This well-made shoe was comfortable with a slimmer look than most shoes like this. Unfortunately, I had to send mine back because the heel was too loose for me and slipped as I walked.

These were too narrow for me and seemed too short as well. I do like the velcro straps which make it easy to put on and take off, but I returned the item. I went by the size recommendation for another brand of shoe I usually wear. This guide is off.

COMFORT ALL DAY LONG

We got these for my mother while she was in a nursing home for rehab. The Velcro went over huge but she didn't find them comfortable as a pair of new balance Velcro shoes so these went back. It is my understanding that the new balance shoes were just a tich wider and had more cushioning.

I couldn't strap them tight enough to stay on. The foot bed felt wonderful but they kept sliding because of being a bit lose. I wasn't going for style, I needed comfort following knee surgery. If they weren't difficult to tighten the strap, I would have kept them.

Too narrow, the closure strips are too short

I have a pair of these in white that I bought about 5 or six years ago. They're showing a little wear so I bought these in black. Same exact model number, same exact size. But, like so much else, this pair is a little less wide, a little shorter, and a little less well made. Still, they fit well enough so I will keep them. Going a half size up would make the shoes too long for me. However, if they shrink again, I will quit buying Propet shoes.

I have gotten this brand of shoes before and as someone with very wide and deformed feet I like the fit. A tad narrower than stated but they are not broken in yet so I am very happy

Purchased for 95yo grandmother with poor circulation and frequent swelling in her feet. These fit well once adjusted, but they were surprisingly hard to get on for a velcro-type shoe (the tongue was hard to yank into the proper position against the stiff velcro, particularly for someone with limited mobility). We decided that it was actually easier for her to use a traditional lace-up shoe. These shoes have the distinct, almost juvenile, look of a typical velcro sport shoe. If you need a lightweight, adjustable velcro shoe that looks more like a shoe than a slipper, these are nice. We preferred the lifewalker to these.

The shoes look great and would be a less expensive version of the Hush Puppies I've loved for years, but the size I've always worn in HP's is too small in Propets.

These shoes are comfortable, but not as much as I had expected from the other reviews. I added a cushioned insert, which helped to make walking/standing for long periods more comfortable but made the fit a little tighter. The tongue is extra-puffy, so there is a squeak with each step as it rubs against the leather upper. The shoes were comfortable without a break-in period, and the velcro straps worked well for ease of getting through airport screening as well as keeping the shoes snugly on the foot all day. A good price for a decent (though not exceptional) shoe.

Bought these shoes a half size smaller than my regular size because of the reviews but the didn't feel big enough! Wish I had bought my regular size!

I bought this for my wife who wears an AFO inside the left shoe. She said the shoes have more support than previous pair (Sketchers). Personally, I feel that the heels should be more rigid. My wife likes these shoes enough that we bought a second pair for wearing outside the house.

I ordered this in a size 11, and it felt a bit tight in the toe box. I wish they came in a size 11.5. It's hard for people who wear size 11. (ATTENTION, Shoe Manufacturers: please be aware of this and offer more shoes in a size 11.5. You're ignoring a section of the marketplace that would love to spend their money with you!)

This is the first time I've tried Velcro closure shoes. They are harder to put on than I expected, because the Velcro flops over and catches while I'm trying to put on the shoes. But they are comfortable and have good support.

These are good shoes. The fit for size is as described. They need a bit more support on the sides.

This is so padded it is like walking on clouds! It does not seem to be great with bunions, even at EE width, but this may expand with wear because the shoe is not intrinsically too narrow at this width. My only complaint is the color - the picture suggests that one of the options is beige but it is actually the color of a dirty white sneaker - OK if you want a white shoe without the brightness but we really would have preferred beige for the fall.

I ordered these shoes for my mother-in-law who finds it difficult to tie shoes anymore. I usually get New Balance for her but I could not find the size and color needed this time. I ordered her normal 6½AA in the Propet, but her toe was all the way to the end. The shoes look well-made and comfortable so I will return them for a full size larger and see if that works. I compared the Propet to her New Balance in the same size, and the Propet is noticeably shorter and slightly narrower. I do love the beige color and traction of the sole.

I have a wide foot, and often buy men's tennis shoes because they fit me perfectly. The wide size in these fit me perfectly right out of the box, just like all the other women's wide Propet shoes I've purchased through Zappos. I was looking for a walking shoe that would be quick and easy to put on. These fit the bill. One thing I discovered, though, when I wore them all day was that they started becoming uncomfortable along the tops of my feet (in the arch area). Because of this, I'll have to wear thicker socks with them, which means they won't be as comfortable to wear in the summer. They'll still be great on cooler days, though.

The fit is great, maybe a tad loose in the heel, but, hey, when you have wide feet, well, that will happen. I bought them to walk on the treadmill in. I wish the soles were more padded -- they are quite hard, especially the heel. I think I will put a cushioned insole in them. Of course, the treadmill makes everything feel harder. I haven't worn them outside yet. They are much less pricey than similar New Balance shoes, but the NB shoes are much more cushioned.

Love the weight & looks of this shoe. I did not feel stable however walking in them. It did now feel that the sole was wide and flat enough. Also for me the narrow size was just a little too tight and was slightly uncomfortable yet the wide in same size slipped on my heel. I have worn Propet she's before and loved them, just not this style.

Comfortable, stylish, and easy to get in and out of. Feel I could wear to work or working out or both. Has a little bit of a heel height. Roomy for toes.

The shoes are comfortable but the style is not for me. The velcro are too stiff. Zappos service is unbelievably super fast!

The shoe runs long, at least for me. I have a short,very wide foot, high arch and have a lot of trouble finding 4E width shoes that are truly 4E. It appears Propet made the shoe longer so it would seem wider, both pairs I ordered were the same. Thankfully Zappos has free returns, so I will continue to order from them.

Comfy and fit well, pleased even bought in beige. Of course, not very sexy looking, makes the foot look large, however they are good walking shoes.
