boots, I'm REALLY happy. They feel great, they look great and they're a little bit classy, a little bit rock and roll.

Fabulous Boot - I love this boot! But... I bought them a size larger then I normally wear so be careful. They run small. They are extremely comfortable, beautiful looking and made well in the Frye tradition.

Great shoe! Very cute! Don't have great arch support but the sole is comfortable anyway. Did find that it ran a half size too small but a half size up is perfect!

Love it but read reviews - The leather on the eights had a totally different finish then the two nines I tried, weird. I usually wear a seven or eight and the eight fit well in the foot, a little loose in the heel and toe but I want to wear nice warm socks so that is good. I usually can't find high boots that fit over my muscular calves, 16 inch circ! I did have to have these stretched a little for comfort but I could get them on and now they are perfect. Still can't tuck my jeans in but I really love this boot. Pricey but really well made.
