I'm so pleased with these sandals! They fit perfect, have great arch support, and look really good on. I'm planning on buying another pair or two, in different colors. Love them!

Just a word to the wise: If the buckle strap is too long (drags on the ground), a simple needle and thread will do the trick. That's what I do and it works wonders. Just fold the end of the strap over once (or twice if necessary), forming kind of a (small) loop, and a few quick stitches and the drag problem is no longer a "drag".

Wanting a sandal with arch support that actually stays on your foot, I ordered Chacos , first tried the ZX2 Yampa in a 7, it was nice, but didn't feel quite right. After reading a bunch of the many reviews, I sent them back and ordered the Unaweeps (same style sandal with different, heavier sole). I loved these, but they seemed strangely big. I take a 37 in Birkenstocks, so after more reading of reviews.... I ordered the 6W's ( the wonderful, indulgent folks at Zappos agreed to exchange the sandals a second time) these fit perfectly! I love 'em. They aren't elegant or anything, but totally comfortable and make my feet say "ahhhh!" Muche better than my Birkies.Just wore them on a camping trip and they are wonderful for walking on rocky shores, root-strewn campsites and everywhere! The only slight complaint I might have is that they are not slip on shoes, take a minute or two to put on. I also took the advice of another review and cut and "sealed" the ankle strap with a burning match, so now it doesn't drag on the floor.

This is the first pair of Chacos I have ever purhased, and I am so pleased with them!! Before they were broken in, it did feel like I had bought a size too small. These shoes are truly about getting the right arch support. If the arch is hitting your foot in a comfortable place, then you have the right size. The rest of the shoe will be comfortable in time! I can't wait to take these to the mountains for hiking. If you are having trouble adjusting them, take them to any sporting goods store where they sell Chacos and ask an employee to help you. They know what they're doing and can fix your Chacos if you have messed them up. These are quality shoes that can take anything you put them through.

Most comfortable, stable sandal I've ever worn! I bought them to use as an approach shoe for a climbing trip, they not only held up to the hikes, but they are reliable and grip great on rocky accents and descents. The toe strap helps hold the sandal in place but doesn't put any stress/strain on your toe. They are completely functional for outdoor activities but I love that I can go from the woods to downtown without changing my shoes! I love how much the double strap dresses these sandals up!

Wonderful shoes that look great to wear with a casual outfit while still able to provide the comfort of a performance sandal. Adjusting the straps is challenging at first, but after a few days the strap adjust to your feet to give you the most comfortable and secure stride. The flatbed of the shoe is so comfy! I usually wear a medium width but I had to get these in a wide. Also they run a little bit bigger as well. Pleased with the purchase and as always pleased with Zappos' customer service!

Chacos are comfortable, as long as you get the straps just right. The only thing about them is getting them wet. They're waterproof, yes, but you will get blisters from hell. I'm a lifeguard and these are the shoes I have to wear to work, so they are constantly wet. When they're dry I have no problem with them, but if you're planning on getting these as a lifeguard go for 5 finger vibrams instead.

Got these for my wife and she loves them! She's had plantar fasciitis for several years, so she is very selective in her footwear. She claims these chacos are her go-to summer shoes. Only thing: the strap length is too long for her- it bothers her a bit but she is willing to ignore that for the comfort.

I really like this shoe. I have only had them for about 4 days, so I am sure as they get broken in they will get more comfortable, but they are already very comfortable. The straps are a little confusing at first, but once you figure out which straps connect where, it's simple, and you should only need to adjust them once or twice before they are just right. Another thing that I think is worth mentioning about this sandal, is that it seems to run narrow. I have an extremely narrow and flat foot - almost every shoe I find is too wide. But these Chacos fit perfectly. So, this may mean that a person with a normal width foot might need a wide. Because my foot is also flat, when the straps are adjusted correctly on me the end of the strap hangs down very long. This is a little annoying because it flaps as I walk, but should be an easy fix with a thread and needle, or to send it in to get the strap shortened an inch or two. Overall, I love my new shoes because they are very supportive on all areas of the foot, and the color choices are great! I'm already shopping for a second pair!

I purchased these sandals, based on the high rating and reviews. So I purchased them and shipping was fast. I tried them on and I was really disappointed with these the sandals. The sandals is not comfortable at all. I'm returning them. I'll stick with my Ecco sandals.

Love these shoes! Will pack them for every trip! Sizing was accurate and they are very durable and comfortable. Great walking shoes!

I ordered these sandals in hopes that they would adjust enough to fit my very narrow feet. Unfortunately adjusted to my feet there is too much extra strap to cinch them at the ankle. Additionally there is no way to adjust the ankle around the back. They are attractive sandals and I would have liked to keep them. It seems that they have good arch support. They do seem heavy compared to other sport sandals. I am returning thanks to Zappos good return policy.

Took these on a vacation right out of the box. Great. No issues. Comfortable. Was able to walk in and out of water with comfort. Also really good for my arch structure.

I have to say, I absolutely love these shoes. I walk around a lot due to the fact that my campus is huge and I cannot be more thankful for buying these. At first I was a little hesitant buying them because they are not the most attractive shoe, but they are so worth it. They took a little while to break in (I got several blisters due to the straps) but after that, I have no complaints. They are so comfortable to walk in and I wear them almost every day. I am so happy with my purchase and I definitely recommend them!

These are the BEST sandal! I have very slim, but long feet, so, sandals rarely fit me. The size it yourself pull through strap is just brilliant. The arch support is great, as a semi pro folk dancer (barefoot style) I need something that will save my feet when I'm off the dance floor. These are now my go to shoes for errands, shipping, driving and in general life!

I bought these Chaco's before a long backpacking trip in Europe. They were the smartest thing I packed! My feet were perfectly comfortable walking nearly non-stop every day.

I love these! They are super comfortable, and offer a tremendous amount of support. However, they're quirky -- they are a bit quirky to put on the 1st time or two -- they give us instructions similar to IKEA. Be patient -- you can walk for miles, then take them in the water, walk on rocks or lava. Kona, here I come!

Just got these shoes in the mail and the second I put them on they felt amazing. The strap in the back of my heel is a little too big but I can work with that. These shoes are truly amazing. I truly recommend these.

Once I figured out how to adjust these I like them, a lot. I made them too big and had trouble getting them smaller again. Prepare to spend a little time fiddling with them once they arrive but once you get it, they are great. But what I like so far: The closure across the top of the foot rather than around the ankle, the arch support and the fit. I measure a size 5 and these are just right. The arch support is appropriate--not too big as others have mentioned and the over all length is perfect. I am bothered with a bunion on one foot and was concerned that the strap would cut into it, but that has not been a problem. Now, I've only worn them around the house so I need to see what happens when I go for a walk, but I am optimistic. Will let you know....

I really wanted to love these sandals, but, alas, the wide is simply not wide enough in the heel area. There are two heel risers/stabilizers that are great in theory, but the way they come up out of the sole means that they rub very painfully on my feet. At first I thought they would be something one could get used to, but after enough time they have simply gotten painful. If you only wear them for brief periods of time, they are great! But that is probably not what you are doing with these sandals. I appreciate the adjustability of the straps, though they are a bit of a pain to work with. And I love the looks of the ZX/2 - the double straps make the sandals really cute, and I love the added stability from the toe ring. They do run a bit hot, as your feet can get a bit sweaty from the material of the sole, but they are good and open. It makes me wish they had a leather version available. The arch support is amazing, too. It almost feels as though I am wearing proper shoes. They simply are not wide enough for wide shoes.

I really like this sandal it runs large in length but narrow. I have medium width feet but had to return for the wide. I have not had problems with the toe strap getting tight but I think that's because I have the wide and there is plenty of room for the toe. These are comfortable and don't have to be cleaned everyday like my Tevas.

The fixed straps along the top were too loose. Too bad, otherwise the shoe fit well and I liked the look.

I bought this sandal because I wanted to try the Unaweep sole - I figured it would be more suitable to my needs. I had tried on the Yampa in a store and was sized for an 8 (my feet were practically swimming in the 9!), but they were out of stock of the color I wanted, so I decided to buy online so that I could try the other sole and wear them around the house for a bit to be sure they were really what I wanted. Unfortunately, I discovered that the Unaweep runs small compared to the Yampa. No matter how much I loosened the straps, I couldn't even get my foot into the sandal. I'm going to try again in a bigger size, though.

I love my new Unaweep. I ordered them in wide since my old Chaco's felt a bit narrow. They are perfect! I am taking them to France as my everyday shoe. I plan on using them for hiking too. I was concerned that the double strap would be difficult to adjust but it was not a problem. Love these shoes! I wear a 7 1/2 or 8 in other shoes but in Chacos I wear a 7.
