I really like these boots and wanted to keep them because they are nice looking and comfortable and WARM. That is, once I managed to get my feet in them. I have very high insteps, and it took a lot of wiggling to get these on. So, although they are otherwise quite nice, back they go, sadly, as I don't have time to mess with them every morning in the winter.

This are adorable and for sure very warm. The problem is that toe bed -- it rubs on the sides of both my little toe and my big toe, making it painful to move. They are also a bit clunky and heavy to move around in, at least for me. Not for heavy duty walking, and the ability to walk distances in comfortable boots or shoes is always important for me. So I am sending them back. I hate sending things back! But glad I can easily.

Love the feel of these on my feet. I felt like these boots were hugging my feet all day long. They fit very comfortably, kept my feet warm and dry on a snowy day, and overall good quality workmanship. The only reason I did not give them a 5/5 is because they are heavy (not the lightweight as advertised). Overall, I would recommend these to keep your feet warm and dry.

Warm as hell, but they feel extremely clunky. I can see why they're so popular, but I'm opting for the Pajar Iceland instead, which just feels more wearable.

I really wanted to love these boots. These are exactly what I wanted but they were just too big. I wear a 6/6.5 and ordered a 7 based on reviews. They were way too big and they are also very clunky. They made my feet look huge. I am going for the Tivoli II.

Very happy with these. Have plantar fasciitis and struggle to find shoes that don't result in arch pain. Slipped some orthotics into these and these work quite well.

These are beautiful boots and I look forward to wearing them this winter for our ski vacation. I am usually a 7, sometimes a 7.5, but in these I had to get an 8 since there were no half sizes. They are a little roomy but should be perfect with thick ski socks on. My feet are on the wider side of medium and the 7's were too narrow.

These are the "crap, it's gonna snow 10 inches" boots. Clumpy and big, but you know your feet will be warm and dry. The only thing that prevents it from being a 5 star is when I stick my foot in the left boot, the back collapses and that one has to be carefully negotiated negating the "slip on and go" ease.

I have very wide feet, usually size 7.5 (if the shoes are super wide)/8 (if the width is wider than medium). I live in Uggs in the winter and flip flops in the summer. It's very hard to find runners that are comfortable. I also have "thick" feet and toes. After reading the reviews here and amazon, I decided to get a 8.5. The width & height is comfortable with thick socks on but the length is a little too long. I am afraid I might find the shoes a little narrow if I bought a size 8. It has no arch support but that's okay.

These boots are really nice, but I read somewhere that you need to order a size larger and it's true. I normally wear a 6 so I ordered a 7 and they are still very snug. I might return for a 7 1/2. Also if you have wide feet, forget it totally.

I initially ordered these in my regular size 7, but had to return them for a 7.5. My toes were touching the tip of the boot. I also own the Cumberland Lea, which is an excellent boot, in a size 7. I don't know why two boots made by the same company would fit so differently, but thanks to Zappos I was able to quickly receive the proper fit. This little boot is so cute and warm! I like that it hits my foot slightly above the ankle. Jeans look really good tucked in to them, as well as tights/leggings. They are a perfect winter component!

So I broke my leg and ankle quite badly so while I recover, my foot has a limited range of motion and swells. Like, HUGELY. So getting a boot that could get me through the winter, support my foot, and actually get on my foot was important. This boot does it. I wear a 9, ordered a 9, and while it took me a few minutes to get my un-bendy foot into it, once my foot slipped in, the boot fit like a dream. The inside is warm and soft. My toes have room to move. I don't need a sock; it's super heavy duty for Chicago ice and snow, and my foot feels stable and supported. And it's cute and fuzzy. LOVE it.

I noticed that I'm the only customer from Canada to write a review on the site, so here's to all the Canadian shoppers. Shipping time was decent, I think it was around 2-3 weeks like the site proposed. The boots are comfortable, but a little chunky. Size: I would suggest ordering them a size smaller. I am a size 7.5-8 but I have other Sorel boots and the 8 was tight with cozy socks, so I was worried before they came. However, the boots have lots of room and even a 7.5 is a big big for me. I wish I ordered the 7. I didn't bother returning/exchanging because of the $15 charge for shipping internationally. Otherwise, pretty good boots and good customer service.

I usually wear a 7.5-8 but ordered an 8 in these to accommodate thick socks. I ended up also adding a slim insole and now they fit great. They are not heavy boots and they are so soft and warm. I have not worn them in the snow because the ski season in CA is a few months away. My only complaint...it is a little difficult to tie the laces tight and you want the laces on these boots tight for ankle support. I have tried on a few other pairs of snow boots since I purchased these and I have not liked any of them as much.

Very light boots. True to size. The only problem I have with them is the shoelace slips and the ankle does not feel snug. I will replace the shoelace and try to tighten the ankle.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I researched the heck out of trying to find a warm snow boot. My feet tend to be cold all the time in the winter so I wanted a boot that has "fur" lined all the way through. These definitely met the mark on that end. However, they fit funny. I normally wear a size 9 shoe. Upon putting my foot in the boot and doing a lap in my home. I noticed that my foot was pushed forward in the boot and my heel was not hitting the back. I could perhaps look past that however what I could not look past is the spot where the plastic rubber of the bottom portion of the boot hits the "cloth" part of the shoe. It caved in. Kind of like when something that is too big on you and it ends up creasing in that area. It made wearing and walking in the boot uncomfortable as it was digging in beneath my ankle. In all the reviews I read on these boots I did not see one mention of anyone complaining of this problem. The boots are being sent back and my search continues!

I am returning these cute boots. They are heavy and don’t help my tendency to pronate. They look very well made and are snuggly warm.

These look quite cheap, and have a big gap at the top that isn’t great if you’re going in deeper snow or don’t want snow down your boots…

I returned boots because the pad of my foot became swollen and bruised when I walked more than 10 minutes. Perhaps the boot needs more padding or the fit was poor. I have a narrow heal and medium foot width. I’ve never had this problem with a boot or shoe before.

I wear a size 6. Bought a size 7. An 8 would probably fit. There is something in the right boot that feels like a clump of sock, but I don't wear socks in them because they are already too small. After reading all the reviews stating these run large, I am really disappointed in how small they are. Maybe mis-sized? Highly unlikely... These are really nice looking boots, just the right height for running back and forth to the machine shed. But I can assure you walking more than 30 feet in these is very painful on the bottom of the feet. Now, because I am a sorel fan, I will be buying another pair of boots, but NOT the Snow Angel model.

Wish they came in half sizes. I wear a 7½ and, true to size, the 7 is too small and the 8 is too big. I'll go with the 8's and tie them tight - that helps - although not enough for long walks. Good enough for light use on rainy/snowy days though. On the plus side, they are super cute with a decent arch. I'd give them all 5 stars if they came in half-sizes.
