I love these shoes - They were super comfortable and supportive right out of the box. I have worn them every day since I got them.

Cool and Hip - The most comfortable shoe that I ever owned in my entire life!!! After this one, I immediately bought 3 more pairs of Keens (other styles) - and they too feel the same for my feet!!!

Another great Keen shoe although it is a tad tight. I have other Keens, (size 13)which are not as snug as these.

I dressed up Keen - If you love your Keen sandals and shoes and want something a little bit dressier, these are awsome!

I Love these shoes - This is my 3rd pair of keen's. They're great! wide toe - durable - last forever. I cannot say enough.

Best Shoes Ever - First time Keen buyer, great shoes, very comfortable, great hiking, walking, shoe. True to size and width. Moderate arch support. I liked the Keen Portsmouth shoe so much I got a pair of Keen's Boston Chukka two weeks later because of the great fit. Can't go wrong, I am customer for life.

Keen Portsmouth - Excellent shoe. Have received numerous comments, all favorable. Highly recommend this Keen Footwear products in general and this shoe in particular.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn - The color was a little different than pictured on the website, but I like the actual color better anyway. The Portsmouth is extremely comfortable and light. At the end of the day, even if I've been out walking up and down the hills of Seattle, my feet don't feel hot, and my shoes don't feel tight. I really like wearing these shoes!

Third pair of these bad boys. Great shoe that wears well. I have bad feet, but Keen are so comfortable!

Great shoe. I bought it to replace my Jungle Mocs. This shoe is a little more rigid than the the Merrell, but that could be comparing apples to oranges. I wear these shoes at work and I'm on my feet often.

I was nervous about buying such a unique shoe, but I love them! They are rugged, yet look good with my khakis for casual office attire. Like others said, they seem to run large. I usually wear an 11, but the 10.5's are perfect. I took them as my only shoes for a trip to Germany and they were great, and so comfortable that I forgot I had them on. My feet had no fatigue after walking through miles of airports, long days walking through beautiful German villages and towns, and even some nice forest trails in Lower Saxony!

Very comfortable. Worn several times a week for a year or so now and the original laces didn't last long, and the soles have worn much more quickly than I would like. The shoes are very durable, though, and respond well to soap and water cleaning! Roomy: I found them closer to my true size than the usual Chinese product, which can often run a bit tight.

Excellent shoe, great for wet weather and yard/garden work. Weak point is the special laces - Keen has replacements but they tell me the greenish BISON color is not stocked - only the brown/black is stocked.

This shoes are stylish and super comfy! Good for work, good for play. The brown is a little bit tricky to find a matching belt though.

Great Shoe - I'm a cheapskate, so I really have a hard time paying more than $60 fore a pair of shoes. But after hearing from my fiancée how much she enjoyed her Keens, I decided to bite the bullet and buy this pair. I must say I am impressed! Very comfortable and stylish.

mjbcmt - Good but ran a little small.

This is my third pair of Keen Portsmouth. The first pair was of great quality and lasted me 4 years. Next pair they changed insole to one that makes foot slide in a shoe. Also seems started to fray after less then a year of moderate use. Third pair, Keen changed the outsole that got warned out after less then a year. Not happy with Keen Portsmouth anymore. It will be hard to find replacement as I really loved the style.

I bought a pair of Portsmouths in Fall 2008. At that time, the shoe was made with no lining at all (although I note that it is currently described as having a leather and synthetic liner) so they have always worn loosely and roughly. I would never wear them for an occasion when I had to walk far. Sometimes I put on an extra pair of thin socks (like hiking liners) to help compensate. Wish I had returned them. I own several other styles of Keens; these are the only ones I\'m lukewarm about.

I purchased this exact same shoe in October of 2011. They wore great and looked great for a long time. after about 1.5 years, I started spending more time on an active construction site where these shoes still worked great (good fit, decent tread, sturdy). Since the shoes were subject to a lot of dirt, construction debris, and dust, I continued to wear them through the remaining 1.5 year construction period. All together, I wore these shows daily for three years and they continued to serve their purpose and were comfortable. I have a pronation which causes some shoes to wear unevenly. I did not have that problem with these shoes. The construction project is complete and so I have purchased the exact same shoe and hoping to get another 3 years out of them. There's nothing better for the money and they look great for a causal work shoe, but can also handle a little snow / rougher terrain. I am not the type of person to buy the same article of clothing twice so the fact that I bought this show twice means a lot.

I recently bought my third pair. I wore out the first, and am tired of only having one pair to wear every other day. These are stylish enough for general wear, rugged enough for any walk, and wear well. With the exception of the laces, you will need to replace them before the shoe wears out.

Great shoes...great value...great service...who could ask for anything more?! I am retired now, having owned a few successful companies of my own; but I would jump back into the work-world to be involved with Zappos..."best of breed" people and obviously, leadership. My congrats!

These are my first Keens ever, and let me tell you...they are worth it. I am flat footed, and I am on my feet a lot during the day. I come home from work and my feet hurt really bad. The support in these shoes alleviate that. They are tough and rugged, yet sharp looking as well.

Bought these for my husband for a trip to Scotland. They were comfortable right out of the box and he decided that he would bring only one pair of shoes. We did miles and miles of walking -- cobblestone streets, castles, cathedrals, museums and he was completely happy with the shoes. They look great on him. FYI I brought only 1 pair of shoes on the trip as well, Keen Toyahs. No blisters -- happy walking!

This is my second pair of the Portsmouth shoe. First pair purchased in 2007 for a trip to India - then seven years of home-based walking. Yes, the toe box is wide. Since a "wide" width isn't available, fortunately, the normal shoe is wide enough. Really haven t needed much break in. Ordered my usual size (10). Nice to go anywhere and the waterproof treads keep my feet dry and sure-footed.
