Surprising buy - I passed these shoes by when I first saw them in the store because their look doesn't catch your eye. My boyfriend actually thought they looked like good walking shoes because I needed something for some desert hiking. I tried them on and I felt like I was walking on air. They are so cushioned and comfortable and after all the walking we did through the desert, my feet were neither tired nor sore. I would recommend these to everyone. They do look cute with jeans too. I had to buy a size and a half larger than my normal size for a fantastic fit with medium-thickness socks.

Walk for miles! This is an all around great shoe! Very comfortable and easy to wear. You can go out in the morning when the dew is on and not worry about wet socks. This shoe keeps your feet dry. It's sturdy and good looking too! I have hiked for miles in it and have no complaints.

Great shoes - They were a tad stiff at first, like a lot of shoes, but I "broke them in" before wearing to Alaska and they performed perfectly. I do wish they had dark brown accents like the men's shoes as I am not that fond of light brown. And Zappos service was the best I have ever received from an online vendor - FANTASTIC!!!

New Balance Hiking Shoes - I have just returned from vacation in the Rocky Mtns., where your product was utilized daily for long hikes on dirt, rocks, inclines, and the shoes were SO comfortable and supportive. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you.

Perfect - This shoe is exactly what I wanted. It fits a narrow foot well and looks great with khaki shorts and pants. I am not a hiker but I will use these shoes on extremely hot days when I ride my motorcycle (my boots get a little hot). Good traction and light weight.

Mother-in-law loves them - I bought these for a very picky mother-in-law for Mother's Day and she really likes them!! She wears a wide and I got these in the wide fit and she said they fit perfectly. My idea was that she could use them for good support when she does yard work but she decided they were too nice for that so she is using them for every day sporty wear. Either way, I was just glad the fit and style worked!

Very Nice Shoe - After one day of adjusting the laces to get them to feel just right, these shoes are great. I can wear them indefinitely and they are completely comfortable. I bought them to go hiking in Yorkshire, England, and they'll be just fine.

New Balance 965 - I have hard time finding comfortable walking shoes. These are so great that I bought an extra pair to alternate walking days. Not a good looking shoe, but I prefer substance over appearance.

Love them - I have a pair of the 965, I love them, no breaking in needed I put them on and walked three miles.

Excellent buy - This shoe is a gem, but runs a tad large.

Very comfortable shoe - My arch is quite high and I usually have to wear orthotics to get the support I need, so I was quite surprised at how well these shoes fit me right out of the box. The shoe style was built to fit an AL-2 last. Fits like a glove. I'm pleased that it is available in a wider width as well. Haven't worn them in rainy weather so I can't yet endorse the shoes as waterproof. The heel can slip a bit when I'm walking (no problem with socks), but that's the only imperfection I can find in an otherwise very comfortable shoe.

Very nice - Actually very nice shoes, although, I ordered wide and they are not that wide. If I had not thrown away the box I would have exchanged them. But other than that they are very nice shoes.

Great shoes - I love, love, love my new New Balance shoes. I have wide feet and huge bunions and these shoes feel great. Not only that, they look great with jeans. They felt a little snug at first, but they fit great.

WW965 - Recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger. My orthotics fit fine in the shoe. Good cushioning. Very supportive comfort. They look cool too. I bought 2 pairs.

Sadly, this great shoe doesn't fit me... My foot needs an X-001 last (similar to SL-1) & these just don't fit (built on an AL-2 Last = foot model). Awesome looking, well-built waterproof shoe.

Good Support WW 965 - NB makes a great shoe- the only issue is a rubbing on inside above ankle - will have to use a bandage to stop the chaffing.

Great shoe - I ordered this shoe because I was going to be outside in the cold for some time. It came the day after I ordered and was just what I needed. The shoes fit my hard to fit short and wide foot.

Love this shoe! This shoe fits me perfectly and I have narrow feet. I'm super pleased with them and they are comfortable right out of the box!

Oh My Goodness - This brown shoe is just the answer to my quest for an extra wide shoe for my sturdy insole to fit in. I wear a wide; but with the insole needs, I ordered an extra wide. I am just so pleased. It is so hard to find this color and this great a fit. The sizing was superior to none. The toe area is narrower than the heel. If you keep that in mind I'd give this shoe a 10. Thanks for a great shoe.

Super Shoe - I ordered these shoes because I have long, narrow feet and they are exactly what they appear to be. Very comfortable, waterproof (I live in "snow" country) warm and look great with jeans or slacks. Have had a lot of compliments on them. In fact, my husband ordered another pair for me for Christmas as it is sometimes hard to get shoes that fit this well for me. I have recommended these to my friend as she is on her feet a lot.

Love this shoe - This is the second time I have purchased this shoe. It is true to width and true to size - very comfortable.

Great shoe - I like this shoe very much. It offers great support and it looks good with slacks. It is also a plus that it is water-resistant (it should stay cleaner).

Daisy - Last week I was home for a weeks vacation and headed up to Canada with my parents. I wore these shoes the entire time I was up there and had no trouble with the arthritis in my ankles. They provided maximum support with comfort.

Great feel - I really like these New Balance walking shoes. They have great support. I have one orthodic and this shoe works well with one/not-one.

Great rugged shoe. This is the third pair of these shoes that I've gotten. Width is a very big factor for me, small wide feet! They’re a very rugged shoe; I’m on my feet all day often in wet conditions. I really couldn't have asked for more. Receiving them in 24 hrs was fantastic.
