Nice shoes. The edging doesn't peel or split like the last Vans shoes I bought. Guess they improved their production. Great shoe for the price!

The shoe looked great just like expected but it was much more loose than anticipated. It works best with socks but I didn't want to have to wear them with it. Maybe VANS should get into half sizes for the bigfooted among us. Size 15!

I have a very high arch so tend to stay with laces, but I'm lazy enough to look around. It took me forever to get them on, but the length was fine. I want something to just jump into and run quick errands and I thought these would fit the bill, plus the solid black looks sharp. They were very comfortable once on. I can tell already that they will stretch, especially after spritzing with water and sticking baseballs in to help. I'm hoping I can get them on with socks soon. So if you have a high arch, I think that you will be able to make them work. Warning though, if you have pets, you will get the usual fur covered tops you get with everything else ! Never get a break with pet hair, but they are worth it (the pets).

Great classic Van's! The color is exactly as it shows in the picture. My son is thrilled with them. Fits true to size for him...his foot is an 8 and that is what I ordered.

I ordered two pairs of these to try the sizes. I opted to keep the smaller pair so they would fit snugly without any play; some slip-ons will loosen in and then slide around on your feet. But the sizing is pretty accurate - so order the size you already wear. There is a seam right on the heal of these shoes that I had to "wear in". I'd recommend wearing these shoes in the evenings only for the first week to break them in if yours irritate your heel. I get compliments on them quite a bit. I'd recommend wearing them with a down vest and a long sleeve flannel shirt and jeans in the early fall before the snow. Women have literally thrown themselves at me when I'm strutting this secret weapon.

Have used this shoe for work and casual for years. I work 38-60 hours a week depending on the time of the year and I walk/bike to work so I'm on my feet a lot. Go through 2 pairs a year. To me that's a great deal. My girlfriend says I have flat feet and that's why I like them. I used to swap between chucks and slip on vans and while i still do sometimes these are my clear cut favorites. Love buying from zappos too. Easy and super quick free shipping!

I totally love these shoes for comfort and convenience. In my opinion, they have a nice appearance for casual looks, too. The only suggestion I would make is that if you are going to be standing on a hard surface or walking a long way, then an insole will be a good idea, since this is designed to be a lightweight, thin soled shoe.

I live overseas, coming back to the states twice a year. Each time I order a fresh pair of Van's Slip-Ons to be waiting for me upon my arrival. I simply love these shoes, and expect to be wearing them for the rest of my days. They are wonderfully comfortable right out of the box, and typically don't cause blisters with during the first few days of wear. The only drawback to the Slip-Ons is that they tend to wear quickly and can get a bit smelly for no-socks types. The solution here is to just buy a new pair, and enjoy the fresh out of the box experience all over again. As per Zappos service, what can I say? It's never anything but satisfying.

As the name says, these are the classic vans. They were a bit tight at first but after wearing them for a week or so, they've broken in nicely. If you decide to wear them without socks the back tends to rub against your heel. Overall a great everyday or casual work shoe, once they're broken in.

This was one of my first purchases and from Zappos. I ordered this shoe along with 7 other clothing items on Saturday about 12:00pm EDT. The whole order showed up at my front door on Monday at about 1:30pm. I wasn't expecting to get the order until the next day, Tuesday, since I placed it on a Saturday. Needless to say I was quite impressed with the service and shipping as well as there being no charge for the shipping. The shoe(s) is fantastic! These were made famous while I was in high school in the mid 80 's by the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Spicolli's black & white version of the shoe. I love the red & black as well as the quality and fit of the shoe. It 's a great, comfortable slip on canvas shoe you can wear socks with or w/out. A tad stiff for the first day so far but I know they will loosen up as they are worn because I had the b&w version in high school and it seems as if Vans has not changed a thing in 29 years. After ordering these I placed a 2nd order the same day for the black & dark grey checker board pattern which are due to come in today. They were also on sale too but I would have gladly paid full price! Shoe's are highly recommended but I would order a half size larger if you're not positive your regular size will fit perfectly as they can be a little snug and require a shoe horn until they get loosened up a bit. My first experience with Zappo's and I am blown away with their selection of item's, the service and the nice surprise of getting the biggest order earlier than expected. I actually placed three order's Saturday because I kept finding something else I wanted after submitting each order. I can see that a lot of my money will be going their way in the future as long as they continue to operate the way are currently. They also have a 365 day return policy which is unheard of these days so you can 't go wrong. I am very, very pleased with my initial shopping experience! Don't change a thing Zappos!

I love these shoes! The fit is perfect and they are so comfortable. The pink soles are also fun. I wish the other Core Classics shoes had colored soles as well! If you are hesitant about buying shoes from any site other than the Vans site, don't be. The quality and sizing on Zappos is spot-on. In fact, I bought another pair of Vans at a Vans outlet store instead of on this website and the sizing was weird. I saved a little money, but I compromised a perfect fit. Never again! I ordered these shoes in the wrong size and customer service did a flawless, quick exchange. I got the right size within two days. Best customer service ever!

My child wanted these in both red and black; some days he feels the need to wear one of each! Loves them.

I tried on three other canvas shoes and these were by far the best. Very sturdy, not flimsy like some canvas shoes. The fit was right on - I wondered about that since these are both men's and women's shoes. Style-wise very versatile and mostly casual. I don't dress up a lot. They are perfect. Highly recommend. Am planning on getting more colors!

Service from Zappos was excellent. First pair was too big, returned them and second pair fit well!

Overall the shoes are pretty good. They do feel a little larger than the indicated size. I normally wear a 13 but feel like I could have gotten a 12 in these. It's not a big enough issue to make them uncomfortable while wearing them for long periods, however. I'll probably buy some inserts for them which should help that a little.

A great shoe, perfect for casual wear and can work with jeans, khaki's, and shorts. A must have for any dude looking to bring some style to their casual wardrobe.

I'm not a brand loyal person to start off. In the past I've purchased inexpensive slip-on shoes from the usual locations (Forever 21 Men, Cotton On) - however, they wouldn't last and were poor quality, which I guess explains their low cost. These slip-ons are comfortable, and they give good overall support. The price is on par with every other venue; however, I have been searching for these blue slips on in stores and couldn't find them which is why I think Zappos is great because you have access to different styles. If you can try them on in the store to get a feel for how they fit, then go online and pick from the many assortment of designs they offer.

Great basic shoe. Looks great and very comfortable, pretty much a classic. I may buy it in another color.

I've never looked into getting shoes with white trimming on the bottom but thought I gave it a try. I'm already a fan of Vans Slip-on classics and I'm happy I got the black with the white trim. They look awesome for a casual-weekend look.

I bought these so I can paint a custom design on them. Great shoes to do so. I personally suggest buying half a size smaller.

Great looking shoe, pretty comfortable, but make sure if you're between sizes to get the smaller shoe. I'm sometimes an 11 and sometimes at 10 1/2 and the 11 is a little large. Because its a slip-on, the looseness causes the back of the shoe to rub my heel.

I purchased these for my husband. He loves them. They fit him well and have become his go-to casual shoe.

These are not the classic Vans that we knew and loved back in the day. You can definitely feel the difference. They just are not made like they used to be. You feel the stitching at the top of your foot because it stops on both sides. They do not have that soft feel like they used to have. Worth the money? I do not know - probably not.
