These are awesome sandals. They are whole size only, so if you wear a half size then pick the next size up (I got a 9 for my 8.5 size feet). The straps adjustment is a little tricky but once they are set the sandals hug the feet nicely. The arch support is way better than any other sandals I\'ve worn. These Chacos look really sharp on.

These are really comfortable I can wear them all day. Very versatile and can go with many outfits. Great when you get caught in the rain because your feet do not slip in them.

Perfect shoes for running errands, taking walks and other such summertime fun. I them very comfortable and would wear them 24\/7 if they were closed toe (a work requirement).

I bought this sandals for my 17 year old daughter who was going to Costa Rica for a month. Her older sister has a pair, wears them when she travels and has longer walks on a college campus.

This is my favorite sandal to wear! It is comfortable and versatile. I wear them camping, boating, etc. In fact, I wear them all the time. Would highly recommend them.

I absolutely love these shoes. Before these Chacos I owned the Zong sandal which didn't offer the real support I wanted. These are so comfortable and the straps adjust exactly to how you walk and how your feet move while walking. Not only is this a reliable shoe but the Chaco's team is more than amazing with customer service and making sure you are 100% happy with your shoe. Thank you Zappos!

I was anxiously awaiting this order. I usually wear an 8 1/2 shoe, but since this shoe does not come in 1/2 sizes, so I ordered an 8 wide, much to my disappointment. The shoe I received was a 8 M the left one fit good and felt great, but the right one was really tight. Sorry, but I'm sending them back, but plan to reorder. I am hoping I get what I order next time.

Love this sandal. They do take a bit to get used to the straps, but doesn't take long. I wasn't used to the arch support at first, but now love it! I wear these sandals on walks, playing in the yard with my kids, gardening, everywhere!

Like other Chacos, this is the perfect sandal for anyone needing solid arch support and stability to reduce over-pronation. I was reluctant to try this one at first, thinking that the toe strap would be irritating, but it is absolutely the most comfortable sandal I own. Highly recommended!

First to say, I haven't had the same toe-strangling issues as other reviewers. I adjusted the straps once, and was good to go. The key was finding the correct size: I usually wear 8.5, but without the 1/2 size option, I ordered an 8W. Perfect! I love these sandals. I've been having problems with my feet, and my podiatrist recommended these. The supportive footbed has eliminated my ankle issues. I can run around with my kids, and have taken these sandals hiking and playing in the water. Awesome!

Love these shoes and Zappos! I am consistently a 7 1/2 in everything, but I ordered up to the 8 since they only come in whole sizes and they fit perfectly! Easier to adjust than I was led to believe, so that was a plus! They are a little heavier than I expected, but I guess that's to be expected with such a durable shoe. Can't wait to try these out on the trails this weekend.

Chacos last forever, and have excellent arch support. My hips and ankles give out if my shoes don't. My first pair is 9 years old and still going strong (although the tread is pretty thin). That pair, a thong style, has been river running, hiking, strolling town and on many overseas vacations. I can knock the dirt and; mud off and they're good to go. The pair that this review is under is my least favorite of my three pair. This particular style (double thin straps) do tend to strangle the big toe. They're the most attractive but I only wear them when I'm not concerned about frequently having to adjust the toe strap. I'm purchasing another pair of Chacos, but it won't be this particular style next time.

I absolutely love the Chacos I received as a birthday gift last year! They were exactly what I needed for a European trip, trekking all over cities and beaches. Several of my friends have them and getting a Chaco tan is always a highlight of my summer.

I've had this sandal for about a month and it is already the best pair of sandals I've ever owned. They are comfortable, rugged, and hug your feet. Perfect for walking on rocky beaches or kayaking, and exactly what I needed here.

I love my Chacos; they have the best arch support of any hiking sandals I have ever tried. Yes, they are slightly heavier than other sandals but it's worth it. There might be prettier, more feminine sandals out there but none have this level of arch support and traction. I was a bit concerned that the strap between my toes would bother me but after I read the instructions on how to adjust the sandal I understood that you have to leave the straps quite loose and I never had a problem. I chose this design because the toe strap holds the sandal in place and actually makes it MORE comfortable. I feel very secure in them, even hiking in rather rough terrain. I like the double straps, it also looks better than the other designs. I am usually a size 9 1/2 or 10. Size 9 seemed too small, size 10 too big but size 9 WIDE fits perfectly! I am so happy with my Chacos; I think I don't ever want to take them off again. I did not need to "break them in", they were comfortable right out of the box. Just remember to read the instructions on how to adjust the wrap very carefully and leave the straps rather loose in the beginning.

I treat shoe buying like I'm buying a car! I read all the reviews and even contacted Zappos for advice when my usual size (6.5) seemed too small. Zappos was very helpful and took my concerns seriously. I do wish now that I had ordered a 7 wide to try on too, just to see if they would be even more comfy. Zappos is the only way that I will buy shoes now, a shoe store just wants you to buy the shoes; Zappos wants you to be happy...

I have worn Chaco flip flops for 3 years and loved them so I am trying these this year. The thing I like best about these sandals is that every part of it is adjustable. I have very narrow feet which means usually my foot slides right through the front of the sandal and my toes are flapping on the ground which is wholly unacceptable. With this sandal I can adjust the straps so that my foot is securely set on the foot bed where it belongs. You could also get a great fit with wider feet since the straps are completely adjustable. I think the stripes and the double strap makes them a touch more feminine which I like. The arch support is excellent. They feel like a very supportive shoe while actually being a sandal. It is HOT where I live so I wear them so much that it pays to have a really supportive sandal. Also, the foot bed does not stain your foot nor make dirty foot prints on the sandal. They wear like iron too!

I am glad that I read the reviews. The notion that they run a bit large is true. I have always worn women's size 6 1/2 or 7. But, I bought size 6 and they are perfect. The foot bed is just right. Thanks, Chaco...you rock!

I really love my Chacos. I got them as a gift and I can’t wait to wear them this summer. I got the red ones and the color is great. I was worried about the size because I normally wear an 8, but from the reviews I decided to go with the 7 Wide, which fit perfectly. I’m so excited, they feel amazing on my feet and will definitely be well worth the price!
