I'm getting more and more satisfied with my Chaco's. At first they didn't fit. I ordered a 7 but they were way too large and too narrow. Now I have a 6 wide and it fits. I would really recommend to order better wider shoes because it hurts at the heel after a day of walking when the shape of the sole around the heel doesn't fit. Also for those who intend to wear these Chaco's with socks, I would recommend to buy the ones with a single strap because then you can eliminate the toe strap which is not possible with this model. You can put it aside but it's not a solution for long walks. It feels as if you can walk and stand forever. Besides, they look really nice and the black ones fit with everything.

I give this shoe a high rating for comfort and I've enjoyed the style. It is a little tricky figuring out how to loosen or tighten the laces but once learned, not problem. The arch is different from other sandals. I liked the added cushion. Again, a great shoe!

I normally wear an 8 1/2 shoe size, but since this shoe does not come in 1/2 sizes I ordered an 8 wide. I love the shoe, but in order to tighten the shoe around my ankles the strap hangs on the ground. Unfortunately, I am sending this shoe back. I wish Chaco's came in 1/2 sizes. I am going to Europe next week and I was looking forward to taking my Chacos.

These are pretty comfortable, but they are a substantial shoe. Heavy and well made. Takes a little maneuvering to get the straps just right. Great if you are getting in and out of water a lot.

These shoes provide a nice, snug fit with an adjustable strap. Read the directions how to adjust the strap when you receive the shoes and you will have no problems getting the right strap adjustment. They provide a nice arch support (I have plantar fasciitis problems) so you can wear them all day comfortably. My feet do not slip in these and they provide very good traction on wet surfaces. I hiked in these in the Great Smokie Mountains and had no problems. The fit runs very narrow. I usually wear an 11 medium width, but had to order a 10 wide in these. I don't believe they offer wide width in size 11's.

I love walking in these shoes. The straps do tend to tighten up, so getting them adjusted is an ongoing battle. The one major negative is that the wonderful firm arch and harder foot bed material result in an airless environment over a large area of my foot. When worn for more than a short time, this results in absolutely horrendous foot odor unlike anything I've ever had to deal with. I'm not sure if treating them with a product will help, but for now I have to be careful not to have them on for long, which is not the point of solid, awesome, comfortable sandals!

This is my first pair of Chacos, and they came highly recommended. The only problem with them is they usually tighten up around my big toe over the course of the day and become a bit uncomfortable. Other than that (and the learning curve on customizing them). I am pleased. Definitely order the wide.

I've been debating for the last 2 years to order a pair as I have never seen them in stores near my hometown. I am definitely not disappointed with my purchase. Yes, the straps are hard to set, but this is a minor setback compared to the overall comfort of these sandals. They provide excellent support and no more ripped toenails!

This was the first pair of Chaco's for me. I've had some problems with Teva's and was looking for an alternative. When they arrived, I followed the fitting instructions and was able to easily adjust them. Problem was, once adjusted, the buckle, which should fall in the middle to outside of your foot, was as far to the inside of my foot as possible, making the ankle strap look quite goofy. Apparently my instep is so high I can't wear Chaco's. So, these are going back. I loved the look of the double straps. The shoe felt a bit heavy, but very sturdy.

A client of mine was wearing her Chaco ZX/2 Unaweeps and they looked great. I was looking for some walking sandals, she told me she wore these shoes for hiking, 4 mile daily walks, everything. So I ordered a pair and I really like them. I took them on a trip to New Mexico, wore them all the time, and my feet were comfortable. It took a little effort to get the straps placed just right, but that's really not a big deal. You just have to spend some time fiddling with the straps until they feel right.

I got these shoes a year ago and they haven’t failed me yet... soft shoes with a lot of flex and comfort. I like them because of the look; Puma’s are in style... I wear them from indoor soccer, going to the movies... and they even look sharp with a suit. I also like them because of the small skin-close fit... they are good for running and activity. Soccer is my life and I wear these for indoor. GREAT traction and ball control. Paint wears off the colored stripe eventually, but they are durable otherwise. Great shoe and LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS.

Overall a comfortable, nice-looking shoe. The rhubarb color is pretty and I get lots of compliments. However, I’ve had trouble with the straps on my left big toe and I keep getting blisters where they crisscross. The right feels fine.

Not for flat feet -
I was looking forward to trying these after all the reviews. Unfortunately, even though they have a decent arch, they do not provide enough support for my super flat foot. Bummer! I was also really surprised when I took them off to find that the straps had left black marks on my feet--not what I would expect from such a reputable brand.

Chaco ZX/2-Phosphore -
I absolutely love this shoe, except for the part that the straps are very light-colored, so they are very easily dirtied as I spend my summer as a camp counselor in Oregon. The straps were completely dirty on these sandals, just three weeks after I began wearing them. They started getting dirty when I took them on one 30 minute hike in the foothills one night. However, that was the only disappointment I've found with these shoes; they are amazing! They fit perfectly and are very, very comfortable!

Strangely narrow toward the back, I got horrible blisters until I cut off some of the rubber of the shoe to make it wider and then had to cover that section with moleskin. Otherwise comfortable.

Chaco comfort -
I like the shoe very much, however, am finding it hard to "break it in" in terms of getting the webbing to stay loose enough around the toe. I am constantly adjusting it. I even went swimming in them in hopes that thoroughly wetting them would help (I think it did somewhat). They do provide great sole support and help prevent slipping on rocks.

Comfy with a little style -
These sandals are comfortable, although I find I need to adjust the straps on a regular basis. The sandal is a little bulkier then I expected, but it is worth the comfort it provides. I will spend the summer in these sandals.

Not as impressed as before -
This is my second pair of Chaco's. The prior pair was az/2 Unaweep and I wore those forever. They were totally great. I have not been quite as impressed with these; it is harder to get the straps adjusted, but still a great shoe.

Chaco Unaweep -
Overall I would recommend this shoe however, not to a die hard because the double strapping is more fashion than function. Admittedly I bought this shoe because I swooned over the look of the double strapping but I found it to be more difficult to adjust and slightly uncomfortable. I would recommend this shoe for casual outdoor wear and the single strap for more adventurous endeavors.

I love the shoe but as the day goes on the straps around the big toes tend to tighten and become uncomfortable. I have to stop what I'm doing and start pulling some straps to try and loosen the toe straps. Not all my friends have this problem, I wonder if the straps are too loose inside the shoes on this particular pair?
I'm just not sure why this happens.

Love them!
Am a severe over-pronator, and was concerned that these shoes would not offer enough arch support.
So far, they are not only comfortable; they are very supportive and stylish.
These shoes have converted me to a Chaco-lover and I can't wait to order more.

Love my Chaco’s -
These are some super comfy sandals! I have always been a Birkenstock girl, but I decided to make the switch for a music festival this summer. I walked for four days and my feet were barely sore by the end. If you wear a 1/2 size like I do, order down (if you wear an 8 1/2, buy an 8) and they will fit perfectly.

Ditto what everyone else said about the toe loop...
I love my Chaco's, they are comfortable and stylish - I have the pink ones also - but I can't keep the straps from tightening around my big toe throughout the day. It's not tight enough to cause pain, but enough that I stop occasionally to loosen the strap. Next time, I will get the kind w/out the toe loop. Otherwise, these shoes are perfect.

Big Feet Beware!
Although I love the way these sandals look on my great big ugly feet (size 10), I find that the adjustable straps around the toes pull tight - especially while hiking up and down hills and biking. I would recommend them for casual, light walks, but if you are looking for a sandal to wear while hiking, choose the ones without the cute little straps around the big toes!

So bummed these didn't work for me. I have long, narrow feet and needed to size up to a 10 to fit the length of my feet. However, the strap around my heel was slipping off while walking even once I tightened it all the way. The shoe feels comfortable but there is no way this can work for me.
