These shoes are great - I found these shoes to run short. I ordered my usual 11 1/2 narrow but that was too short. 12 narrow works great. They were comfortable the first time I wore them. The liner on the right side of my little toe came loose and was quite painful since it rolled up when I put the shoe on... but I glued down without trouble and it's OK.

Comfortable, versatile shoe! I've lost count of how many Trotters' Liz shoes I've had over the last number of years - at least 5 in black, one in red, one in navy, and a champagne pair. This is a very comfortable, casual shoe and goes with slacks, skirts, and dresses. The woven leather molds to your feet with wear, increasing the comfort, and it comes in a wide variety of sizes and widths. With a narrow foot (8 1/2 AA), I hope this shoe is NEVER discontinued! (Please communicate this to Trotters!)

My all time favorite! This shoe is so comfortable. Many of my friend and co-workers now all look alike because we are wearing these shoes. I think they work for anyone who wants a comfortable shoe. Great for walking and working all day.

Finally! ! ! I was so discourage buying shoes. None of the shoe stores carry narrows. Finally a friend of mine suggested I try Zappos on line. I hesitated at first and actually bought two more pair of shoes in a department store and they were awful. I was disgusted and finally gave in and tried Zappos. My shoes were exactly what I hoped they would be. No surprises except for the fact they actually fit. For the first time in years I had a pair of shoes that felt create on my fee. Not only did they meet all my expectations, they arrived exactly when they were supposed to! I have nothing but praises for the shoes and for Zappos! Phyllis, Boston, Massachusetts

Liz Trotters - I have a narrow foot 6 AA and have great difficulty finding shoes that are made in my size and fit without extra pads. I have purchased this particular shoe twice before in the past 10 years in the light brown color and have found I could wear it as a comfortable casual shoe with dresses and slacks. I now have a balance issue and can't wear dressy heels like I did before, so I purchased the black shoe because it is very shiny and I can wear it as a dress shoe with pants. I was surprised to find it still available, as I really love this shoe!

Okay, I said I would report back with how the half size smaller worked out: I'm keeping it and sending the others back. HOWEVER, it occurred to me that I am probably ordering my normal size now that I lost all that weight, so I would say order your regular size, unless you're between sizes, then order down. You might need to put one of those peel-off suede inserts inside to keep your foot from slipping forward, but I didn't.

Nice Shoes! I am very pleased with these shoes. The leather is beautiful, they are very comfortable and the fit is true to size. I would recommend these shoes.

Always Reliable - I've been wearing a navy colored pair of these for 10+ years. I ordered a black pair from Zappos and found the shoe has changed very little in styling. I was able to put them on and GO! It's a great shoe and Zappos is a great place to shop.

Love it! As soon as I put this shoe on it was so comfortable and that rarely happens to me. I wear a 10N and they usually don’t fit somewhere. But these were perfect. They are also very nice looking shoes.

Trotters "Liz" Shoes - I have worn this shoe for years. I had surgery on my feet over 20 years ago, so I can only wear a certain style of shoe. These shoes offer plenty of support; they are nice looking, fit well and are very comfortable to me. Your service is wonderful. I order my shoes and receive them within a few days. Trotters Liz - I was very pleased with the overnight delivery of my order. The shoes fit perfectly and best of all no shipping charges either way, and no sales tax.

I love this shoe - This is the most comfortable shoe for bunions because of the give in the weave of the leather and it does not look distorted as it expands. I could wear it right away - and it is what spares me from bunion repair (surgery).

Max comfort - I have worn these shoes over a handful of times already and they were comfortable from the get-go. I have had no blisters, irritations or muscle soreness from ill-fitting shoes. I ordered 3 pair my last purchase and these are definitely my favorite.

Love Trotters - I have always found Trotters to be very comfortable - they are great with pants any time of year.

Too Small! I was very disappointed in this shoe--at least one size too small. I usually am a true size 11 and was baffled by this problem. I haven't tried Trotters in a long time and I'll be reluctant to again without fitting them first.

Love the Liz - I wear these shoes until they completely wear out. I buy them in every color they come in and walk not only around a courtroom (I'm a lawyer) but wear them to sporting events and just around town. I am very finicky about shoes and generally prefer flip-flops but this has become my standard go to shoe,

Needem in My Closet - This is about the 7th pair of Trotters Liz that I've had now. Counting the ones that I've worn out completely. They dress up or down, fit and wear well, and continue to please me. I'm ready for them to be made in "exotic" colors as well as the nice neutrals Trotters provides.

Happy surprise! I have looked for years for a good place to find casual narrow shoes. I just ordered this shoe in a 7.5 slim (3A). I got it the next day, which amazed me, and then I was so pleased with the quality and fit of the shoe! Thanks for the excellent service and the great quality. I will be ordering from you again.

Wear with everything - A real need for any wardrobe. This shoe is so comfortable from the word go and gets better with a little wear.

Smart but comfy - I was looking for a pair of shoes to replace my 3rd pair of Naturalizer loafers that have gone out of production. Something comfortable but "smart" looking so that they would be worn with slacks, jeans and skirts when sneakers and heels wouldn't do. These fill the bill.

Trotters Liz - I have only worn these around the house so far. They seem comfortable and I like the look that can be casual or more dressy. Not too many shoes made in 11 1/2. I don’t need the full size 12 which are more readily available.

Pretty shoe - Very nice looking shoe casual and yet can be dressy also. Comfort ok just felt a little bit narrower.
