A well-fitting shoe - I have a hard-to-fit size. I am very limited in what I can buy. This is the first time I was able to get a shoe with a "spring in the step technology." It fits true to traditional American sizes. Normally, I break the shoe in for a few weeks before I wear it all day. I did not need to do this. It was very comfortable from day one.

Most Comfortable Shoe I Ever Owned - My job requires I run around a great deal on hard floors. Nothing improves your day like a pair of happy feet. AT 6'4" and 230 lbs. my feet take a beating but these shoes can shoulder the load. Not the prettiest shoe made, but the most comfortable. I will buy another pair when these are worn out. 1 day delivery from Zappos. 2 thumbs up!

Expensive but worth the price - Although these are more expensive than the New Balance model that I have been wearing I feel they are worth the cost. They were comfortable from the first minute and the best feature is the oversize sole, especially around the heel, which gives an extra measure of stability when walking. If these last well I will definitely be back for another pair.

Unbelievable Service - I ordered a pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers on 3/24/05 at 9:22 PM, order confirmation sent 12:36 AM (approx. 3 hrs) and the shoes arrived at my door at 2:00 PM on the 25th. From order to my feet in about 17 hours. That is service! I can't mail across town that quickly. The shoes felt great although I have not had a chance to really put them to the test as yet. Width felt a little snug but am sure they will give some in wear. Soft enough that a "break-in" does not seem needed. Great shoes! Great service!

Brook's Addiction walker - Very comfortable, feel good after a 9 hr day standing.

Very comfortable - This is the second pair of Brook's Addiction Walkers I've purchase for my husband. (I believe this pair is a newer version of the first pair I bought.) My husband loves these shoes. There is no breaking in period. He's on his feet all day and finds these very comfortable. Our family has purchased several pair of shoes from Zappos and never had a problem. They provide great service, prompt delivery and great prices.

Brooks Addiction Walker - I bought this shoe for my husband who is on his feet all day on a concrete floor. He says the shoe is very comfortable. He has a wide foot and has bought New Balance in the past for the comfort & width, but he says this is better/ wider. I ordered his usual size, 12 EEEE, but had to return it for a 13 EEEE. A 12.5 might have fit but was not available. With the size 13 he can wear better socks (more cushy). Overall an excellent shoe.

Brooks's Addiction Walker - The shoes are great. They run true to size. If you wear a 10 buy a 10.

My wife has told me over and over how important it is to have good shoes when you work on your feet all day. She ordered me the Brooks Addiction Walker and it is by for the best shoe I have worked in, I do machine repair and I am walking from one end of the shop to the other all day on cement floors. I had her order me 2 more pairs.

Finally, fit is found with Brooks. A great walking shoe. I stand, walk and run on concrete floors all day. Very comfortable and they fit!

Very pleased!! I ordered these for my son to start a new job. He is a very big boy, over 325 #( size 11EEEE). Has lots of trouble with feet and ankles. He says these are the most comfortable he has ever worn. Feet not sore when he gets home. Much better than the newbalance he's always worn. Fit true to size. Great shoe. I know we will be buying more.

Compares favorably to New Balance 925 - I like the New Balance 925 for its stability, and this is just as stable, if not more so. I find this leather construction easier to wear than the leather 925. I'd like to see the Brooks in a nubuck, or in other colors. I am a woman who wears a men's size 7 for the added width. I was disappointed to find that other Brooks styles are not available in a men's 7.

Looks & Feels great !! I am very impressed with the Brooks Addiction Walker shoe. In the past I have had problems finding comfortable shoes that fit correctly because of my narrow & flat feet. The Brooks Addiction Walker addressed all these problems with flying colors. I work 2 jobs and I am constantly on my feet on pavement, these shoes are light, comfortable, and prevent foot fatigue. I plan on purchasing another pair soon.

All around good shoe - Comfortable, good support, good looking casual shoe.

Great New Addiction - The New Model of Brook's Addiction Walker is better looking, has a better insole, and new additions that make the shoe excellent for those of us who need a Comfortable shoe to wear while wearing slacks and tie. I have had Plantar Faciitis for 3 years and these shoes take my orthitic very well, stabalize my gait and are Much more appropriate than the earlier model. I also Like the 925 New Balance but these Addictions are more supportive and Look more appropriate for the work-a-day world. The service (and Price) from ZAPPO's Is better than any I have come in contact with and will purchase another pair in the near future to trade out every other day...Thanks Zappo's - VERY pleased. Very Comfortable - Have been wearing New Balance but didn't want to pay $120 and had trouble getting them consistently. These were priced right and are even more comfortable. The rollbar seems more stable than the NB that I currenlty have. I have a EE foot and find it hard to find a true fitted shoe. This fits perfect.

The Pain is Gone - After being behind a desk for twenty-five years I found myself in a job where I walked ten fast miles per day on concrete. I tried several different brands of shoes all with disasterous results. I actually did not know if I could continue my work. Zappos work with me through the trial and error until I arrived at the Addiction Walker. After just a few days wear my feet healed up and I have no pain at all. I am grateful for these shoes and for Zappos. Their customer service is second to none and the fact that there are no shipping charges let me find a shoe that works for me without it costing me a fortune. Great with the correct size. Work 12hrs on my feet at a time and no pair of shoes have been as good as the Brooks Addiction Walkers. It feels as if the help propell my feet as I walk. My Plantar Faciitis (not sure if spelled correctly) is finally starting to heal since I got these. In fact, my off duty shoes (Avia Cross-trainers) aren't as good. Big note, though: I had to get one-half size larger pair. Well worth the money!

Brooks Addiction Walker - One of the most comfortable walking shoes I ever owned. Great for wide feet and high arches. Very comfortable insole. I were these all day long and they give me painfree walking.
