I usually wear an 8 in flip flops and 8 1/2 to 9 in tennis shoes. My husband bought me a pair of the Arizona style but I always wear flip flops and I didn't think I'd wear them much. I decided to exchange and get the gizeh and I love them. I may have been able to get a size smaller but the 39 fits good. They are very comfortable. It does take a few times wearing them for your feet to adjust to them. I definitely plan on buying more!!

I love Birks. I have flat feet and as soon as I try to walk my legs cave in. My feet swells often and I have hard time walking but this baby helped me walk! I wear pretty shoes every other day and balance that by wear these on alternate days so my feet remain happy. The only thing to be aware of is that it takes a while to get used to it otherwise great pair! love em!

It took me forever to find these shoes. I'm new to birkenstocks. I recently purchased the clogs with the shearling lining in a 36 and LOVE them. I've been wearing them around the house all summer. I am ALWAYS a true to size 6, so at first I ordered the birko-flor in toffee in a 36 from zappos. They were HUGE and very much darker in person than I anticipated. Easily a size and a half too big, my foot was swimming in them. Come to find that 35 is the smallest size these come in and are very hard to find at the end of the summer, but being a teacher, I wanted them for back to school when the weather is still warm. Now since I know very little about birkenstock, I had no idea what the difference is between birko-flor and birkibuc, but when I found these in a 35 and a lighter color, I just went for it. I'm so glad I did! I thought that the birkibuc sounded like the "cheap version" but they are very good quality. These had about 1 hour of break in time - I wore them around the block to walk my dog. There was some irritating rubbing at the balls of my feet. I put them on the next day and wore them every day since! No problems. I did find that I needed to tighten the left shoe after about a week and a half, as my foot was slipping a bit. Now it's perfect. There is still a bit of room in the length, but not so much as it's uncomfortable. The width is perfect and my feet are not wide or narrow. The inside of the straps are very soft and comfortable. The thong is plastic and I was concerned that it would rub and hurt, but I don't notice it at all. Overall, these feel like the best pair of shoe-flipflops I've ever owned! I foresee wearing these for years to come.

These run a full size big - according to the size chart, I should wear a 37 (US 6.5) but these were huge - there was a 1/2 inch of space in the back and the toe ridges didn't line up. I exchanged for a 36 (which is a US 5-5.5?) and they fit perfectly. These are both cute and comfortable, and the mocha color matches everything.

This is a high quality, super cute sandal! A little stiff at first - it takes a few days to break them in. But they look great and the color goes with pretty much everything! I took other reviewers' advice and ordered a size down from my normal size and I am so glad I did - they fit perfectly. I am sure these will last for years to come, and the classic design will not go out of style!

Had to order a full size smaller from my usual size and shoe is still a little on the larger side. I still think it's cute and comfortable, though it seems to take a little bit to break in.

Great buy! Takes a little while to break in feels well made and great for travel.

This was my first experience with a purchase from Zappos. It was delivered regular UPS one day ahead of schedule. I have purchased Birkenstock shoes for many years and find them perfect for me - I love all my Birkenstock's.

These are amazing and definitely worth the commitment to break them in! I read several reviews about how you have to break them in to mold to your feet. When they arrived I was seriously mad because they HURT! The ridge behind my toes hurt the worst. I had to make a decision to either return them before I wore them or to wear them and risk them hurting and being unable to return them because they had been worn. I decided to just go it and I'm glad I did! It was a good week of wearing them every day before they felt good - so stick with it! I also have adjusted the strap twice. At first I loosened it and now that they are comfy, I'm tightening it. I can wear them with everything which is my favorite part!

I love these shoes. I am 7 months pregnant and my feet are swollen and I love that I can tighten and loosen the straps. Very Comfortable- I wear them almost daily.

I have had various copies of this shoe for almost 30 years and I LOVE them. I have skinny narrow feet with long toes. Living in Reno I wear them as soon as the snow melts. The buckle on the side helps with the fit and the arch support is high like all Birkenstocks. These are great for a fun night out, with capris, on the beach or with sweatpants. Love them.

Amazing shoes; loved them so much I purchased the same shoe in two other colors! I wear an 8 and bought the 38 size; perfect fit!

Zappos is awesome! These shoes came so fast and they were just as the description said. I love the videos on the products because then you can see how they would look on a person. You can't lose with Birkenstocks and this style is very stylish! :) I have received many compliments on the style and color! You need to buy these!

Super cute shoes! Because of the neutral color, they match with most outfits. Not nuts about it being so metallic/shiny - nubuck or just plain leather would have been perfect! I am normally a size 10, so wish they would make that size (I bought 9.5) because I really wanted the shoes.

Love Birks but feel they have a sizing issue. Bought these for my daughter. She's a kid size 3 but they were a little small so I sized up to a 4. Kid sizes stop at 3 and the adult 4 is very big on her. Surely, Birks should extend there kid sizes. I don't think my average 10 year old should be wearing adult size and paying adult price!

Bought these for my daughter, 28, who wanted a new pair of the "Mayari" style Birks. But they now are not made in a 35. So I picked this one out "Hoping" she would like it, and she loves it! Fits perfect, and she says she gets compliments on them all the time. May have to grab a pair for myself now.

I love these sandals! They are by far some of the most comfortable I've ever worn, but they do make your feet sore at first. I followed everyone else's advice and ordered a size down, as they tend to run big. I'm usually a size 8 (or 39), but I ordered a 7.5 (or 38) and I am very happy with the size. They fit perfect!

In Honolulu we give our slippas a lot of wear and pay attention when we buy. This handsome, comfortable sandal happens also to be fashionable, who knew?!
