Love the style, true to size. Very comfy at first with regular wear but when I went bike riding in them the toe straps tightened up slowly so by the end of my ride my toes and feet hurt. Maybe toe straps aren't for me. Returned them for the Z1/Unaweep.

Chaco sandals look great...I got them in the reddish color...the footbed is comfortable and they go with lots of casual stuff...however, the footbed really smells after just a few wears...normally, my shoes never smell, however, these are unbearable. I returned them because I was unhappy with them...because of the smell they get I don't think they're worth the high price.

These shoes are cute for sports sandals and I really wish they would have worked for me. But I could not get used to the firm sole and the arch was way too high for me - it made my arches throb. These sandals are probably best for people with really high arches.

Like them but wish I had ordered the ZX/1 instead. I've been wearing these for about a month, and for the most part I really like them. What's amazing is that I like them despite some major flaws. First, I had some trouble with sizing. I almost always wear size 8, but had to go with 7 since no matter what I did, the heel strap on the 8 was too loose. I REALLY wish there were half sizes since my toes are dangerously close to hanging off the edge. That aside, the only thing keeping these sandals from getting 5 stars is that the straps tighten over my toes as I walk. It's painful and I get red welts on the tops of my toes from it. After awhile, the tightening causes my feet to cramp. I really wanted that toe strap for the added security and the look, but now I really wish I had ordered the ZX/1s. Too bad I can't afford another pair of $100 sandals, because I'm betting the ZX/1s would get 5 stars. The arch support is amazing-- possibly better than any other shoe I've ever worn.

Great-looking sandals - but watch out for those arches! After only an hour of wearing these, I ended up with a blister under my right foot (I have high arches - does this matter with these as far as comfort???) so these are going back. Also: I have to say, I have a medium-width foot and the wide fit perfectly - go figure.

Love these shoes. Bought them summer of 2014 and wore them for everything: urban hikes, mountainous hikes, casual occasions. They're my go-to warm weather footwear. The soles have worn through (summer 2018) and I need to send them back to Chaco to have them repaired. Straps have held up great.

I have wide feet and I found the wide width in these Chaco's to be very comfortable. They have been a perfect "everyday" spring and summer sandal and are great for kayaking or even as a water shoe to protect your feet from rocks at the river or lake. Nice sturdy straps! The perfect adventure sandal.

I had foot surgery on both feet this summer and still cannot put on a closed-toe shoe because of tenderness and swelling (e.g., no sneakers, no hiking boots), but I wanted to get back to walking/hiking, if possible, and so I found these Chacos on Zappos. I'd never heard of the brand before, but the reviews were pretty phenomenal, so I took the chance and tried them even though I've never worn a sandal like this before. They were easy to adjust (straps) and were comfortable out of the box. I've already done three little test hikes - walking up to six miles and these have been great - on paved and unpaved trails. They also clean up easily - I popped them in the tub, soaped them up and left them to dry - they were dry the next day. This customer is 110% satisfied and thrilled to find something that gets me back out where I want to be again - on the trail. Thanks, Zappos!

I loved my Chacos but had to return them. I have plantar fasciitis (arch/heel pain) and when wearing these shoes I had no heel/arch pain at all! They were so comfortable and I have always loved the style. Whenever I go hiking, I see so many people with these shoes and everyone raves about them. But the toe loop was a problem. I experienced pain in my right foot along my big toe. It was so bad that I stopped wearing them after just a couple of hours. I even tested these shoes and wore them in the middle of the day the next day. I had no pain without them, but lots of pain with them. I went back to dealing with my plantar fasciitis pain since whatever that weird pain was (neuroma?) was getting worse. Also the straps were so slippery that I would take about two steps and everything was uncomfortable again (Chacos says some get over slippery and you have to get a special thing to wash the slip off). But I opted to return these and get the style without the toe loops. We will see how that goes. Hopefully no more strange pains and hopefully the straps stay where I put them!

The straps were a little difficult at first, but once I got them adjusted I absolutely love them! These are awesome sandals for someone with foot issues! They are well worth the money!

I love this shoe! I am in the hard to fit size of 11.5 and these are perfect! They are adjustable all over, so I can have the perfect fit. I have never had a pair of water/reef shoes, so I looked long and hard for a pair that wasn't too clunky. And the color is feminine on my huge feet!

I love them. I bought a smaller size in the wide size and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable. The bands are adjustable, but I have to adjust often, so they don't squish my big toe.

Very good support, I can wear them all day at a job where I'm on my feet all day. Have gotten them wet while wearing and they are fast drying. This is my 1st pair of Chacos. I have 2 pairs of Keens and prefer my Chacos for their increased support and open top, which is cooler and more comfortable to me.

Was looking for something to wear on cobblestone streets since we're moving to San Miguel de Allende, MX. I'm 64 years old. These have the best arch support of ANY shoe I've ever tried in my life. In fact if you have flat feet or low arches you will be miserable in these. They were perfect in this regard for me! I normally wear a 9.5 in a sandal and the 9 fit with a little room to spare when I tried the Wide. I would have gone with the 9.5 in a regular width. For some reason the wider ones were also a little longer. I don't normally wear a wide. But I had the regular width first and there was a part back near my heel where the foot bed went up on the sides and right at that point my foot seemed too wide for the shoe. Strange. I'm much happier with the wide. Another good thing about this shoe is that it keeps your foot stable - important for walking on cobblestones! I would not say they are the cutest shoes I've ever owned but compared to other styles of Chacos or the Tevas these are downright feminine. Everyone always comments on that. I'm glad I got them and they will be a great, kinda cute, walking shoe!

I bought these sandals last summer for my youth trip to the Smoky Mountains. They were my first pair of Chacos and they were perfect for everything! I wore them shopping, eating, in the water park at our hotel, I didn't wear another pair of shoes the entire trip. My youth leader took us hiking up the Appalachian trail and about two miles in it started storming. Everyone else was slipping and falling over wet rocks and loose dirt but my Chacos didn't fail me the whole way back. They are super sturdy and very comfy once you break them in. They're expensive but very worth the money!

These shoes are the bomb. For the first week, you have to break into them so just saying they will be painful then. After, the shoe molds more with your foot and it feels just right. If you are not comfortable with the toe strap, do not get these. Some people I know have an issue with the toe strap but I do not personally. I wore my black pair all through the Summer in Colorado and they survived miraculously. Note also - if you plan to wear these with socks in the winter you might want to get sandals with no toe straps so you do not have to cram your toe in the strap. I have always loved Chacos, always will. Before you return them, wait a week or two of wearing them and then decide.

Best pair of shoes I own. Hands down. I wear them every single day. Note: They do take some breaking in, and your feet will need some time to adjust to the arch! But trust me, it's well worth it. The best part is -- they last forever. Mine still look like they did the day I bought them. Do yourself a favor and just click "Buy!"

WOW! I bought them as a gift for my girlfriend. She LOVES em! SHe used to have a pair of Yampas, but they were stolen or lost or something. I got her these as a change of pace, and also bc they're similar but with a larger tread. We like to hike and run and camp and whatnot, so she was ECSTATIC about that extra tread, and loved the new color too. I highly recommend these shoes. She loves them and raves about how comfortable both these and the Yampas were. Zappos was extremely helpful too. It was recommended to me to buy both sizes I thoght she might be, and it worked out great; she tried both and found the perfect size. Now I can return the other size for free. Thanks Zappos!

Extremely comfortable. Straps are all adjustable but it is tricky! Extremely cute, not what I was expecting for an "outdoor" sandal. Runs large - I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 wide. The 8 wide fit great!

This is a really comfortable shoe! I love it! I did buy a half size down from what I normally wear and it worked well! I normally wear 9 1/2 and bought a 9. My first chacos and I love them!

These are great! I've been an avid Chacos fan for years, and it was time for a new pair. I was a little hesitant about the double straps and thicker soles, but so far, no problem! They fit great and the arch support is better, which is good for me because I have high arches. I have narrow feet as well, so the straps haven't come to adjust perfectly yet (i.e. still a little loose in the heel), but I've found with Chacos that once you get them wet and wear them in a little, they start to fit like a dream. My only complaint is that I wish they came in half sizes. That would help me dial it down a bit. Other than that, great shoe! So glad they added the extra arch support to the sole!

I have had Chacos for about 15 years and just had to have them ReChacoed. I wear them all summer and even wear them on easier hikes so I got my second pair. I am a totally satisfied customer.

I have tested these sandals on every terrain and they have passed the test. Unlike other popular sandals, (Birkenstocks) these do not kick rocks back in the shoe as you walk. I have an enlarged knuckle on my big toe and these sandals can easily be adjusted by pulling the straps through the inner sole linings to conform to just about any foot. They are attractive; and DO NOT slip in the water on slimy rocks. They are worth the money you pay for them. I LOVE THESE SANDALS!
