Like all Frye boots, these boots are beautiful. I have owned my pair for a couple of years and the buckle across the top broke at the end of last winter. I am so disappointed considering the price tag.

The problem with these boots is that they are not as they appear online. I was looking for red leather boots, and they looked red. Not fire engine red, or obnoxious red either. Elegant, fiery, committed to color red. The kids' version is red--I've seen it in person. The adult version is a watered-down, drab, and frankly ugly copper-brown-barely red. And sadly (first world problem alert), I have since learned that the Eric Michael Laguna boot in red is the same washed-out, lame pseudo-red. Does anyone know where a person can purchase actual red boots (short of a true cowboy boot style)? Also, for the record, I have looked at these boots, as well as the Eric Michael Lagunas, on multiple computers--iPads, desktops, laptops--where they appear to be red. In real life, while the style and quality are excellent, they are utterly disappointing, and frankly ugly.

I've been trying to find a boot for all-around country life, motorcycles, horses etc, and though these boots were lovely and fit well, the slouch is too slouchy. I'll be looking at others of this brand because it does seem solidly built.

Like many Frye boots these are a bit tight, stiff at first. But having had them a couple of months now, they are feeling great. The leather on the shafts is so soft and supple.

This is my second pair of Frye boots but those are so narrow and small everywhere they did not even fit me. I am a size 9½-10 and ordered them in 10. My feet do not even go in the boots. They are short, and would have hit my calves in the most unflattering part of them, not that I have wide calves but they would have looked odd. Maybe the measurements got mixed up. They are well made but they are so narrow everywhere that it is impossible to get into them unless you have very narrow feet and calves.

Love these boots. I am between a 5 or 5.5 and the 5.5 fits perfect. I got the camel color and love it. I was a little worried about the color being too bright, but it is the exactly the color I was looking for. A great boot to wear all seasons.

These are great boots. They go with every color in the closet and they are very comfortable. If you are looking for boots that you can wear all day, you have found them.

These are the perfect boots hands down. They are comfortable (like running shoes) and they have the perfect amount of style without going overboard.

I am in love! I just received the Veronica Slouch in Camel today and love them! The color is gorgeous and they are very comfortable. To make sure the boots will feel good wearing to work, I've been wearing them around the house. No break-in necessary and they fit true to size. They are a little hard to pull on, but I've experienced this with other boots that have no zippers. This is not a problem for me. In addition to loving my new Veronica Slouch boots, I also want to express my gratitude for Zappos customer service. I had a question regarding my payment method and received great service from Brooks. Great company, gorgeous boots! Love Zappos!

Just love these boots! They actually fit better than any of my other Frye boots. I can easily see myself ordering this boot in other colors. (Down girl...)

I just received the Veronica slouch in brown and I love them. I got my normal sz 9 but found they run a little big. I'm good with that, room for thicker socks.Well made and truly beautiful. Well worth the money. My plan is to buy new Fryes every year. This is only my second pair! Yay!

These are very nice boots, but not my favorite Frye boots, and I have several pair. Seems the US made boots are of superior quality. The Veronica is more of a fashion boot to me, while the Engineers are good tough boots but so stylish and cool. The Veronica did not require any break in time for me, but in the long run have proved to not be as comfortable as the Engineers, either the 12 or the 15 inch.

Not tall at all. They came up about mid-calf height. Hate the height. I have the Vera tall, and they are far superior. Veronica tall is going back.

This would have been my 4th pair of Frye boots, all size 10. These size 10 I couldn't even get my foot into, the entry was not long enough for a long foot. Not sure what the deal is.

In my opinion these run super small. I feel like my normal size (8.5) will eventually stretch out, but a 9 would be much more comfortable, even if they stretched a bit too. They fit well around my calves (15in) and I like that the calf is adjustable. The dark brown color is nice and will go with anything. I think they'll hold up well in the snow too but it would be good to have more room for socks!

Love these boots, but sizing was way off for me. I ordered my usual size based on reviews and my other Fryes but these fit a whole size larger. As soon as I opened the box I could tell something was off and checked the inner marking to ensure there wasn't a mixup with the boxes. Sure enough, they were marked 9. They easily slipped on but we're falling off my foot like clogs do. As a replacement, I ordered 8 and 8.5 just to be sure. The 8.5 felt better but my heel easily slipped out with every step. The 8 was tight to get on (I used the plastic bag over the foot trick) but fit perfect once they were on. As with all leather boots, these will soften up after a couple wears and will slip on easily. Amazing craftsmanship, gorgeous styling and just the right amount of slouch make these winners. I got the vintage brown and the color is warm and beautiful.

I love Frye boots and own 2 pairs that are so comfortable and seem to get better overtime. I have been eyeing the Veronica slouch for a long time and finally decided to purchase. I ended up returning because the ombre coloring in the photo, which shows the blue half way up the leg and was my favorite part, but they very different when I received them. The entire leg of the boot was cream color and the only part that was blue was just the very foot of the boot. I ordered another pair since I thought they might vary a bit but they were exactly the same so I returned those too. I was disappointed because I really wanted to love them. If they looked just like the photo they would have been great.

I have owned these for 6 years now and they are still in great shape! I just polished them up with the Frye waterproof dressing and they look new again. The quality and craftsmanship of these boots is worth every penny. My only complaint is that they are not super comfortable. I recently purchased the Veronica short and they are extremely comfortable, so it's possible they have made some improvements. The shortie has a padded footbed that makes all day wear no problem. Hopefully they have made these just as comfortable. Love these boots!

Love. Still breaking them in, which is actually quite painful. Blisters and such. But once that process is complete, I will be living in these for years to come. Top quality, great style.

I am a Frye boot lover. I have about 10 pairs and wear them all winter and fall. I am a teacher so I am always looking for ones that I can be on my feet with all day. My Frye's range in size from 7.5 to 8.5. The Veronica Slouch is one of my most comfy pairs. I stay on my feet in them all day. I find many Frye's run big so I ordered these in a 7.5. Frye's do stretch but it's more in width not in length. The 7.5 were just a bit snug in length. You want them to slip a bit in the heel. If they don't you will get blisters. I ended up going with the 8 instead and they are perfect with maybe a little room. This is good because you can wear a thicker sock or put a Dr Scholls pad in the bottom which actually gives extra comfort. I would say I am a solid size 8 so I ended up with this boot in my normal size. Be sure to walk around the house in them for a while before you decide on a size. Sometimes they don't feel uncomfortable until after a while and if you wear them out it will be too late to return. I would recommend going with the one that feels a little roomier.

I received these boots yesterday after trying and returning 3 pair since the holidays. I have one other pair of Frye boots that I really love, and wear at least twice a week. The craftmanship of this brand is amazing. My only complain about these is that the dark brown leather looks Cordovan, or Burgundy to me. I want brown distressed, and I am having trouble finding the exact color. So, these may have to go back as well, although I love the style. I think that I have found the style that I want, I just need to figure out the right color. One more thing about Frye. They seem to run about a half size small. I usually wear an 8, and cannot get an 8 on through the heel area. The 8 1/2 fits me perfectly.

I can believe how disappointed I am! I couldn't wait to find these on my doorstep and subsequently try them on and I was pretty disappointed! Hard. No cushion or support. Very tight in the toe and very loose in the heel, to the point I felt like I was walking out of them in the back! Bizarre! So sad, love the look, but these have to go back! I don't think I could wear these all day at work, no way! My search continues!

These are such cute boots and it took me several tries to find the right size. In closed toe/heel shoes I usually wear a size 8. In these it took a size 7½. Still after wearing them around in the house for a bit I decided they just are lacking too much in the comfort factor. The boot leather is very stiff in the shoe/toe area and was uncomfortably tight across the ball of my foot. Yet the heel of the boot was extremely loose to the point of almost sloppy. Admittedly, I do have narrow heels, that said there also is basically no cushioning or arch support in the footbed. So as much as I wanted them to work they will have to go back.
