Cute for dressing up or dressing down. These are quickly becoming my favorite shoes! They took a few wears to break in, but once they formed to my feet, they now feel like slippers.

They are cute and comfortable. Yes, there is a few days of adjustment as they mold to your foot, but once they do, you could walk all day in these! They are very well made and I am sure I will get years of wear out of them. I wear a women’s size 9 and I ordered size 40 and they fit perfectly. I have to add an appreciation of Zappos customer service! When I got the package, I opened the box and the shoes looked as if they had been worn. I was bummed so I called the customer service number. Knowing that Zappos is a large retailer, I was sure it was just that they can’t possibly check every returned pair of shoes to see what condition they are in; they likely just verify the shoes are there and then restock them. But still, these aren’t inexpensive shoes and so I felt I should get a new pair. The lady was extremely apologetic and helpful. I called customer service at 4pm and had a new pair delivered just before noon the next day! I was only on the phone with them for 10 minutes and I didn’t have to pay a dime to ship the other pair back. And she had me put the shoebox I was returning in a grocery bag to flag the return department that there was something wrong with the pair I was returning in order to ensure they wouldn’t get restocked again. I was very impressed!

Love this shoe! Runs about a half size larger but fits great in correct size. Very comfortable.

I am in love with my new Birkenstocks! I always wanted a pair and these do not disappoint! They are so unbelievably comfortable and molded to my foot after about the 4th wear. They are true to size and look just great! They shipped so fast I think they were at my door 2 days after I ordered! No need to explain why I give Zappos a 5 star rating!

Don't hate me because this is my first pair of Birkenstocks! While I am very much please with these shoes, I must admit that I suffer from some pain if I wear them for any given amount of time. The area that is just below my toes on my right foot only cause so much pain to my foot, I can barely stand it, and from which causes toe cramps. I am not giving up on them so I am wearing them around the house for shorter periods of time to see if they just need some breaking in. I purchased these Birks along with another pair in a different style. The other style provides absolute comfort and I am super pleased.

Love these Birks! This is my second pair of this style, the other pair I've had for 7+ years. I'm a size 8.5 and I got the 39's, they fit perfectly. This style breaks in pretty quickly, I've had no rubbing or discomfort.

Lightweight and comfortable. Easy to walk in and stays put.

Love Birks!! This is my second pair and also we bought these for a friend and we are both in love! The thong portion between the toes is slightly thicker than most but only noticeable in the beginning. I love the soles of birks for long walking days for sure. I were a 7.5 in tennis shoes consistently but wear a 37 in birks. 38 are just alittle to sloppy for my liking.

Absolutely love these shoes! They are very comfortable and break in fast. I have a wide foot and the regular fit pretty good.

Love these shoes! It's true they they run a size bigger, so I strongly suggest you order a full size smaller or you'll be exchanging them. With that being said I must give a huge complement to the customer service here at zappos. I received my shoes along with another pair of shoes I had ordered and both didn't fit. I called customer service and spoke with an extremely friendly person who replaced my order for different sizes and got them sent out immediately. They send you new ones free of charge and give you 14days to send other ones back PLUS they pay for return shipping! Great shoes and great customer service!

I absolutely love these sandals! It took a couple of days to get used to them, but I've barely taken them off since. Love the mocha color, it pairs well with just about everything! I wear an eight and ordered the 38 size and fit is great. Also, the regular width fits great, whereas with the Arizona style I need a narrow.

Love Zappos! I ordered these Friday night and they arrived at 1pm on Monday! I wore Birkenstocks often in high school and college, and I decided to come back to them now that I'm 5 months pregnant and starting to get major foot pain, especially in my arches. Right out of the box, I can already feel relief, and I know they will get even more comfortable as they mold to my feet. Size-wise, I think they fit pretty well. I'm normally an 11-11.5, so I ordered the 42's. There is some extra room in front and back, but I would not size down. My only complaint is that the color is darker than the picture shows. I think they were probably photographed in bright studio lighting, making them look like a lighter brown, but the straps on my pair are a color much closer to the button on the toe divider, more like a dark taupe. Still a great neutral that will go with a lot. An expensive shoe, but the comfort they provide is worth it!

Very comfortable to walk in.

I bought these as a replacement for my last pair (a leather version) that, after a year of almost constant, everyday use, were looking a little abused. They're extremely comfortable, though, and despite their rough appearance, they're still a solid, if a bit grimy, pair of shoes. This pair was a bit stiffer but still quite comfortable, although I wasn't prepared for the foot beds: apparently my old pair has broken down and gotten rather flat. These are much more defined and took my moderately flat feet by surprise. Although I did not keep this exact pair (I went with a different color) I was still able to wear the other new ones all day long the first day out of the box. And not just to sit on my duff, either. The fourth day out, I wore them for a full day at Disney. Needless to say, I have no doubt that I will be purchasing these shoes over and over for many years to come! As far as these exact ones: I simply didn't like how the color looked on my feet. They definitely have a real leather look and feel to them (a very soft, supple sort of brushed leather), but the color was just meh on me. I'm pretty fair (to quote a friend: "magnolia") and these just didn't do much for me. So instead, I went with the same style, but in the toffee color. Thankfully, zappos is awesome (why I shop with them in the first place) and I was able to try different colors with absolutely no hassle! Thank you, zappos!!!

My favorite summer shoe! Great support and wear them daily!

Perfect sandal for lots of walking around. Bought them for recent trip to Chile and was able to complete many walking tours while wearing these. They went with many items I wore, including cute dresses. I just had foot surgery too and they provided very stable support, much better than a flip flop.

I have bought these sandals four times (or more): both for myself and for my daughters. We all love them! They are comfortable (although not as comfortable as the cushioned Birkenstock sandals) and an especially good choice for summer sandals, as they look cute and go with almost any outfit. One might have to get used to the thong - it's a bit stiff at first. But after a few hours of wear the skin adjusts and it ceases to be an issue. I have worn these sandals in different colors for several summers now and can only recommend them.

These were my first birkenstock sandal and I'm in love! It took me a few tries to get the sizing right. I'm a typical size 6, but needed these in a 35 and there's still a little bit of wiggle room front to back. I really love the color, too. I bought the mocha and it's slightly darker than the picture. One thing I didn't count on is that when I'm walking the dog, they are like pebble traps. The loose gravel that would slide out of a normal flip flop become trapped in the well of these. It's annoying and I don't wear them for the dog walking anymore. I do wear them for just about everything else, though! Super comfy with zero break in time.
