Wonderful surprise! My son had recommended this shoe for me, and I had checked out the manufacturer's site; however, they did not have the same policies regarding returns, etc. When I received my Chaco's Zx/2, I was fully prepared for a break-in period - Not necessary! I have worn them a great deal and for long periods with no problems! I could not be more pleased!

Easier to adjust than the Z2 - Very comfortable and easier to adjust than the Z2.

Built for the Road - Worth the money, hands down. The toe loop and ankle strap keep this sandal firmly in place, while the ankle strap is actually positioned high on the instep instead of around the ankle, avoiding the truncated leg-look that comes with a higher strap. The arch support is excellent for my foot, and the entire foot bed is comfortable enough that I can even run short distances on the sidewalk with no discomfort. The strap adjustment was a little difficult at first, but once I got the hang of it I was able to create what feels like a custom fit! I'm very excited to take these on my vacation. I also like that there is no velcro to get caught where it shouldn't, and no animal products.

Arch support a must!! I have been hunting for a sandal with arch support for a long time. I finally got over hunting for a pretty pair and found these. They are not totally ugly but rather clumpy but have EXCELLENT arch support, they are a bit narrow - I thought I had narrow feet and found one of my heels had to adjust to the inner heel strap. Pretty color selections are great. Generally I wear a 7 ½ (Nike sneakers and more) and got the 7 which is perfect. In DANSKO clogs I wear a 38. If you don't want to dive in to this ones price I would recommend trying the flop first. I'm contemplating a pair as they look less restrictive. This is not a negative report just trying to be helpful I love shoes and am very picky about the fitting details - hate getting a pair and having to send them back because of fit. I definitely would have sent these back had I been disappointed with them. I needed these because I felt regular flip flops were ruining my arches. Also great for running after my kids in!!

Great sandal!!! I have a few herniated discs and have to be careful of what sandals I where - after by chiropractor said that they were great shoes I bought I pair and love them. So comfortable I can wear them all day - there is no breaking in period and I get a lot of complaints on them. Worth the extra money!!!!

Great design! I have small, narrow feet and these water sandals proved up to the task of individualized adjustment. I love them!

Great investment! I got these shoes to backpack around Jamaica, and they are awesome! They fit great and are really comfortable!

I love Chacos! This was my first pair of Chacos, and I LOVE them! They are comfy, and the tan line from them is great ;)

Great amphibian treads! Highly recommend these for water to land activity. They are comfortable, not clunky feeling, and definitely easier on the eyes than a lot of the competitors.

Great sandals! I love my new Chaco's. They are so comfortable and make my feet feel so secure. I feel like I could walk anywhere in these! I do feel like I have to adjust them quite often. They'll be good when I start out, but as I walk they tighten up. Luckily they are a cinch to tighten/loosen!

The shoes that will take you places - Great shoes for well, anything! This is my second pair (previous pair lasted well over 4 years). The fit is perfect with nice arch support, and comfortable for wearing long lengths of time. The straps are adjustable, which does cause some toe strangulation occasionally. Hence, the rating of 4 for comfort. Even when wet, the sole does not slip. Highly recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a versatile shoe that can take a beating (wet or dry!) and still look good 4 years later.

First but not last order - The shoe is just what we were looking for and when it shipped ahead of time it blew us away. We felt like our one little order was special. We will order again!

GREAT OVERALL FIT - These shoes are so cute. However, I have rather large big toes and they feel a little confined. Overall very good fit and very comfortable.

Chaco - I wish the straps had a little more length to them.

Chaco inspiration - I have always loved Chaco flip-flops and this is my third pair of this style of Chacos. I purchased my first pair at the beginning of last summer and wore them out! This pair is the best of all. True comfort. If this is the kind of shoe you are looking for, you cannot find any more in any other shoe of its kind. The arch support is superior for this style of shoe. I can walk for miles!!!

Casual comfort - These Chaco’s are much lighter than the past models which increase the comfort level when walking on them. The look is sleek and sporty. The color is a nice medium versatile brown which goes with all brown clothing. The fit is a generous 8. I am 8 1/2 and it fits well with room to spare. The only draw back is the small toe straps get tight sometimes and have to loosen them. I am pleased with my purchase overall.

Size - Make sure that when you order, order the next size LARGER. I wear an 8 and my heel hung over the back. I reordered a 9 and it fits great. Also, they do take some time to get the straps to fit your foot just right. I wore these when I had to take a summer college class and I did a lot of walking. They work great for this!

Great summer sandal! I wasn't so sure about these shoes on the first wearing - the footbed felt a bit rough, but after the 2nd wearing, I am a HUGE fan! I love these shoes - they are cute and a little dressy. I like the adjustability although I always need to make some adjustments to the straps every time I put them on, so I can never seem to get them "just right". Otherwise, it’s a great sandal and it has great support for long time wear comfort.

Great with my plantar fasciitis - This is one of the few shoes I can wear without orthotics that does not aggravate my plantar fasciitis. They are a bit heavy and the footbed is a little scratchy, but each strap adjusts through the bottom of the sole, so they can be fitted perfectly to varying widths of feet. I love them with shorts and sometimes even wear them with denim or casual skirts. Recommended!

Great all terrain shoes! My daughter loves these! Also, the shipping is uber-fast! I ordered at 3pm on Tuesday and had them in hand by 10 am on Wed.!

I love my Chacos! They are my first pair so they took a little getting used to, but I love how they fit and that they are so versatile. They're great!

I've been wearing Keen Newport for years and was looking for something more open but just as secure and stable as the Keens on my high mileage feet. Enter Chaco ZX/2. They are light, provide incredible support and they're available in wide sizes – I wish more shoe manufacturers would make widths for women. The Chacos are quite versatile. I go from trail to city sidewalk, and even wear them to work. They're also easily adjustable to fine tune the fit. I got 2 pairs and - can you tell? - love them. Added bonus – I ordered with regular shipping and Zappos, bless 'em, sent them next day. Great service!

Best shoe ever - I have been suffering with planter fasciitis for about 3 years. I have worn the soft cast, and 6 weeks of therapy. But this shoe has taken away all of my pain. I have ordered 3 pair, also 2 pair of the flip flops. I don't know what I would do when cold weather comes. Absolutely love this shoe. Causes me a little pain on my bad foot, but figure it is break in period. Would recommend these to any one with tendon pain. Nice arch. Thanks, Judie
