Great boot, fits well and is waterproof and comfortable. Excellent for any walking adventure or duty lightweight and durable, besides the blue and tan blend with anything.

Never have I been able to put a pair of shoes on and been able to wiggle my toes. The toe box is so roomy! These hiking boots are amazing. I had to buy a half size larger than what I normally wear (glad I read other reviewers before I purchased these!). I did buy them in wide even though my feet are only slightly wider than average. They are incredibly comfortable. I can walk and hike for long periods of time. I highly recommend them.

Orthotic friendly shoes. Wife uses as a work shoe in greenhouses and on the farm (very hard use, get a couple years out of them).

Although I've not had the opportunity to use these for hiking yet, I have worn the boots to do yard work and test them out. They feel true to size; however, I always order up one full size to accommodate socks. I have an issue with a bunion on one foot, so that boot was painful, and I will have to work with a boot fitter to resolve it. But no problems with the other foot; very comfortable fit. These are a good weight boot, look good, and fit good. I'm sure anyone without a major bunion would be pleased with this purchase.

These hiking boots are ultra comfortable. There did not seem to be a breaking in period - I just slipped them on and they felt great! I did order my regular size and half a size larger and both sizes fit fine. The half size larger however felt like I had a little more room in the toes on the downhill. I highly recommend this brand!

I hate shoes that confine my feet in any way, particularly ones that come up high on the top of my foot. That said, we were going on a 3-week National Park trip to Utah, and my son insisted I needed good hiking boots for traction and ankle support (broke ankle 10 yrs ago). Went with good reviews and chose this one, ordering half size up as suggested. GREAT boots! No break-in period. Lightweight and attractive for hiking boots. No ankle swelling or sore feet at end of day. No slipping on slick rock. SO HAPPY I ordered these boots and some good hiking socks from Zappos! Worth every penny!

I ordered a half size up, and I'm glad I did. These shoes were amazing for a long steep hiking trip with lots of rocky descents.

I love this shoe! Thank goodness there is a walking shoe available for women with a wide toe box - this is a real life saver (helping with metatarsal nerve damage from previous narrow toed shoes :( !)

These boots have a great foot bed. I have major foot issues and need real support. These have it. The first day I hiked in them my arches ached a bit because the insoles were a bit higher in the arches than I am used to, but after that they felt great. I love the weight and comfort. My feet are very happy in these great boots even after hiking 10 miles in a day in strenuous conditions.

I really wanted to like these boots, the colors are wonderful. However, they cause pronation (where your feet lean in towards each other). Darn it.

Still looking for a boot for my upcoming hiking trip. Sadly this one (#3) isn't it either. Thank you Zappos for making my search easier with your very generous return policy. Because I value reviews as I make a decision about what to buy, I will say that generally I love and trust Keen's. This one is a beautiful, but subtle color combo (soft green), but the ankle cuff doesn't hit me in the right spot and is a little stiffer than I'd like. It has a generous toe box in a size 8.5 (street shoe 7.5M). I ordered another style in an 8 but it was too small for socks. I have a bunion, and I felt this shoe would accommodate it.

I ordered this and the Keen Koven Mid WP. This is the more substantial of the two boots. It felt more padded and had better support for arch and ankle, but still has plenty of room in the toe box. I decided to keep this one. Koven might be better if you like a lighter feel and don't need the support. I usually wear either a 7.5 or 8. I ordered the 8 because I will wear it with thick socks.

Good boots, fit me well. I had a problem with my arches after I used these boots but it was because of the orthotics I put in not the boot. Love Keens!

I bought these boots for a trip to Costa Rica, where I would be doing heavy hiking in both dry and humid, muddy conditions. We were required to have leather boots to protect us from snake bites, and to wear snake chaps while hiking. I was so impressed with them. I wore them once before I left to break them in, and they were not uncomfortable at the first wear. I wore these boots every day for 12 days on my trip and only got one tiny blister. In the dry forest of Costa Rica, these boots allowed me to be on my feet for hours with minimal discomfort, and had great traction for intense hiking and climbing rocky trails. In the rainforest, I often found myself in ankle deep mud, and my feet stayed relatively dry! I would recommend these Keen boots to anyone doing moderate to heavy hiking in almost any condition! They were perfect for doing field research, comfortable, and I love the pink tongue.

I always like Keen, great support and true to size fit. Large toe box makes them extra comfy, even with bulky socks. Nice color combination.

I am a Keen believer! I own many different style keen shoes and hikers. My wonderful dog ate the tongue on my old hikers so I needed a new pair. The color is a bit flashy, but the shoe is great! I highly recommend this style of hiker to all!

YIKES! What happened Keen? I already own an older pair of these boots, and they have been incredible. Ordered this pair, like I did the older pair, 1/2 size larger... what I got was hard to believe. Must be at least a 9.5. There were two size stickers attached to this pair. The bottom sticker said size 9, and the top sticker was 10.5. These boots were NEITHER size. they feel like a 9.5 to me. Ordered a second pair and received them today. The left one fits perfect (10.5), and the right boot feels like it's an 11. Wow... will send back first pair, keep second pair until I get a THIRD pair to see if the sizing improves. So disappointed in Keen...this is a terrific hiker, but not worth this kind of hassle.

As a dedicated beach bum living on the beach facing a hiking trip I was not sure what to expect from hiking shoes. These shoes are a pleasant, comfortable, cool looking surprise. Won't take the place of my flip flops but will serve me well in the mountains.

I bought these 6 months ago in the Olive/Slate Rose and I love them. They are comfy, warm, dry, light weight, all you could ask for. They have held up well and I wear them almost daily. I bought a 39.5 since other reviewers said these run small, and the 39.5 was right for me (I usually wear 39). Oddly, I just ordered these in the new color Mineral Blue/Ceylon Yellow (which is a GREAT color) and the 39.5 is too big!! I tried lacing them up tightly but still my heel moves up and down. I put my old ones on and they fit perfectly; these are definitely larger than the other color I ordered 6 months ago. I have just placed an exchange for a size 39 and will report back.

These are my favorite hiking boots. I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5 in dress shoes and I bought these in a 10.5 for the extra room. (Probably could have done a size 10 but if I wear them in the summer, my feet swell so I like the extra room.) This is my third pair of Targhee II Mid boots and they hold up really well. I've hiked the Appalachian Trail in these (southern portions and up in NH/Maine) and they delivered - waterproof, good traction, so comfortable, extra space in the toe box, great lacing system. Keen also has great customer service. If you have a wider foot or want more wiggle room in the toes, this is the boot for you.

Got these based on the number of reviews and the high marks and it delivered! No breaking in - great support. Love. Definitely order a half size up just like everyone else says. The only think I wish Keen did was offer these in black or grey for women (hence the 4 stars for style).

I have older boots and they are 1 size larger than I usually get to compensate for the smaller size of this brand. I thought that because my boots were older that that is why I was slipping on ice. These boots are wonderful in cold weather but not on ice. I still like the overall fit. Please do something about the slippery when wet factor.

These boots continue to keep my feet dry and toasty! I got them last winter and love the comfort and traction. They fit my orthotics very well, don't even know they're in there!

I have plantar fasciitis so need solid arch support. I purchased these based on a customer review that said they have good arch support. I was very disappointed to learn that they have essentially NO arch support. That said, they fit well, and since I have to use special sole inserts in any event, I kept them. My first day out I walked 5 miles in them without any issues at all. They have held up through daily winter walks and have great traction on snow and ice.
