Toe box was too short otherwise they fit.

I lusted after this shoe for months. I love the reddish color and have two Brooks fabric sport shoes that fit well. The tongue of this shoe was stiff and overall, the fit felt that it would not be comfortable for talking. I am sad I could not keep these.

The shoe was very hard & stiff. Was expecting more comfort based on the reviews and my previous experience with Keen products. It looks nice but not the comfortable shoe I was hoping for.

The shoe didn’t feel comfortable

This shoe is very stiff; not flexible. More of a hiking shoe, I suppose. Not suitable fore me. I want comfortable & flexible. I practically live in sneakers, although I cannot find BROWN ones!

The fit was fine, but the insole was noticeably uncomfortable - no give and no support.

I think these shoes look better in the photos than in person. The weight, stiff leather were hard on my foot - it hurt to squeeze my foot into the shoe. Once my foot was in, the shoe was too loose in the heal and I felt my foot lift up. It’s a beautifully made shoe just not for me.

I really wanted this shoe to work, but it doesn’t work for my feet. The things I liked about this shoe were: the toe box is generous - wide enough and deep enough for my feet which are accustomed to Altra sneakers and classic Birkenstock Boston clogs and sandals. Plenty of room for my orthotic insoles too, all without looking as wide as my Altras and Birkenstocks. My problems with this shoe are similar to other commenters: the tongue is too long and too stiff and cuts into my ankle; the leather of the upper is very stiff and I can’t lace the shoe tight enough to keep my slightly smaller left foot secure. These shoes will be going back and I’ll have to keep looking for a black leather shoe that fits my feet. I subtracted 2 stars from my comfort score because there is just no excuse for the way the shoe's tongue is so uncomfortable.

I need a wide toe box with Morton’s Neuroma, but these were too wide. I couldn’t find socks thick enough. Back to looking for a comfortable brown leather shoe.

I have been a faithful Keen Presidio wearer for a few years now. This most recent pair is the same size/width as I normally buy, but it feels markedly wider and bigger. I'm sad because I love these shoes - but it seems like I need the model from last year vs. today.

This shoe is very comfortable for walking and standing. However, it’s worse than most for wearers with high insteps. Also have had serious problems with cold feet even while wearing them indoors. If you have hot feet, these shoes might be a good choice.

Keens tend to run small, so I sized up half a size and still didn't feel like I had quite enough length. The shoe is very stiff and not suited for a high instep. Quality appears to be good.

No arch support. Flat insert , no longer as thick or supportive.

These shoes are good looking, and the fit was perfect, I normally wear a 6.5 so they felt true to size. However, they were uncomfortable. They rubbed around my ankles. I had to return them and find a different shoe.

I have two older pair of Presidio shoes, and had high hopes for these to replace them. I ordered my usual size, 9.5, but sadly these don't fit my feet right--too small, too stiff, and the arch support isn't in the right place. Going up a size wouldn't help, so unfortunately these are going back.

I have tried it with different inserts but it is a stiff shoe and even with inserts it it so hard that my knees ache so much I have to take several days off -- just not the firmness I need. it makes other body parts out of alignment and causing too much stress on my knees. well made leather shoe.

I've been wearing Keen Presidio shoes for over three years. I have them in various colors. Sadly Keen has changed the construction of the Presidio. Instead of a cloth like material around the heel collar, they are now using leather. This causes the heel to slip with each step. Also, the shoes are now extremely stiff through the ball of the foot. I don't recall this being a problem with my other Presidio's. I did love the steel grey color and the shoes do still have plenty of room in the toe box. I had to return the shoes and I can't recommend purchasing Keen Presidio at this time.

I didn't like how big the toe box was. The shoe is extremely supportive and feels very stable on the foot but the toe box was just way out of proportion.

I have special orthotics that I need to find a shoe they will fit in.

I bought these because I love the big toe box but the heel cushion was anything but cushiony and hurt when I walked. I will be returning these.

WAaaay too wide.

The fit was very comfortable, with the exception of the shoe tongue. It came up high on the foot with a stiff material, which rubbed quite uncomfortably against where my foot meets my leg. So I had to return them.

I was looking for a walking shoe for travelling. The toe box is nice and roomy, but the shoe is too heavy overall, and wasn't comfortable on my feet.
