very hard foot bed - - my feet get sore after < 1 mile.

Changed the design. Now look like orthopedic shoes.

Every negative review about the comfort was true for me. I loved the style but the shoe was unbearable to wear.

Although I've been a fan of Keens for a long time I was very disappointed in these. I should have paid more attention to the photos. Nothing like my old Presidios. Ugly. More like orthopedic shoes with ugly laces and wide space above the tongue. Returning.

I was KEEN's fan for the long time till i"ve got my new shoes yesterday. To say they were uncomfortable say nothing. They are mizarable to wear, so stiff and hard, like they have been made from the wood. Lord have Mercy on this people who changed the most comfortable shoes in the world to make this Presidio. Good buy, KEEN! See you when you change things around and come back to the shoes people enjoyed before!

So, i have been wearing the presidio for several years now, and have a few pairs, and i just recently bought another pair only to find out they have changed!!! They have cut out a lot of the the leather and replaced it with a cheaper fabric. they dont fit the same anymore, they have lost arch support, and feel cheaper.

These shoes were quite a disappointment. I already have 2 pairs of Keen Presidio shoes from a few years back and expected these to be the same - they certainly are not. They are very stiff and clunky feeling on my feet, and even look clunkier than the previous versions. They are so stiff on the tops that I can't tighten them down at all with the laces. I feel like I am wearing wooden shoes with no way to adjust the fit. Not at all what I expected, especially having owned 2 pairs of the same style.

I purchased these shoes due to my love and devotion for my last pair of Presidios. Sadly, Keen has seen fit to update and "improve" this style. Their only achievement was ruining what was a great, super comfortable, stylish, casual sneaker. The new design is bulkier and has a thick sole that does not bend well with your feet. The shoe's tongue is also too long and poked into my ankle uncomfortably. All parts of the shoe just did not seem to move with my foot. This latest version of the Presidio was akin to Keen's hiking/climbing shoes, which are meant to be rugged and more sturdy than the great little sneaker/walking shoes I knew and loved. Bring back the true Predidio Keen!

Very stiff and bulky. Little or no cushioning or support. Love the style, but not comfortable at all.

I had high hopes for this shoe as I own many pairs of Keen sandals. I assumed that this closed toe shoe would feel as comfortable. I was so surprised when I opened the box. First, they are very unattractive, even for a sneaker type shoe. The shape of the toe area looked wide and flat. When I put them on they were as hard as a rock. There was no cushioning, no flexibility and really hurt my feet when trying to walk in them. I was so disappointed and very surprised. It will not stop me from buying Keen sandals; they are the best but these are going back.

First I want to say that I had to return the first pair I received because they were too large. Zappos was amazing! By far the easiest return I ever made. I have worn Keen shoes for quite awhile. These were the most uncomfortable. Disappointed because Keens really have been amazing shoes for me over the years. Went ahead and wore them thinking they would loosen up but havent as yet. Will continue shopping at Zappos. Don't know about Keen.

seemed wider than normal for Keen shoes

I have been wearing Presidio for several years. I have one of every color. I wear lots of purple to support my college team. I was so excited when I saw this purple Presidio. All of my Presidios are size 8.5. I have tried sizes 8.5, 9, and 9.5. None of them fit with my orthotic. So sad. I love this shoe...but not the fit.

Ohhh I am so disappointed with this shoe! I own a stand at a year-round indoor farmers' market, and am on my feet for 12+ hours three days a week. During the summer, I wear Keen Newports every day. When the weather cools down, I struggle to find shoes anywhere near as comfortable as the Newports. I hoped the Presidio would be the solution, but it is not to be. Immediately upon putting the shoes on, my feet started to hurt. It felt like they were rolling my feet inward, causing stress on my ankles. I ran down the stairs, and the tongues dug into my ankles. I left them on for about 15 minutes while I walked around the house, and was aware of how uncomfortable they were the whole time. This wasn't a "break in" issue -- the shoe just doesn't fit my needs. The insole is too hard and shaped wrong, the ankle and tongue too high, and the sole way way too squeaky. And to top it all off, they're much less attractive than I'd hoped. So, back they go, and the search continues...

This is my 2nd pair of keen waterproof shoes. The first pair were awesome, I could walk in the pouring rain and be entirely soaked, except my feet! My feet would stay dry! So when those wore out I ordered these and they were great over the summer until I went for my first rainy walk today, not even very rainy, more like mist. My feet got soaked! And the rest of me was pretty dry. I'll be returning these today.

This shoe is huge. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. Shoe is very stiff and did not provide the support I was looking for.

I was hoping for a good walking shoe for street walking. This shoe is very stiff. I wore it around the house for two days hoping it would loosen up but it just hurt my arch.

Once again I am disappointed in the support that is lacking in this shoe. I love Keen's sandals and hiking boots because they provide great support. This shoe, however, does not. Keen - bring back the shoes you used to make. Zappos as always is a great company to purchase from.

I wore these new shoes less than 1 week and a terrible squeak started in both shoes. Basically with each step there is a loud rubber squeaking sound, even if I am standing still and flex/bend the shoe it makes the sound - possibly some defect in how the sole is attached? I am very disappointed as I've had Keens for many years and never had this problem before. It's so loud I really can't wear them. Otherwise perfectly comfortable shoes.
