TEVA, ON YOUR FEET - This shoe is light weight and feels good. This shoe doesn’t give your feet that bulky look that so many shoes of this type can. I highly recommend this shoe. Great cross between a sandal and tennis/gym shoe.

Dozer - I wear the Keen H2 and the Teva seems to be as good as far as comfort and looks for less money. I use the Keens for jet skiing and am keeping the Tevas water free for looks. I get comments on them all the time. I would highly recommend.

Comfortable but Slippery - I bought these to work in a kitchen environment so my feet would stay cool and comfortable for standing long periods of time. They fit tight at first but soon stretched and felt a perfect fit. Easy on and off, light and breezy. One thing surprised me. They are made to be an "all terrain" type shoe with a serious rubber bottom however they are VERY slippery on a wet floor. I thought they would grip on any surface because of how and what they are made for but they turn into ice skates if my kitchen floor is even slightly wet. What would happen on outdoor wet rock climbing!!?? Or coming in from the rain to a mall with a smooth floor??! Weird huh? They look like they could grip anything but they don't. Other than that they are good. Sporty Stylish look. Just be cautious on wet surfaces.

Some problems - These shoes are very comfortable, but have their limits. First, anywhere you walk that is the least bit sandy (for example, the side of the road!), sand, pebbles, and other debris gets inside the shoe and is trapped. I was forced to stop every couple hundred of feet and empty out my shoe. If the shoe gets wet, you are doomed. Underneath the insole is some kind of cardboard (?) construction that disintegrated, destroying the insole. Also, the shoes took forever to dry and when they did, retained an odor that will not leave. If I hadn't used these shoes outdoors and they hadn't been exposed to the elements, they certainly would have remained the best, most comfortable shoes I'd ever owned. For me, they just didn't perform for their intended purpose.

I purchased these for a closed toe alternative to a walking sandal for a family trip to Disney world. I've got a pretty wide foot, and the fit was okay. There's some ability to loosen the midfoot which helped. The Velcro attachment on the strap started to come off at the tip after just a few on-off cycles; i.e. the Velcro held tighter than the glue did. They didn't get hot, and the few times I got wet they dried pretty quickly. They were not as comfortable as plain runners or my previous sandals, particularly in the heels. I do 7-10k steps a day in my work shoes, and in these I did 15k to a peak of 22k at the parks, but stopped using them after a week because my heels were so sore, and friction on one heel opened up a small fissure. I suspect they'll be fine for occasional summer use, and even a full weekend, but they aren't going to get more extensive use than that. The Velcro issue could limit longevity if you use them more regularly.

I tried my Dozers and my little toe seems to fit right in between the straps and slips out of the shoe. I have to say that these shoes stink, I normally don't have foot odor but with these I have to take them off outdoors and wash my feet before entering my house. My wife hates them because of the smell. I have never even exposed them to salt or brackish water. I have put them away in case of flooding or after a hurricane.

Very comfortable except for a blister forming just under each ankle, which required a band-aid for the first two weeks, yet the rocks and other things continue to enter in with no way out except to remove the sandal. And they sure do \r\nhold moisture well, so they take a good deal of time to dry. Also, seems the soles will wear out rather quickly, yet i am hoping for at least 2 seasons.\r\n\r\nRecommendation- Seems The Dozer 2 would help keep out the rocks and other things so if you do buy, buy the Dozer 2. \r\n\r\n

We purchased a variety of Teva sandal models for a 15 day trip down the Grand Canyon. We wore them around the house and yard for a few weeks to break them in. The very first day in the canyon they started falling apart - the soles came off and I spent hours of precious canyon time trying to glue them using shoo goo, aqua seal and gorilla glue. Nothing held more than a couple days. Finally we duct taped them as best we could and hoped we didn\'t kill ourselves on the hikes by slipping on the duct taped soles. The guides previously had bad experiences with Teva and wouldn\'t touch them with a 10 foot pole. Teva knew these sandals were crap, and sold them anyway instead of recalling them. I bought some of the original Teva sandals 20 years ago, but will never buy their product again.

These shoes should not be used for long strenuous hikes without socks. They're poorly designed. The top part would be abrasive to my feet whenever my toes bent upward. These shoes gave the tops of both my feet blisters and sores that made my entire trip a pain. This same problem happened to my friend who bought the same pair. It's not a size issue.

Too narrow and NOT adjustable! We are very upset about the construction of this shoe. The width is FIXED and very narrow, so the expensive "adjustment mechanism" is all for show!!! We couldn't even get it on!!

Quickly wears out - The shoes are extremely comfortable, excellent fit and look great. I walk about 4-5 miles daily and the shoes were received on April 1st and the sole is worn through on June the 1st. I can't afford to buy shoes that wear out that quickly.
