TERRIBLE tread! These are cute and comfy, so I thought they'd be okay hiking, but I could not stop sliding on wet rock. No one else that I was with had trouble, and my old boots never gave me trouble on the same trail. The tongue is also not wide enough to adequately cover your ankle. I'm so disappointed. I now have these boots and I'll never wear them again. I was shocked and very unnerved at how terrible the tread is on these boots.

I just got these boots and went for a 6 mile hike. Inside the metro station I was sliding on the wet floor. The grip was fine on a wet boardwalk, and fine on a little snow on a packed dirt trail. But yes, I'm not keeping them because it's ridiculous if I can't wear them to get to the trail head. Too bad, the fit was excellent with half size up!

Manufacturing Defects Galore - I am very sad. I purchased this boot for my wife for Christmas, but after 4 attempts to obtain a pair without manufacturing defects, we both gave up. She loved the look and with each order, one boot was fine. The boot without defects was very comfortable, but with each of the 4 orders, the 2nd boot had a serious defect - either the padding at the ankle was knotted (x2) or the footbed had a large lump in the heel (x2). We both love the other Keens we have and I purchased these in particular because the Keen footbed fits the shape of her foot very well. We are both terribly disappointed.

Love these!! My 2nd pair. Thrilled Keen hasn’t changed a thing. Fit and style just like my first pair. Can’t wait to wear them out, too!

Purchased for my wife’s Birthday. She wears a 7 1/2 shoe size. The 7 1/2 boot size was a perfect fit. These boots are true to size.

My wife wears a 7 1/2 shoe size. We first went one size up they were too big. Customer Support worked with us we returned the size 8 and the sent the size 71/2 they were a perfect fit.

First hikers I'd purchased in years, so this was the second pair of boot I'd tried out (returned the other pair). I've had them for about 4 months now. These boots are amazing. I find myself reaching for them nearly every time I go on a walk, do yard work, or need anything more than sandals. The broke-in easily. I wear them for a 2-3 mile walk most days of the week on a gravel trail. They are very comfortable. The generous (not narrow) toe box is perfect for my barefoot- and yoga-induced toe-spreading tendencies. I look forward to putting many more miles on these boots.

Very comfortable out of the box. Boot runs small. Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size bigger which was perfect.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland, in those long-ago days when it was safe to travel. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

Love Keens! I have the lower cut hikers, but needed something for the winter. These work well and feel as comfortable as the low cut hikers.

Wore them all day the first day, felt like i had them for years. Perfect!!

These are my favorite hiking shoes, I'm buying my second pair. They held up great but my feet seem to have grown as I've gotten older and I'm needing to go a size up on all my shoes.

I have had this same hiking boot for about 12 years. They are still in amazing shape. I love them so much that when I was shopping for a pair for my boyfriend and saw the same style as my old ones I wanted to get them right away. My old pair was an 8 so that is what I ordered. They seemed a little bigger that the other pair so I returned them for a 7-1/2. They fit great. It’s so easy to exchange shoes through Zappos. I love Keens and so happy to have found another pair.

Love these boots. This is my second pair and they are terrific. No problem hiking anywhere, comfortable, waterproof, great support.

I love these hiking boots! Keen has always fit my narrow foot well. Hiked the Pyrenees shortly after purchasing and no blisters or sore spots breaking them in. Very happy with them.

The boots are very nice but I highly suggest purchasing inserts/orthotics to replace the very thin and cheap inserts that come with the boot. Other than that, they are great! Very comfortable, don’t rub, and have great traction.

Highly recommend for flat footed people. This is the only hiking boot I have found that give good support for my foot with plenty of room in the toe box. I have tried many. just bought another Keen low cut hiking boot and it does not disappoint.
