Beautiful Ugly - This is my second pair. The first tore in one of seams, the shoe were due for replacement anyway. They are a solid buy for in City or out.

Great looking! Great looking shoe. Very comfortable, lightweight and stylish. Unlike some of Keens other models which felt 1/2 to 1 too small, this one does seem to fit true to size. Very generous toe-box. I'll probably end up getting the other color, too.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They look good and broke in almost instantly. Only down side is the sole wore out quickly. I'm looking at getting another pair.

A bit large - Great looking shoes - and quite comfortable. BUT, they run about 1/2 size large, so I shoulda' ordered an 11-1/2 rather than a 12. Have to use insoles and heavy socks to keep them from slipping on my heels. I have the "same" shoe in the slip-on style and it runs more true to size.

Would buy again - My 1st pair of Keen shoes & I've been pleased. Very lightweight, fair price & so far very durable (9 months or so). I'm a teacher & spend much of each day on my feet. Will likely buy another pair of Keen's. (Owned Ecco, Seibel, NB, et al). Definitely worth a try from Zappos - couldn't be much easier than this.

Order half size larger - These shoes are great. I have had them for about 5 months. They look great and you can wear them all day. Only problem is. Keen shoes seem to run a half size smaller than I normally wear. Order a half size larger than normal and life in your Keen shoes should be good.

Keen on these shoes - These shoes fit the first day I wore them and I was comfortable in them all day. It must be because they are shaped like my foot, (I have a 3E) the D with fit. I have bought many shoes from Zappos, Always with great service and the shipping is on my doorstep in 2 or 3 days from the time I click the order button. We will see if they stand the test of time.

This pair is a replacement for an older pair that I considered the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. This new pair does not compare. They are uncomfortable even after a couple of weeks trying to break them. It seems as if the leather on the new pair is very stiff which contributes to making them uncomfortable.

This Keen was one of only two pairs that I could keep out of 6 pairs I tried on. This one is stiff and about a half size big, but fits well. The others all had sizing issues even though they were the same model I ordered last year in the same size.

My husband is a chef and bought these to work in the kitchen. He says they are really comfortable shoes but in a kitchen environment are still considerably slippery.

Pros and Cons - Pros: Good and unique looking shoe. Felt comfy enough right out of the box. Cons: NOT as comfy after spending time in them. Sole is hard, will go "click clack" as you walk on hard flooring. The piping trim on the earlier model didn't hold up. Verdict: I don't wear them anymore; I'm back to cushy walk DMX shoes.

Great shoe, but... I love these shoes except for one flaw. Regardless of what kind of socks I wear, my heels make a squeak noise on every step. They're so comfortable that I squeak around in them quite a bit.

These shoes were comfortable at the first wearing. Unlike most shoes, they are shaped like a human foot. They are clunky looking, but my teenage daughters approved of them. Too bad they started coming apart at the seams after a few months. They have either a design flaw or poor workmanship. I might buy Keens again, but not this model.

Love my first pair of these (several years ago), so figured this replacement pair would work as well. However, they don't breathe well at all, causing a lot of extra foot sweat (not usually a problem for me), and they took on a funky smell after only a few wears (also never a problem with my other shoes, including other Keens).

This is a second review (couldn't find how to edit reviews). I have had these shoes for over a year now. Just a few days ago I was talking about what a nice shoe this was. I had qualms, but overall I was happy. Today, as I sat in a meeting, I glanced down at my shoes and noticed that the leather on the right one was starting to...rip? It's like the top layer of the leather was coming apart near the crease where your toes bend. I thought that was lame, but then I looked at the sole. In the past I had noticed that after just a month or two the black part of the sole had started to wear away and showed some of the yellow part underneath. I didn't mind much, it's the bottom of a shoe. Who's going to notice? But after noticing the torn leather, I noticed that part of the sole had started to crack and wear through to the structure underneath. I'm starting to look for another pair of shoes. Are they good shoes? Sure. I'm just disappointed because I figured a nice pair of leather shoes would outlast some junky Adidas or Nikes. Based on the featured negative comment left by Anonymous (at the time of this review), they used to last much longer. I don't know if it's cutting corners to save money, something up with the supplier, or a random pair of bad shoes. I haven't written off Keen yet, but I'm also looking at other brands this next time around.

Horrible tread life - I really liked the style and fit of this shoe, but I'm extremely shocked by the poor quality of the tread of the shoe. I've had these shoes less than 2 months and I've worn through the tread of both shoes while wearing these shoes at my office desk.

Good fit and feel as expected from Keen. I've owned many pairs of Keen but was VERY disappointed that the rubber heel covering came unglued after only 6 months. I wouldn't recommend this style as it doesn't hold up well for the long haul.

Very comfortable, but very poor sole - wore out quickly and separated even quicker. Sent back to Keen who made it clear they didn't care. Temporary repair with Shoe Goo actually worked surprisingly well, especially since Keen said absolutely no way to repair. My first and last Keens!

This shoe SQUEAKS - Do not buy this shoe! I am a big Keen shoe fan (several pairs), but this shoe is the worst! Every part of the shoe squeaks! The rubber on the bottom squeaks. The padding inside squeaks against your socks (I know it sounds weird but it does!). This shoe will squeak wherever you walk and it's embarrassing! Go with the Bronx or Boston. Avoid this pair at all cost!
