This is the best shoe I can remember having - I love this shoe, I just ordered another pair. I've had my first ones about 8-months and they are starting to show some wear. I wear these things everyday at work and I love them.

Great shoe and good price. Couldn't ask for a more comfortable walking shoe. I'm on my feet quite a bit and have had good luck with this pair. It's hard to find shoes in a 14N so my choices are limited. This shoe beats the New Balance brand I'd purchased previously.

Brook's Addiction Walker - I walk all day around the Children's Clinic and these are the most comfortable shoes I can find.

Brooks walker - I have been wearing this shoe for 2 1/2 yrs. and have found it to be one of the most comfortable I've ever worn.

Support and comfort for flat feet - These are all day comfortable, with great arch support for my flat feet. Stylish enough for work or casual, very much worth the money Orthotics should not be needed, the footbed is excellent support and cushion.

The BEST shoe EVER! I was told, after foot surgery, to get this shoe to reduce lateral motion. That was several years ago, and I am still wearing them. Zappos made everything SUPER EASY!

Customer satisfaction - The shoe is a perfect fit in both width and size. Have found it to be a very comfortable shoe. I have always bought Asics brand shoe in the past, but as of late, they are not wide enough. I never heard of the Brooks brand until I saw it on your list of brands. I am using the shoe everyday and I am enjoying it's comfort. I would definitely order this shoe in the future.

Addicted to Addiction Walkers - I started a walking program, and got shin splints right away, and my feet slapped the ground like I was wearing clown shoes. I ordered the Addictions online on a Tuesday, and they were on my porch 2 days later. I walked 6 miles with the shoes right out of the box! Great fit. No more shin splints, and I don't wake up the neighbors with the sound of my steps. My only complaint is the laces are too short. Hopefully they will stretch with time.

Best Yet - Had been wearing New Balance for overpronation, went to buy another pair of New Balance but sales person said to try the addiction walker, GOOD BYE New Balance. Addiction walker is super, bought brown and black pair, can’t go wrong with this shoe.

I bought a second pair - This is a terrific shoe. Very light, but as comfortable out of the blocks/box as I've ever felt. Very good support. True to size for my 11EE

Best shoe I've ever worn - Brooks is the best all around shoe I've ever worn. I've been wearing all kinds of trainers since 1975

Brooks Great Shoe - I have a VERY WIDE foot. This shoe fit great from day one. It took a coupple of days to break-in. It has great support and stability.

Wonderful shoe! Wow. Thick bouncy sole, like you've never felt before; true-to-size fit; if you walk a lot or are on your feet all day, TRY THIS SHOE!

Walking on air - I have been walking for 10 years for an hour a day. My left foot at the ball was bothering me so I switched to the addiction walker and now my foot feels fine.

Shoe is just what I was looking for - A good walker that fits me well and does not look like a sneaker and can be used in a more formal venue. A great multipurpose shoe for a traveler.

Great walking shoes - The Addiction Walker shoe is extremely comfortable. I bought a pair for me and a pair for my husband. He wears a 15 and shoes are hard to find and ones that are comfortable are even harder to find. We liked thses so musch I've ordered another pair for me and all three colors for him. I had issues with other shoes when walking; I felt my foot was hitting hard ground and I'd have pain up the middle of my foot. With these shoes that pain is gone. I can walk faster and longer with no pain. If you need orthotics you would have to buy a larger size.

Very pleased with this shoe - I've had these shoes for about 2 weeks, wearing them virtually every day and for some of those days I was on my feet all day with no discomfort, my feet not tired. I bought these shoes to provide that kind of service and they fully achieve what I wanted. The shoes feel slightly snug on my size 12 feet but are not tight, no constriction, no pressure points, no toes jamming. This sense of snugness is most noticeable when sitting for an extended period. When standing or walking, the sensation is of support and comfort. Each morning when I pick them up to put them on I am impressed with the light weight, impressive when I consider the excellent shock absorption in the sole. I am very impressed with the shoes and equally pleased with the excellent service from Zappos. The only aspect of these shoes that I'd seek to revise is the color. I've got the brown ones but this brown is almost black. I'd prefer a brown with more mahogany color. There are some Rockports that have that, but I wanted to check out these Brooks shoes and I expect to be happily wearing them for years.

I'd walk miles for these shoes... I have ordered many shoes from Zappos, and sent most brands back, but the Brooks walkers are the clear winners for me. The Addiction Walker has a sturdier more supportive upper than the Synergy 2 does, although the Synergy 2 may have a little more cushion in the sole, but it's close - and both have soles far superior than any other shoes I have tried, including the more expensive brands. These shoes are not pretty, but they pass, and if you value support and comfort, while there may be a $300 shoe out there that can outperform them, for still reasonable money, these are the best!!

Beats the Competition - This was my first purchase of the Brook's Addiction, the reviews helped sell it and they were correct, great shoe. Since receiving I have also purchased the hook & loop Addiction as well. This first purchase was the white ties. Bottom line both pairs were comfortable out of the box, I elected to purchase one size larger based on a couple of reviews, this choice worked for me however ordering my actual size would have probably been OK as well. This is not the case that I have found with Nike or New Balance where one size larger is a must. Comfort and support are excellent right out of the box, with both pairs being worn for 10 plus hours the first day. I found that the hook and loop pair seemed softer and immediately broken in where the tie was a little stiff but came around after being worn a couple times, but this was not a problem. I had been a strong Rockport fan for walking shoes and have used the Nike and New Balance also. The BROOKS ADDICTION is far more comfortable then any of the aforementioned and they appear to be of superior construction. I rated the hook & loop 5's for Overall & Comfort but only a 4 for Looks, simply because the hook & loop design can look a little sloppy compared to a tie. However the hook & loop is much easier to get in and out of. As to Zappos service I have yet to change my mind, it is the only way I buy shoes. Great selection, great service, fast delivery and NO HASSELS!

Brooks Walker - I own the running shoe, the black and now the brown version of the Brooks Addiction. These shoes fit all my needs. You can wear them at work or play. I need an arch support and this shoe works well with my support.

Best shoe there is! These were for my husband who has very narrow feet and is hard to fit. We got three different brands of shoe for him to try, and these are the only ones he kept. I have extra wide feet and the Addiction Walker has been my favorite shoe too. So now we have matching shoes. I highly recommend this shoe to anybody.

Brooks's Addiction Walker - First time I have ever seen the tongue of my shoe after the laces were tightened. So far very comfortable.

Wore them 15 hours the first night... I'm a nurse and work 12-hour shifts on concrete 3-5 times per week. I just bought my third pair of Brooks Addictions. The first night wearing the new pair wound up being a grueling 15-hour shift. My co-workers had blisters, but not me! I absolutely LOVE this shoe... My friend, a retired 36-year veteran physical education teacher now wears them too. Her direct quote; "Where were these shoes when I was teaching full time?" She now substitute teaches and never shows up at school in any other shoe but these. They are worth every penny and I recommend them to everyone I talk to...and Zappos???...you are the BEST! Fast, fast service, no hassle returns, easy website to navigate... incredible. Don't change a thing!

These are the best shoes I have encountered lately. I started buying them about 3 years ago and have a total of 6 pairs in 3 colors. I have worn-out 2 pairs so far. Unlike all other shoes I have tried, I can stand and walk for hours without subsequent foot pain. I think the availability of a narrow-width shoe that better fits my foot is key to their success.

Very Satisfied with my Brooks Walker - I am a big guy who walks regularly and I find the Brook Walkers to be comfortable, well fitting and durable. I have bought all my shoes from Zappos for the past few years as I can always find shoes available in an extra wide size. Thank you Zappos!!
