Probably the most comfortable pair of walking shoes I've ever owned. Plenty of room in the toe-box and just super comfortable!

Excellent shoe choice for both my son and his dad. They wear these around town and walking the dogs in the snow, and they warm and have great tread. Typical wide fit that Keen provides is great, may be a little bit of a rub on the heel as it breaks in but I would highly recommend these.

I love Keen products, Love this shoe...Zappos is super easy to work with. I shall continue to purchase through Zappos.

I love these shoes. I owned a black pair a few years ago and wore them all the time, so I purchased the newbuck color. Great for midwest winter walking.

Wonderful shoe. I'm on my third pair of Portsmouth's because I've worn the other two out. I do wonder if the quality is up to the standard it was several years ago as the second pair seemed to wear out quicker than the first. But, I do put thousands of miles on these things and with them being so comfortable, I keep buying more.

These are hands down the best shoes I've ever owned, I have owned way too many! This is my third pair of the same shoe, yes, that's how good! Very comfortable, casual, and easy on the feet.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They have the best arch support of any shoe I have ever bought. I am on my 3rd pair. If you have to be on your feet much or have planters fasciitis - these are the answer! On a scale of 5 I would give them a 10 for comfort and support. I have 9 or 10 pairs of various Keens; they are my favorite shoes.

This is my sixth pair of Keens I have purchased from Zappos. Each time they were delivered in two or three days, on time. I work in landscaping and walk through morning dew and rain soaked grass and mud. They keep my feet dry and comfortable. They get a work out all year long and hold up very well.

Great looking shoe - not like everybody else's. Very comfortable shoe. Fits true to size. Good for those with wider feet. Keen is my favorite shoe company! Zappos is my favorite supplier!

one of the best shoes i have ever owned. especially because they fit my wide hard to fit foot so well. they are 100% waterproof! rain snow slush are no problem. also super easy to slip on and off if not tied too tight. great in the airport security shoe shuffle. all of this makes these the perfect travel shoes too. oh and they look great with jeans too.

The Portsmouth is a typical Keen, great shoe that's incredibly comfortable. Hours on your feet will feel great in this one. Great arch support keeps you going. Style is great as well - suede look and feel, but water resistant. I'd definitely buy it again.

Previously the most enjoyable shoes I have every had were a pair of Keen Sandals. When needing something more formal to wear to work I thought I would stick with Keen. These shoes are very comfortable and well made. They look a little left of center but maybe I am too. I am 46 years old and wear them to work and dinner three times a week and when not in these I am in my Keen sandals.

Keens are the best! I now have 4 different styles in my closet. Wear one of them everyday. The fit is great and they are the most comfortable shoes and sandals out there. Got them all from Zappos with no problems and best of all Great customer service. Thanks Zappos and thanks Keen!

I just received my "One year ago, you ordered the following product from Zappos.com" notice. I love this shoe and when it completely falls apart I intend to order another pair. This shoe turned me into a lifelong Keen fan and since that initial purchase; I've bought four other Keen shoe styles from Zappos. Based on my experience, Keen runs a 1/2 size smaller than my foot size. The one and only gripe about these shoes is the rubber toe to leather body seal...it failed within the first week of use. I should have returned the shoes for a replacement, but they were so comfortable I didn't want to be without them. I chose to repair the seal myself with barge cement. Others have posted the same seal failure complaint and I've seen the same issue on my friend's Portsmouth's (which he's owned for 5 years). It only happened on one of my shoes and didn't prevent me from wearing them every working day this past year (+/- 250 days in the construction industry). I did recently replace the insoles with Birkenstock's Birko-sport arch support which has probably added another year's worth of life to these shoes (the soles are are still in excellent condition despite daily abuse). This hybrid shoe (anyone reading this should really give the Birkenstock insert a try...) is the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and I look forward to putting them on every morning I go to work. I bought the Keen Portsmouth's because I am rough on the toes of my shoes, and I liked the look. Has sort of a euro-clog shape which I thought was unique. One never can tell exactly what the quality of construction is on shoes until you get them, but these are clearly put together nicely and will likely last a good long time. All in all a stylish, durable looking pair of shoes to kick around in. Looks great with jeans or a nice pair of khaki shorts (even with my legs, which look like they belong on a table or a chicken). Anyway, can't go wrong with these. Go Zappos!

These are now my favorite shoes of all time. I have very hard to fit feet. I have had a couple of foot surgeries and have a hard time finding shoes that don’t hurt after a short time. These shoes are fantastic and I can wear them all day without pain.

Shoes are awesome. Pretty sure Keen is the only brand of shoe I'll buy til I die or they go out of business.

I bought these shoes for a winter trip to London and Paris. Right out of the box, they fit really well and were totally true to size. They were remarkably comfortable for all day walking and museum visiting. They look good, provide solid support around your entire foot, and performed well in drizzle and light snow. I highly recommend these shoes.

The Keen Portsmouth is a great shoe! From past experience I know that Keen products are solid and the Portsmouth is no exception. The more I wear it the more I love it. I typically have a hard time finding shoes because a 13 in most brands is a little too small and I have to scrunch my toes. But then a 14 in most brands is too big. I think I really need a 13.5 but nobody makes a 13.5. With Keen, the 13 fits perfectly and it feels great!

Very comfortable shoe. The toe box is wide and allows the wide shape of my foot to sit comfortably in the shoe without any bunching up of the toes. Very cushioned inner soles.

Great shoes, super comfortable. I have wide feet and the width is perfect in these. We get a lot of snow, and these are great for the walk to work. I love the styling. The shipping was ultra quick. I ordered the shoes at 5:30p on a Wednesday and there shoes arrived the next afternoon.

Like the shoes but I would go with the Briggs if they had a bison color or Boston II if they had my size at the time.
