My husband loves his Chaco's so I bought a pair too. At first the sandals were really comfy, however, after a few uses, the soles of my feet got really sweaty, and I tried to wash the shoes but that didn't help . I have really flat feet, and eventually I developed horrible blisters in the area that would be my arch, so I threw these shoes out. I wanted to review these sandals to make sure anyone with flat feet doesn't end up with the painful blisters I got!

I was really disappointed with these shoes. The straps are extremelly frustrating to manage and the shoe is not comfortable. I will be returning them.

I hate to write bad reviews, but, these are the worst sandals that I've purchased in years! I'm a hiker/outdoors lover, and I tried to love these sandals. Each time I wore them, they wore holes in my toes - big blisters on the bottom of my big toe. No matter what I tried, tightening the straps, loosening, the straps - no difference. I will never recommend this sandal to anyone and will be selling mine at the next garage sale. I've tried to wear them for 2 months with the same nasty results. Buyer beware!

I love these shoes. I wanted a good sturdy sandal that would not come off my feet. These are very comfortable. I do have to adjust the toe almost every time I put them on but they are very easy to adjust. Definitely worth the price!

I've been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and friend told me how Chacos cured her of it. She was right! Who needs $400 custom orthotics?! I'm waiting for Chacos to design a waterproof winter shoe.

I have wanted Chacos for at least two years. Finally I decided to just splurge and buy them. I have a pair of Chaco sandals that are a size nine, so I decided to order size nine Chaco ZX/2 in the color River. It took 4 days for them to come, tracking them everyday. When they came I wasn't sure if they were to big or not. A few days later I tried on size eight Chaco ZX/2 in the color Serenity. They fit perfectly! So far I have not had any problems with my big toe being suffacated and hopefully I never will. I can't wait to wear them canoeing this summer!!

Great arch support, adjustable straps and a thick sole in the upsweep. Great for foot issues!

Great sandal for those of us with narrow, flat feet. Once you figure out the straps, they fit great!

Theae are my absolute favorite shoes, sometimes I even wear them in the winter. They do take a little breaking in, as mine gave me blisters te first couple times I wore them. But once you get the straps to wear you want them to fit, they feel great. Good for walking around town, or going on a hike, but be careful as they don't offer much side-to-side ankle support.

I am liking them so far; I have only been wearing them for a few hours at a time. It took a little bit of time to adjust the straps, but it is worth it for my narrow feet. The arch support is great! I love the colors (I got the blue and pink). There is excess on the strap, but I have been able to tuck it around and it has been no problem. I am excited to have an alternative to Tevas.

First pair of Chacos. I'm a huge fan of Keens, but they just don't offer a sandal quite like the style of Chacos. Getting the straps positioned at the perfect spot for my feet was a long process, but well worth the effort. The adjustability of the straps is their greatest feature next to the durable sole. Sylish and comfortable shoe that can easily be worn with skirts or jeans. Great arch support once those straps are in the right places. If the back heel strap isn't positioned just right it tends to rub a bit, but not a huge concern and hasn't given me any blisters.

I loved the look of the shoes. I wear a 6.5 and the 7's worked the best, but, alas my very high instep kept me from the shoes. I just could not get them to adjust to a comfortable fit.

After reading other reviews I had a good feeling about this sandal and indeed it is awesome! I would agree that it runs a little large but normally I take an 10 but since I have long toes it was a was ok. Arch support is great! That's primarily why I chose it and it did not disappoint. The strap adjustments just take a minute and you have a custom fit. Love that! I have only worn mine for one day but I have not noticed any tightening around the toe but even if it did, I would be ok. This is a stable, comfortable and stylish in a heart kind of way. I did try the Vibram Unaweep but it was too floppy for me. I like having my feet secure the way this sandal does. Excellent sandal.

They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought my first Chacos 4 years ago when my daughter and I went to New York, I put them on when I left Ga and only took them off to bathe and sleep. I now have 3 pair!! Would wear them in the winter if I could figure out how to wear socks with them!! They are well worth the price.

I ordered these because all my friends in the Peace Corps recommended them. I received them 2 days before a trip and was hesitant to wear without breaking them in. I took a chance and they were awesome. No blisters despite walking several miles on uneven terrain. I loved them. You do have spend some time adjusting the straps, but they fit my narrow foot beautifully. Usually sandal straps are way too gappy for me.

Great! My mother finally got sick of me 'borrowing' hers and got me a pair of my own. Just like her, I love them.

My last pair lasted 8 years; I finally had to replace them because the straps cemented into the sole and began to develop an odor. I've been told that if you "floss" them occasionally, this problem shouldn't develop. The soles never wore out. I wear them all day for work, 6 months out of the year. After 8 years I was surprised that the price for a pair had remained consistent and the quality is still superior to other brands. They fit true to size and conform well to a foot with a high arch. The toe strap is very comfortable and once flossed to fit, they slip on as easy as any other sandal.

Awesome shoes. I wore these all over Vegas starting at airport, Grand Canyon, and the strip. Feel felt darn good. I have flat feet. They are great. Straps that are adjustable make this a custom shoe. They are cute...not ugly!

I love these sandals and I am extremely picky. They are very very comfortable and still stylish. I require great cushioning and arch support and these sandals provide both. They get lots of compliments. I'm an active mom, these are great for the sporting events, family walks and dinner out. They are perfect for all day wear on vacations and amusement parks and perfect for everyday wear running around town doing errands. Love these! Most comfortable shoes I have next to my athletic shoes.

Fabulous shoe!! I bought this shoe with a Walt Disney World vacation in mind - lots of walking. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the shoes were absolutely the best pair of shoes I have ever purchased! The fit was true to size and look of the sandal was feminine and practical. The strap adjustment takes a little getting used to, but it is wonderful once you get the hang of it. The shoes did not need any breaking in; they were comfortable right out of the box. I can't wait to purchase another Chaco sandal!

Highly recommended - I ordered these sandals for my mother in the wide size because she has a large bunion. The adjustable straps were very comfortable, and no break in time was needed. I have a pair in the regular width and recommend them for the great arch support.

Love these shoes - The color is what sold me on these Chaco’s. I own 4 pairs now. The double strap took a little more time to adjust but once that was done they are great. I would highly recommend Chaco’s and Zappos was a great website to work with.

Chaco ZX/2 Unaweep color black - I love the look of this style. It takes a bit to break in the straps so they stay where you like them....it also took about a week of wearing them to determine just how I like the straps to fit....I think I like them a bit looser than most. I called Chaco and they said that to expedite the webbing to stop from slipping you can wash them a few times in the washing machine....pull the straps so that the unexposed areas (part that normally runs under the sole) are exposed to the wash, move the straps, wash again, you can spray the straps with simple green or just use your laundry detergent, anyway, the point is to remove the wax that covers the webbing which is what makes them easier to assemble....oh yes, air dry in the sun, moving straps around until all parts have dried, then readjust and wear a few days until they settle in....I love my Chacos and own several styles now and find the above to be consistent break in for each pair...at least for myself.
