Over-Pronator Perfection - I am on my feet in my teaching job for most of an eight hour work-day. Over the past 20 years I have had a variety of foot ailments including plantar fasciitis, aching arches and neuroma. Looking for relief for my battered dogs, I have tried countless shoes, orthopedic inserts, cortisone shots, podiatrist prescriptions and exercises. In the last couple of years I experienced painful, at times crippling bursitis in my right hip. A salesman at a running store watched me walk across the room, enlightened me about my overpronation and recommended Brooks Omni running shoe designed to control that problem. In two days my bursitis had subsided. I wore them despite some minor discomfort and experienced a return of bursitis in one day away from them. I discovered the Addiction Walkers in an extensive online search. They felt great when I took my first steps in them, and during the past month I have had the pleasure of total freedom from any foot ailments. My search has ended. At the end of my work day my feet feel great, and as an added bonus they look good enough to wear for dress shoes!

Talk about a cake walk.....wow - Check this out... I live in NYC concrete asphalt all over the place. When I get home my feet look like swollen Italian sweet sausages. When I placed the order for these babies I had no freakin' idea they were so comfy. I am a big guy 400 lbs 6 ft and let me tell you I destroy sneakers and shoes if they are cheaply made. I must say these addiction walkers have surpassed my expectations and I am going give them 10 stars. Hey I’m done.. Stick a fork in me!

Great Shoe - The shoe was comfortable the first time I put it on. No break in time--comfortable from the first wear. I'm on my feet most of the day. These shoes keep my feet feeling good.

Great comfort and support - No break in period at all. Very comfortable and plenty of support. I do not like to shop especially because of all the standing around. Found that a couple of hours of it did not bother me in these shoes. Because of my very high arch, I do not lace all the way up, but they still fit fine.

Brooks shoes - My recent order of Brooks addiction walkers have a good fit and I am pleased with the service I've received from Zappos. Zappos has been patient with me in finding a pair of shoes that would work for me. I have to have them built up and also wear a brace inside one of them. I do appreciate their patience and professionalism. I will buy shoes in the future from Zappos. Also will recommend them to others, meaning Zappos. Again thank you.

Great shoe - Ordering my second pair of the Brooks' Addiction Walker. I'm on my feet a lot at my job, so I needed a very comfortable shoe that didn't look like a sneaker. These were wonderful, and extremely comfortable. Lasted longer than any other pair of shoes I've had too. I was so impressed with them, I didn't even try to browse another shoe once I found Zappos still had my size. You really can't go wrong with these, and even if you hate them, it's free to ship them back, so what are you waiting for?

Great Shoes - I highly recommend these shoes to anyone. You will not find a more comfortable shoe.

Standing tall and comfortable - I am an artist and spend hours standing at my easel painting. I have a very high instep and needed a pair of shoes that would give me long range support. When the Brooks Walkers arrived and I put them on, they felt like they were custom made for my feet. Great true sizes, good support, good functional design. I would recommend and buy these shoes again.

Feels great all day - I found this shoe to be great for hiking and around town. I have very sensitive feet and these were very kind even throughout the day. I'll look for this brand in the future.

The Addiction Walker is Addictive - This is my husbands third or fourth pair of the Brooks Addiction Walker. He gives them very hard use, wearing them all day every day on cement, in the dirt and mud and in cattle barns. His feet are very bad and he has trouble finding a shoe he can wear comfortably. These have been perfect for him.

Most comfortable shoes I ever had, but certainly not the best looking. The leather gets worn looking after awhile, and in white they look HUGE--since I wear size 15, people point at my feet, laugh, and usually make some comment about boats or canoes. I just smile and don't care since they feel so darn good on my feet.

Great shoe! 2nd pair ordered. Had these for 3 years. Bought them for casual wear, but shifted them for work wear as I had a foot fracture. I’m on my feet all day and the best I can say is I forget they are there, which means they fit like a glove and I feel no pain.

Great Shoes!! Zappos is great! I have worn 8's all my life to compensate for my wide foot. Zappos carries all my 7.5 4E shoes. In the past I had purchased 2E widths, but this time I tried 4E. This shoe doesn't try to roll over the outside edge. Perfect width and length! My wife says it looks like an "Old Man" walking shoe. I don't care, since it is a comfortable white walking shoe.

I Love My Brooks Addiction Walkers - These shoes are great! They felt great right out of the box! I work in a factory, with concrete floors. I've tried many different brands of shoes, but none can compare to the BAW's. I've paid a lot for a pair of shoes. The lesser price I paid for the BAW's is well worth the money. Zappos is so easy to deal with. Shipping is fast! With their free shipping both ways, it’s cheaper than driving. You don't have to leave the house. I'm very satisfied with Zappos!

Difficult feet find comfort...FINALLY!! My 6'6" husband has a big problem with his feet. He needs extreme arch support, heel support, cushion and comfort. He has already broken both feet just above his toes, simply from walking not from any injuries. Cushion and support are both a demand for him. This was impossible to find in a shoe until I found Brook's Addiction Walker! He still needs his Spenco 3/4 insert for some extra arch support but otherwise these shoes are the best he's ever tried...and he's tried New Balance, Reebok, etc...Thank you Zappos for helping me help my husband.

Best shoes I've had in years! I have worn these shoes for several weeks. They are very soft, very comfortable, very supportive. I alternate with shoes having custom orthotics (due to plantar fasciitis) that cost more than these Brooks. These shoes make my feet much better. My feet are quite wide and I am pleased to find them. I am going to order a second pair soon.

It’s worth buying - My husband has been wearing the shoes ever since I bought them. They are very comfortable shoe. They fit great and look great on. They are a very excellent shoe if you stand all day like my husband does.

These aren't just for walking - The Brooks Addiction Walker is not only an excellent walking shoe; they are the department issue footwear for plain clothes law enforcement officers with my agency. This includes the Chief and Assistant Chief of Police. At the same time the clean black lines and high quality leather make them nice enough to use even in uniform. After getting my first set of Addictions at work, I made the change to Brooks shoes across the board.

Another Amazingly Comfortable Shoe - My husband can see why this is called the "Addiction Walker". This is the second pair of Brooks Walkers. He says these are the most comfortable pair of shoes he has ever had. He wears orthotics and has neuropathy, and his foot care specialist actually recommends this shoe. We are thrilled, as always, with the selection and service from Zappos. Please don't discontinue this brand...

Your customer service - I recently purchased a brown and a black pair. After one week, I somehow lost a brown shoe that must have fallen out of a car. Your rep gave me the tel. number for Brooks. They sent me a new show at no chg. The lady that helped me was fantastic. The shoes are great. I broke my back and have a weak ankle. The support in this shoe is super. Thanks.

Great shoe for those who need support - This shoe was recommended for my son, who needs a good supportive shoe because of a previous ankle injury & because he's on his feet for 6 - 8 hours at a time. In addition, he has flat feet & wears orthotics. The shoe accommodates his full-length orthotics with no problem & were comfortable from day one.
