I can walk without pain! I have been diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma, a painful nerve condition caused for me by too many miles of rollerblading in too narrow skates. The Brooks Addictions came in a wide enough size (4E) and with high enough volume to allow for an orthotic. I was skeptical that this simple approach would work, but it has! I do a lot of walking and there is little to no pain. In regard to the look, they are fine. I can get away with them at work even when dressed up. If I had my 'druthers, I'd wear a differnt style, but this is a minor inconvenience to be able to walk without pain again.

Brooks Addiction Walter - This is a great shoe. It is second only to the Brooks Synergy 2 in comfort, and I can wear it all day. Great in wet weather, but also breathable in summer. I have a second pair in another color so I can wear them more often. The brown is a very good color, subtle and not gaudy. This is a great shoe for traveling, too, for complete comfort and support in all sorts of weather. I have a narrow foot, and the narrow width feels just right. Zappos' service is the best.

The Addiction Walker Review- I have severe arthritis in my feet. First shoe I've worn in years at work and feel no foot pain all day! Highly recommended.

Comfortable shoe for wide widths- More comfortable than other wide-with walkers, including New Balance. I use the brown and black as my work shoes. I own a janitorial business and they are great if you are on your feet all day. The only problem I have is the availability of this shoe in white. They are always out of stock.

Great Walkers - These shoes are great. My son is in the high school marching band and needs especially good shoes. These hit the mark. He wears a 15 EEEE so he's very hard to fit. He's extremly happy with these.

Great shoe! This is my second pair of this style of Brooks shoes. If you have problem feet (mine are very wide with bunions and hammertoes) I highly recommend this shoe. They're great if you are on your feet a lot at work. These shoes are literally the only shoes I can wear until I have foot surgery. Thanks to Zappo's great service, I received these shoes within one day of placing my order.

Comfort - Brooks are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.

Just what the podiatrist ordered - This is a good shoe for those of us who do a lot walking or standing for long periods of time.

Happy Feet - This pair of Brooks shoes is my third pair I have purchased. Since I am on my feet 8-15 hours a day on a concrete surface, foot support and comfort rank very high in my priorities. Footsaver - This is the second pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers I have ordered from Zappos. I have narrow, flat feet. These are the first shoes I have ever owned that fit properly and support my feet all day, even on concrete. I can't say enough about the improvement in my foot pain. I will always keep a pair of these in reserve. As always, Zappos comes through. Their fast service, and great prices make shoe shopping a joy. Zappos solves the problem of finding a 13B shoe the easy way. I will never buy shoes the old fashioned way again.

Extremely pleased - I bought 3 pairs of shoes recently trying to find a pair that didn't hurt my feet after 3 hours of walking. These Brooks shoes are the best shoes I have had in 15 years!!!!

Wonderful walking shoes! I'm a first-timer with both Brooks and the Addiction Walker model! I'm hooked; great looks, plenty of support for my flat feet and lots of room for my orthodics. They fit true to size, look great and I had no pain in my feet or legs. I will be back for more, again and again.

Fit Good, Some Squeak so far. The Brooks Addiction Walker feels good immediately on your feet. There is some squeaking in the genuine upper leather that some mink oil or leather conditioner may take out. Still not enough noise to keep me from wearing them.

The shoes fit me fine and are serviceable. But I find that they look like old lady orthopedic shoes and completely lack style. They also have a stiff feel and do not have adequate cushioning for my taste. I am keeping them because I am very hard to fit, and they do fit.

Great 'standing' shoe - I'm a heavy 21-year old with an overnight retail job. I'm on my feet 7+ hours a night several times a week. I was having trouble finding a shoe that could keep my feet from hurting through that span of time, and after going through all my other sneakers with various inserts, I tried ordering a pair of walking shoes. These had great reviews so I tried them. I can stand and walk comfortably in them for my whole 8-hour shift, and will probably order at least one other pair before these wear out.

Excellent shoe, able to put them on and walk all day.

Brooks's Addiction Walker - I have badly pronated ankles with flat arches. These work great with my prescription orthotics, by just removing the insoles. They tilt my foot outward and are helping relieve my fasciitis, and greatly improve the profile of my ankles. The soles/structure of these seems to be much more durable and supportive than (several) other shoes I have tried. I highly recommend if you have flat feet and or pronated ankles. Zappos customer service is GREAT! thanks!

I recently purchased two pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers, a pair for my husband and a pair for myself. I did not like the fit for my foot and returned my pair. However, my husband who has serious problems with his feet and ankle and has a difficult time finding a proper fitting shoe, just loves them. He has been wearing them all day and his feet have not hurt. He wants me to order another pair in a different color. This is a first.

Pretty good, but I would go with New Balance next time - These shoes are comfortable enough and haven't taken too long to "break in". On a style level the toe is a bit more pointed than I had gathered from the photos and I prefer my worn out Rockports to these. Good support, but I think I'll do New Balance (my x-trainers) next time.

Great Walking Shoe - I find this shoe to be very confortable and gives me a feel of good stability. Don't sell yourself short, when it comes time to getting a good pair of shoes.

Brooks Addiction Walker - Extremely comfortable, well cushioned footbed, great arch support, good lateral stability...a fantastic work shoe for anyone who is on their feet all day and does a lot of walking (and can get away with wearing a sneaker)!

Best shoe ever !!!! From the day I put these on for work I've been in awe!!! I have owned at least 50 pairs of work shoes and have never felt this great in them! I am 6'3" and weigh 275 lbs. and these shoes make me feel light! I used to dread putting on my shoes in the morning but not any more!!

Incredible - The customer ratings and reviews are really user friendly. These shoes don't look that impressive but the comfort and performance are outstanding! I work on hard cement floors at both my jobs and these shoes are amazing. I highly recommend them.
