I always wear Birkenstock clogs and sandals. I always wanted a pair of the Birkenstock shoes, but I live in a small town and never could try them on in a regular shoe store. For Christmas I asked for a pair since I live in Wi. I needed a pair of shoes and not clogs. We found these at Zappos, ordered them and they came quickly. I love them; they feel wonderful. Since I have a lot of foot problems the Dr. said Birkenstocks were the best option. There is plenty of room in the toe box and amazing support in the shoe. Very happy with them.

Good for plantar fasciitis and morton's neuroma. I like these shoes - they do run wide, but all "regular" width Birkenstock are made this way. I really needed the extra width too and the arch support is pretty good - one of my feet has a very high arch and the other just has a high arch. These shoes don't aggravate my plantar fasciitis or morton's neuromas. Comfort-wise, they would be perfect if the inside was just a tiny bit softer. I really like them and will order another pair in a different color. I have the black ones and wear them to work with dress slacks long enough to cover the buckle - no one seems to have noticed. The heels do slip up and down a bit while walking so I wear knee high trouser socks with them. Regular cotton socks kept slipping down into the shoe but the knee highs stay put perfectly.

I have not worn Birkenstock for years and wasn't sure of the size but good glory, with the Zappos method of returns and exchanges it was no big deal that I had to return the first pair. The shoes are exactly what I needed with my high arch. My foot pain has stopped now that I have Birks again. I have never had such an enclosed shoe from them before and the leather is VERY stiff when you first get them, but they are getting more comfy all the time as they weather to my foot and the leather softens up some. I know they will last a good long while.

I've currently got three pair of Birkies and needed one for daily use in wet weather. Love the simple elegant style, and the overall comfort is great, but the heel is very loose so shoe will rub my heel raw in short time. Am returning.

Love these, very comfortable (I am on my feet most of the day). Plenty of support and they are cool looking!

Very comfortable shoe, the arch support works just as well as my orthotics. Great shoe for winter when you have to put away your Birkenstock sandals.

I love these shoes! That is, after I trimmed the back down to the same level as the side dip, and trimmed the collar down to just above the cross strap. As they were, I could not get them on an off without using the very unforgiving buckle which causes you to stand on your head to remove or put on. Now they are perfect. I normally wear a 38 but ordered 39 as they are narrow which I did not know was available, and I wear with sox. Would be 5 stars if I had not had to alter.

These shoes are great! Just what I expected from Birkenstock. Good arch and I can walk for miles. The shoes get better the more I wear them. These are my 5th pair from the Birkenstock line of shoes.

Great shoe with amazing arch support. I heard some reviews that it is not stylish but I like the look.

Nice! I still own a pair of size 43 Birkenstock sandals I bought 20 years ago. I recently bought the same size in the Londons. Perfect fit. So, if you need a Birkenstock that acts like a shoe, this is a great choice. They take a couple days to break in, after which they feel great. I can easily run in these shoes.

If Birks work for you and you can get the proper fit, I'm sure these would be great. Maybe the size I ordered was too big? They were the same size (40) as my Amsterdams that fit well. My instep/arch is on the high side, and my heel is narrow in comparison to the front of my foot. I'm unsure and the top of the shoe at the instep seemed to come too far up my foot (is this the vamp? if so, the vamp was too high) and so was poking into my foot near the flexion point, and the heel seemed to slip too much plus the top of the heel was poking into my achilles. The strap is a bit difficult to adjust and it seems to have one or two holes where it prefers to live. They look great for a pair of Birks, though! To have the uniform color all around the heel (vs the cork) looks sleek and less like a casual comfort shoe.

Really wanted these shoes to be great but unfortunately the toe box is so wide the shoes looked ridiculous on my size 8 feet. I love my Birkenstock sandals and would like to find some equally comfortable everyday cold weather shoes. These were not the ones.

On my feet a great deal as a chef. The best chefs shoes I have ever owned. My feet aren't as worn out at the end of the day.

It says the size 36 is for shoe size 5-5 1/2 which is totally wrong! Birkenstock is not making hardly any shoes in the 35 which has always been the size 5-5 1/2 . . . they fit like a 6-6 1/2 which is correct for the 36, so beware of the new sizing!

I have a wide foot with a bunion, and this shoe would be perfect except for one problem: I have to buckle and unbuckle the strap each time I want to take the shoe on and off. In the photo it looked like a shoe that I could step into if I set the buckle as wide as it would go. But this did not work, so I'm exchanging them for the Amsterdam.

I think I liked them but needed a half size. 39 was to small and 40 was to big. I had to send them back darn it anyway. I bought the Birkenstock Boston instead.

I bought these shoes for my clinical rotations in nursing school. They are super comfortable, relatively stylish and get a lot of compliments. And not to mention that they're Birks!

I have been wearing Birkenstock Londons for years. I only wish I had discovered them years earlier and wish to wear nothing else in leather! Love their comfort and style. I use Hunter Blacks for formal and Habana Oiled Leather for day-to-day.

Fit and comfort just like regular Birkenstocks. I had a pair years ago that were all leather and they were really stiff and didn't break-in for a long time. While the wool is very structured, it is more comfortable. The only down-side is that the brown leather did stain my light-colored socks. I would not wear them without socks.

My husband liked the look of these shoes. These Birko Flors have extremely high arch support that was painful for him to wear. Exact quote: "It feels like one of those Skechers shoes built to rock your feet." He is not a fan.

From start to finish experience with Zappos was very positive! I placed my order after being dissatisfied with another company and requiring these shoes by Friday and it was Wednesday. The super friendly customer service person VIP'd me and I received them overnight! I am completely satisfied and will shop Zappos again!

I really love this pair of shoes! The quality is awesome and the price is a steal. Delivery cannot be faster! Will definitely shop more at 6pm. Looking into other Birkenstock shoes right now.

I am not thrilled with these but I kept to wear indoors during winter months. I have narrow, hard to fit feet. The Birkenstock foot bed is what I need most. I hate the strange toe shape.

I wasn't sure what size to order because I own the Arizona sandals which I wear bare foot and plan to wear the Londons with socks. So, I ordered both, the same as the sandals and one size bigger. The size bigger seemed to be the best fit. I hope to have many wonderful years with these shoes.

I bought these shoes about 8 months ago and loved them immediately. The color and fit were great. After a few months, they were a little scuffed up and scratched. I wasn't sure how to do that so I contacted Birkenstock. Their customer representative said to use saddle soap or take it to a Birkenstock repair retailer. I used saddle soap and it turned the shoes dark charcoal. Upset that I had possibly ruined my shoes, I brought them to the local repair shop. All they suggested to do was use black cream shoe polish because there really as no way to bring the original color back. Now I have a black pair of clogs, which I don't like as much. Disappointed because these shoes were really cute (and pretty expensive!).
