Mostly what I didn't like about his shoe, the heel slipped off as I was walking. I had ordered size 8.5 and the 9.

These shoes are heavy, hoping for a supportive shoe to wear while traveling in Europe this spring.

I should have listened to the reviews that said these Keens were uncomfortable and plastic feeling...I was lured by the color!

This was to be my 4th pair of Presidios, probably 10th pair of Keens overall in the past 10 years (including hiking boots, sandals, etc.) and I was so excited to get the purple color. I always take size 10, and they always fit perfectly out of the box, totally comfortable immediately. So I was very, very disappointed to put these on and find that they were so... DIFFERENT. Just not at all comfortable, stiff and inflexible, with a weird bulge in the back of the heel that pressed on my heel. In desperation, I ordered a 10½ to compare (thank you, Zappos) but it was the same stiff fit, only larger -- including the uncomfortable heel. I couldn't see this shoe being comfortable for a full day's wear -- despite the fact that my Presidios have been for years my go-to shoe for long days on my feet, travel where I know I'll be walking miles, etc. With great sadness, I returned both pairs. Keen: please, PLEASE go back to the previous design of this shoe, and I will happily buy 5 pairs in different colors to last me the next 20 years. I love my old ones, and wear them everyday... now need to try to make them last as long as possible.

Unfortunately, Keens are too wide for me. They might have a negative heel which makes it very bad for planter fasciitis. Returning unfortunately.

I've been looking for something to support the bursitis in my heel, and my doctor suggests Keen. These are just too rigid overall for me. They do have a very wide toe box, and they have some cush but the shoe is too clunky to suit my needs.

I am 40 and work part time at a coffee shop. I purchased these shoes because I wanted support to minimize leg fatigue, hip pain, and back pain. In regards to this, these shoes work well, and clean easily. However, the shoes run wide and I am constantly tightening the laces. The arch support is only so-so. After wearing these shoes for a full shift I experience moderate pain near the base of my toes. This does not happen with any other shoes I wear. It is as if the shoes are redistributing some pressure towards the top of my foot. These shoes are O.K. for now, but I would not buy them again.

Wow. These shoes are not attractive! Comfy, yes. But they have a strange shape: narrow at the heel and very wide at the toe; almost pear-shaped.

So disappointed that Keen changed the style of this shoe. The last pair were the most comfortable shoes ever and I wore them out. They have changed the heel portion so it does not come up as high and hug the back of my ankle. Tried walking in the house with them hoping I would change my mind, but not so. Why do manufacturers feel they have to change the styles? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I have worn keen's for years, but it seems they have changed the foot bed and the arch is not as high as it was. I have an older pair and did some comparing. Very disappointing. I love the large toe box of keen's.
These used to have excellent arch support, but no more.

First time trying Keen Presido; unfortunately they did not work for me. Initially they felt good, but after wearing around the house for 6 hours, my feet ached. Arch support is very low and the lining irritated my ankles. During the night my feet cramped badly and felt very sore the next day. Had to return. Thanks Zappos for making returns easy!

I should have heeded some of the reviews. The heel is much too shallow. No matter how tight the shoelaces were tied, my ankle would slip and rub the back of the shoe when walking. Also, I expected a better quality insert for this price. But it is very flimsy. I am so disappointed in Keen. They are going back tomorrow.

I'm not sure about true to size as my last pair of shoes were NB, which apparently are usually a lot larger, and this shoe is a size smaller. I didn't buy these from Zappos because I assumed that I needed a wide size, and Keens are not available in wide (however, I did find these in a store in Milton-Freewater and was able to try on the shoes). However, my feelings about the shoe seem in the minority so I wonder if we have the same shoe! I like the Cascade brown color, but I wasn't sure about the black rubber around the toe. The back of the shoe is low so I can't wear both the super feet insert and regular insert without my heel slipping out of the shoe. I noticed that some of my foot pain (arch and bottom of the foot) is not aggravated by this shoe, but I've also noticed if I walk a lot I end up with a solid pain along the top of my foot through my ankle. The sole feels thin and non-supportive including the arch section but also somewhat hard. I find the Keen look ugly with the bulb shape at the toe, but I'm happy to have non-holy shoes! I've been desperate for a pair of shoes that are wide enough for my foot, and I assumed Keen had more support as a hiker-ish pseudo-outdoor shoe.

Keen is known for their wide toe box, and these shoes are great for that. Unfortunately, my heel is average to a tad narrow and was slipping out of the shoe as I walked. The lacing does not come up high enough for me to feel I can tighten then securely to prevent my foot from slipping forward. Sadly, they have to go back. Thanks, Zappos, for free shipping both ways!

This new design is not as well made as the previous. No more soft leather liner. Instead it's been replaced by a less soft mesh fabric. The laces are different and feel cheap. And once I put my orthotics in, the depth is shorter causing my heel to slip a bit. This was not the case with the previous version. One of the seams on the right shoe is bulky and irritating. Loosening the laces seems to help. This is why I love Zappos return policy...I can really test out the shoe in the comfort of my own home! On the plus side, I believe this version is lighter than the previous. I've owned three previous versions of the Keen Presidio. It was my favorite shoe and I wore them almost daily. Despite all this, I decided to keep the new version, because I love the style, and it's still better for my feet than other shoes I've tried. I am, however, not content, and plan to try other brands/shoes. Keen may lose a once loyal customer.

These fit very wide. I have worn Keen shoes and hiking boots for several years. I like that they fit wide. These seem a little wider than my usual purchases, though. You can easily wear thick socks with them and still have them feel roomy. I am a bit disappointed in the fact that the sole is very hard and stiff. I do not feel the same comfort that I get from my hiking shoes and boots.

I wear a size 8.5 and these were too large all over for me. The toe box is big, so my toes slide a lot in them. I even tried re-lacing them. I do like the blue color though. Sending them back.

Purchased a pair about 6 months ago, I'm a nurse and I wear the first pair almost every day. I wanted two more in different colors, but one pair was too large, so I had to return that pair. I wore the new ones the day I received them and just like the first pair my feet were very happy after 12 hours. Not sure if I want to down size the returned pair.

I wear Keen hiking/walking boots and wanted a more casual pair. For some reason, these just do not work for me. They have a much less sturdy sole and not as nice a footbed as my other Keens. They also feel tighter, though they are the same size. I may just go back to Merrell Jungle Mocs. have had foot surgery, so I have to have comfort. Many thanks to Zappos great service, which keeps making it possible for me to find the perfect pair of wide, supportive shoes!

I wear Keen's all the time, but these are a bit more clunky than I had hoped and the back of the heel is too wide so my foot is not secure in the shoe. Too bad!

Firm, balanced shoes that go from the office to the factory floor without issue. The arch, though, is virtually flat. I'd hoped for arch support similar to the Keen Voyagers, but no such luck. After adding a Naot footbed, I've now got rugged work shoes with supportive contours, but the combination was expensive to achieve.

I bought this shoe because I had purchased the previous year's model in February 2014. They made changes in the shoe that made it less comfortable for my particular foot. The previous model was slightly narrower and slightly higher on the foot, which made it able to tie more snugly. It was much more supportive for walking and hiking, which is what I hoped to use it for, as well as casual wear. Keen makes a great shoe, but I want my old Presidio back. I wish I'd bought 10 pairs of the old model! Keen, please bring them back they way they were!

I have had my original Keen Presidio shoes for the last 8 or 9 years and they were just starting to look worn so I thought I'd purchase a new pair. Upon receipt I was very disappointed to see that rather than having a leather interior, as my old ones do, they have a synthetic lining. I suppose it's better for Keen financially to have a synthetic, but I prefer leather so back they went. I was able to purchase the leather interior Presidio shoes elsewhere, but wish Zappos had them since I really like the service and reliability of Zappos.
