Once again size 8 is what I need in Keen to fit my usual size 7 foot. Great arch support as usual in Keen and truly a cute shoe. I don't hike, I walk around only, and have great difficulty in finding comfortable walking shoes that aren't canvas looking athletic shoes. I have wide front foot due to bunions, high arch and instep but not the highest out there. I have just gotten the Targhee II shoe and wanted to try the boot. The boot however is just enough too narrow on my right foot that I know it will not be comfortable with walking a lot. I like the 2" heel height in the Targhees because they work with the length I normally wear my flared street jeans. The brown color I ordered is beautiful, much more so than the pix shows it to be. It is a softer brown than the picture on Zappos, at least on my computer. I really do have praises for Keen -- BUT, why the too short shoe laces? The cute, colorful laces reallly add to the appearance of their shoes but I am barely able to tie any of mine! I know you hikers don't care as its total functionality for you--but these are my shopping and traveling jean and plaid shirt shoes.

Utah has some really great trails that require a hardier boot instead of just trail shoes. I love my Keens. They have great ankle support and they are comfortable for me. Any time we do a hard hike, these are my only heavier set of hiking boots

The material is a little more stiff than some of my other Keen boots, but still comfortable. These are waterproof which is nice for the occasional muddy puddle. Not ideal however for crossing a stream as the water can easily seep into the opening along the side of the tongue. Color is "okay" but looks a little worn after just a couple of days.

Great shoe! Perfect from the moment I put them on. Tried them out while camping this weekend and they were comfortable and provided great ankle support.

I ordered three different pairs of hiking boots after reading a lot of reviews. These were very comfortable. Ultimately I ended up returning and ended up with Merrill. Mostly because I found them for a better price or I'd have kept these.

These are great boots! No breaking in necessary! Wore them on a 5 mile ice hike second time wearing and were warm and comfortable.

Beautiful stunning colors and comfortable

Love these boots! So far have just worn them for errands and a short walk. With one pair of merino wool socks, they are comfortable. Roomy in the toe box. Make sure to go up in size. Thank you Zappo's, for letting me try a few pairs of boots til I got it right.

I usually wear a 9 in Keens, but reading the reviews I ordered a 9.5 and was glad I did because I needed the extra length in these boots. Great hiking boots, very comfortable and lightweight.

Finally found ones that fit! They are one FULL size bigger than normal. Have not yet gone on a hike but so far so good!

True to your size

Love these boots however the pair that was mailed to me has a defective piece of leather in the toe of the left boot. It was too big to ignore hence the reason I am returning them.

Excellent support for challenging hiking situations, and everyday wear. Very happy for a hike in the Algarves, Portugal.

Great looking shoe. Feels a bit too tight. My toes bump up against the end. Returning for a 1/2 size larger.

Great out of the box without breaking in. Did a couple of dog walks around the neighborhood before subjecting them to a 26 mile trek in the mountains over 2 days. No blisters or rubbing. Could have used a bit more cushioning in the foot bed, but I really can't complain much. I have flat feet and overpronate and the boot held up well for this. Very satisfied for the price.

I love Keen sandals so I thought I would give the boots a try too. These look and feel great. I am a 8 1/2 in shoes but always buy 1/2 size up for Keen and did so with these and they fit beautifully. Can’t wait to wear them this winter, so cute!

I ordered 1/2 size up (8.0)and thought it fit. Changed my mind and reordered a FULL size up and that was the right fit for me. Have hiked in the full size up and it was the right choice for me. I’m a true size 7.5 and the 8.5 was the best fit in this boot.

Can't recommend highly enough--love these. Soles provide great traction. I have an older pair I've worn for several years and it has held up well to five-mile-a-day walks. I walk through wet grass and walk in the rain and these shoes are waterproof. The toe box is wide and comfortable--I can get thicker wool socks easily inside when the weather is colder out. Buy half a size larger if you want to put an extra insole inside.

I have had these boots for 4 years and love them so much. I plan to order a second pair just like them. Someone recommended that I order them half size larger than normal, which worked out well.

I have finally retired my old Keen boots after 10+ years, and replaced with these. Straight away, they were as comfortable and supportive as the old pair. Hope they are still around next time I need to replace a pair . . .

My last pair of Keen hiking boots lasted 10 years before the soles “fell off” during a hike. They are very comfortable and have a nice thick sole to support a hike on rough terrain. Plenty of room in the toe box and the heel can be adjusted with a pull tab on the back and sides.

bought in january, writing this in april. i have worn these on most days since i purchased them and i LOVE them. Wide toe box, excellent arch support (and i have issues with arch pain after hours on my feet as a nurse), easy on and easy off, good grips, and snappy colors (gargoyle and caribbean blue). i am purchasing another pair as i have been wearing these for hiking and every day use, and i wold like a pair for indoor/everyday use in a different color. excellent value for the price.
