First of all Zappos is hands down the best company to do business with. You should do seminars to teach others how to treat their customers. The boots arrived before I knew it so I was up and running in no time! Love these boots. I\'ve gotten so many compliments every time I\'ve worn them. They fit true to size for me. A little snug across the ball of my foot but now that they\'re broken in they feel great. Thanks Zappos!

I love these boots. I did debate on buying them because of the price, but I have already worn them so much that they have paid off. Was slightly disappointed that they are not as tall as I thought. I thought they would hit higher up on the calf. But they still look great with jeans or with a skirt or dress. The first time I wore them was to a concert where I stood for 4 hours and my feet were never in pain. Very comfortable, true to size and I love the color (cranberry).

Want a perfect, classy boot that if properly taken care of will last a lifetime? Well, this is it! Sure the boots are pricey, but worth every single penny! I have a wide foot and wasn't sure the boots would fit me when ordered. After 2 wearings with bulky socks, I'm pleased to advise the boots fit me like a glove. Even though the boots are called "slouch", they don't slouch much. The leather is soft and absolutely beautiful. The style is perfect and the low heel is very comfortable. I love the boot so much I have it in black and this beautiful saddle color. I'm now set. Instead of purchasing a number of cheaper boots that will wear badly over the next 2 decades, I've invested in timeless boots that will last and last. If you have narrow feet, don't size up! These boots will work for you in your normal size, and probably even a half size down. I measure a 10.5 narrow, but these fit me well in a 10 medium. Those of you with medium to wide feet will likely need to size up a bit since these fit my narrow feet well. I love that you can cinch the strap across the foot and at the calves; these are loose in the leg, but not too sloppy. They're comfy, flattering and look great with skirts and tights. Only very minor break-in required (for the leather ones, anyway; don't know about the patent boots).

I normally wear a size 5 and wouldn\'t have gotten these as the smallest size is 5.5 but after reading the reviews to get a larger size I ordered them in 5.5 and they fit great. They are very comfortable and I have had no problems getting them on or off. I usually wear them with skinny jeans and I always get comments on how nice they look.

I bought Frye\'s Veronica Slouch in cranberry red. They look fabulous and wear beautifully. Every time I\'m wearing them, I receive many compliments. I have "dressed" the boots "up" by wearing them with fancier skirts, but also worn them with jeans and pants. Either way, they look great.

I love these boots! I received them this week in Saddle and they rock! I ordered them a half size up as recommended and the fit is perfect. Of course, I had to try them on with everything; they look great with my skinny jeans and skirts. Now I want them in another color!

How much do I love these boots? I bought these boots from Zappos in 2007. I love these boots so much that I felt compelled to look them up again, two years later, to make sure everyone considering investing in these boots knows that not only are they not expensive in the end, they are actually a bargain. You will have these and love them forever. They are comfortable and they look amazing. You will notice people staring at your feet. Going casual? Scuff them up. Dressing back up? Oil with a little mink oil. Skinny jeans tucked in, wideleg jeans worn over, long skirts, short skirts, work, play, casual, formal; I've worn them on walks through the woods and to weddings. You're going to pay a couple hundred bucks for a decent pair of boots; make them Frye's that will last forever.

I got the Veronica Slouch in Sapphire thinking that the color would be a beautiful rub-off like in the photograph, but it was a solid blue. Tragic, as everything else about it was great. The leather is very soft and pliable and has a beautiful pebble texture. Great boot for those with larger calves as I have. Sizing runs true.

Great boots - very comfortable. The "slouch" is softer than it looks. I had the width stretched by a professional, & for a few dollars more, they\'re even more comfortable.

I can't stop wearing these! Even though it's not that warm yet, I love to wear these. I can fit my skinny jeans in them, and I have really large muscular calves. If you have a similar problem I suggest you invest in these!

Grey is the new Black this fall! Could not resist when I saw the double buckle details and realized these babies could be tightened to fit my slim calf and ankles. Better yet, they come softened and ready to wear, like they were mine from the start. No break in time required! Everyone who sees me in my Veronicas thinks I am cool again! Thanks Zappos!

I will start out with Zappos is awesome great customer service, ordered my boots on Sat night and received them Monday. Boots are amazing, very nice boot. They go with everything and I am a true 8 and ordered a 8.5 and fit great so they do run small. I have had them on everyday since I received them. However, the sole does only come up half way so it started to peel back from the insole not sure if I am using the correct terminology, but it felt like you had something in your shoe. A boot this much should not do this already. Zappos is sending me a new pair and I will let you know if the new ones do the same. I hope not because these boots are great with leggings, skinny jeans and casual dresses. These are my 3rd pair of Frye boots they are just great!!!

Zappos keeps getting better and better. My friend had purchased these boots a year or so ago and I really loved them. I picked Slateand they are gorgeous! A true slate grey with black on the toe and soft, soft leather. I love my first pair of Frye boots!!!\r\n\r\nNow just a quick word about Zappos\' Customer Service staff. I used the wrong credit card to order my boots and not only did two fabulous ladies from CS take care of my order, they even upgraded the order to overnight shipping. If that\'s not taking care of your customers I don\'t know what is. Thank you, thank you Maria and Crystal for all your help!!! I sincerely hope their is a raise in your future!\r\n\r\n

These shoes are really high quality. I can tell that they will last for a very long time. They take a few days to break in, but they get much more comfortable over time. No blisters, just a bit stiff. Great quality shoe. Goes with anything. I get great compliments.

I purchased these boots in the black patent last year, and without a shadow of a doubt, they are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I usually have some difficulty breaking in new shoes, but these seem to have been made for my foot. Only disagreement I would have with other reviewers is that I went up one whole size for mine, which may be due to the fact that I like to put squiggy insoles in my boots making them that much more comfortable. Over all, a 10 out of 10, and now saving for the same ones in dark brown!

The first time I saw these boots I knew I had to have them. They are beautiful!

So I have a pair of Frye Kelsies; they are gorgeous and my first pair from this brand. I have been searching forever for a great pair of fall/winter boots and I picked out this style (Frye Veronica Slouch color Saddle) and another (Frye Carmen Tall color brown) and tried them on at home, which turned in to a huge debate! I love them both and found the Veronica was a great look, lower on the calf and full of sleek city style. The buckles are beautiful and though the boot was great with stockings/skirts, its look with jeans was a bit different. Tucking my pants in made it all bulky and uncomfortable. I have a wide foot and muscular calves and both styles were a great fit. Ultimately Veronica ended up losing the debate to Carmen so I had to send her back, and it was only because the Carmens were much more versatile. I wish that I could have afforded to keep both, so maybe I'll get Veronica next season! Frye is so durable and beautiful I know I don't have to worry, I can keep adding them to my wardrobe.

First order of business: Zappos is uh-mazing! I paid for standard 4-5 business day shipping and I got my boots in 2 days; love that! On to the boots: They are stunning! I mostly wear an 8.5 (rarely a 9) and bought these in the 8.5. For me, they fit true to size. Other reviews said how hard they were to get on. Here's what you do: 1st, unbuckle the bottom strap; 2nd, put on a slippery/thin sock; 3rd, stand and pull up from the back of the boot and voila! I honestly had no problems getting them on (with an average foot arch and even a little bit wide of a foot). One (minor) complaint: for some bizarre reason, the footbed/padding is not one complete piece. Under where the ball of my foot (right under the toe line) it splits horizontally, so that when I take my foot out it kind of peels back some and rolls. I can't feel it when the boot is on; nothing a little super glue can't fix, but still a bit of a bummer for this crazy price tag. Overall: I love this style of Frye, worth every penny and will last for seasons to come. You can always send 'em back free if you don't love them. You have no excuse not to look adorable this fall!

First, Zappos is the best fastest shipper ever! Thank you so much. These boots are awesome. I was very nervous about the color (I ordered Saddle because I loved the silver buckles on them). In the photo they look pretty reddish. When I opened the box, I fell in love instantly. The color is perfect, not too red at all, and I can match with anything. I am normally a size 81/2 - 9. I ordered the 9 and they slipped on no problem. I also have bigger calves, but absolutely no problem with being too tight. My only hang-up with them is the distressing; they look like I've worn them for about 5 years! I would like it if they were a little newer looking, but then again with a dress, it makes a perfect under-statement that I can wear to work. This is definitely a splurge at the top of my price range, but I am very happy. I am so excited about these boots.

I first bought the dark brown boots, after mulling it over for 6 months and I loved them, and later on, after thinking about the black patent leather ones for another 4 months, I broke down and bought them. I wear a size 9 and the fit on both pairs was consistent. The buckles allow you to adjust the fit. \r\n\r\nI love these boots for their classic styling, and they look expensive, especially when you compare them to other boots. The black patent is gorgeous. \r\n\r\nThese boots are comfortable, I work on hard floors and stand up for 8 hours, and they weren\'t as comfortable as tennis shoes of course, but they were o.k. I only wear them to work occasionally.\r\n\r\nWhen I first wore them, I got 3 compliments on them right away from strangers. If you are thinking of buying these, you won\'t be sorry, and you will get a lot of use out of them, and you will be glad you have them in your wardrobe.

I am normally a size eight to eight and a half. I have a pair of the Harness 12 Frye boots, and a size seven fits me perfectly. I bought a size seven in the Veronica Slouch and they were much too small. I returned them for a size eight and they were perfect. I would say these fit true to size, however, I have very narrow feet. So for all of those who have narrow feet this is the review to look at!
