Perfect shoes! These are the best shoes ever. They are cute, super comfy, and totally customizable. I was confused at first about how to adjust them... you just have to pull on the straps. After I figured that out, I was in heaven. I gave only 4 stars for "look" since it still looks very much like a hiking shoe, even with all its strappy coolness.

Excellent shoe for white water rafting!! I got these to go on a major 4 day white water rafting trip down the Colorado. It took a few tries to get them adjusted. If they hurt your foot then readjust them because in the end I got them so comfy they were great. One of my rafting guides even had the same shoe. It holds your foot so securely I was amazed. I went hiking in them and wading, and rafting and even a little light rock climbing. The grip on the bottom is great! Better than any other sandal. I got the rhubarb though and it was not red, it's much more pink than in the picture. I kept it because I didn't have time for an exchange before my trip and they've grown on me. I really love these shoes. The texture against the bottom of my foot sometimes bothers me but not that bad. Even after the trip they still look almost new.

Worth the money. I love this shoe; I have black Chaco’s that I wear everyday, but needed brown. Now these are my favorite. My friend told me about Chaco’s last year and they are all I wear. They look great with everything. I get compliments everyday on my shoes. Love Zappos fast delivery.

Great shoe! I held off for so long on buying these shoes because I didn't think I needed them for $100. I am so glad I finally gave in. I have worn them several times each week; they are so comfortable and versatile.

Great fit, cool style, amazing service - This is my second pair of Chacos, and I'm planning to adore them as much as I do my first, which I've had for six years (and had resoled once, which was easy and worth the effort/price). Birkis and Tevas don't really fit me comfortably. I've got wide feet, and in lots of shoes a women's 8.5 wide is still too confining, but Chaco 8Ws are a dream. Wearing this shoe is more comfortable than being barefoot: no pressure points, no odd fits, and no pokes in the soles with a sharp rock. I keep 'em a little loose so I can slide in and out easily, but I like still having the security of being buckled in if I have to move in a hurry. I live in these shoes all summer. I like the new double-strap design, and I love that the Biscotti color includes a brown rather than a black rubber sole. I'll wear my earlier Chaco’s anywhere with anything, but this seems just a tad bit dressier. I ordered my ZX/2s online at 7pm yesterday and they arrived at my door, shipped for free, at 11:00 this morning. Wow! Does Zappos read my mind? Have they discovered a new doorway in the space-time continuum? Whatever. If I hadn't been a Zappos fan before, I'd certainly be one now! Buy your Chaco’s at Zappos, folks, and stop kow-towing to the Teva Dynasty!

Love this shoe - I had already bought the ZX/1 - I wear a women's size 12 and found it to be very comfortable with good arch support. Then, I bought the ZX/2 in red and found it just a bit smaller -- I even put the shoes up to each other and the footbed was smaller. I kept it anyway and made it work! If anyone has good ideas for cleaning these shoes, please post! I finally threw mine in the washing machine - it seemed to get them spiffed up - but need a suggestion for daily spot cleaning.

Love This Sandal - This is my fourth pair of Chacos, so obviously, I'm already a big fan. I wear a 9 in street shoes, which is what I bought and they fit perfect. In the beginning, but just for a couple of days, I too had some minor tightening around my toe, but that resolved quickly- it only takes getting used to the personal adjustment system - my feet are on the narrow side, so this is what I appreciate most about Chacos. That toe strap is what makes this sandal more supportive and secure to the foot. I think this shoe looks great, very protective walking over gravel beds and other rough terrain, and is so comfortable and they always offer great colors. I did have to shorten the strap "tail" as it was dragging on the ground when I snugged up the sandal and I worried about tripping on it (a wider foot wouldn't have this problem). I'm sure at some point I will be buying a fifth pair of Chacos - most likely in this style.

Run Big! These guys run big - I usually wear a 9, got a 9, and definitely wish I had went with an 8!

Chaco ZX/2 Unaweep - Absolutely love this company!!! I tried buying this shoe in rhubarb locally, but they were back ordered. Zappos had them in, and accelerated the shipping free of charge to me the next day. Awesome! And, I’ve gotten lots of compliments regarding the looks of these shoes.

Chaco’s in brown - I love the brown color. I love my Chaco and finally now I can wear them with brown. I found them in a store but as usual did not have my size 11 and then I found them here!! Same great comfort as my other Chaco’s.

Best shoes ever! If I had to choose one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of my life, these would be it. Make sure the arch feels right, that is key to having the best Chaco experience. A friend and I bought these at the same time. We both wear 8.5 but with the Chaco’s, I ended up w/ a size 8 and she got a size 9 due to arch placement.

The most comfortable sandal I've ever owned - This is a great sandal. They are what I put on anytime I want casual comfort. I can wear these all day and walk all day and my feet feel great at the end of the day.

Wonderful walking! I’ve never owned a pair of Chaco’s before but since I’ve always heard good things, I decided to give them a try. I love them! It took a little while to get all the straps adjusted comfortably- at least a couple of wearings. But now I can hardly feel them. Perfect for long walks. And look cute! I usually wear a 7.5 and the 7 worked fine.

Great Sandals - I really love these sandals! They are very heavy soled and comfy. You can pull & weave the straps around to adjust to the contours of your feet. A little pricey, but worth it!

Love these sandals - I love my new Chacos. This is my third pair to buy. My last pair lasted about three summers, so they are worth the price. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but since Chacos doesn't make half sizes, I always size down. Chacos are great sandals. You can wear them anywhere or at least I do. To top it all off, Zappos got my sandals to me the day after I ordered.

Great Zappos service and Great for narrow foot - Zappos is amazing as always - even though I ordered standard shipping I received my order within 18hrs. I had some questions/reservations about ordering these Chaco’s and I really like them so I wanted to share some of the answers that I’ve found: 1. Are they good for narrow feet? Yes. I’m a little person with narrow feet but normal to high arches and they fit great, don’t stick out on the sides, hold my foot well, etc. I also go the light brown so they seem less big than the black (for aesthetic purposes on a little foot) 2. I’m a 6.5 - should I order up or down? Down. The 6's hit my arch better, and the length just makes the cut. I also have one foot bigger and one smaller (more like a 6.75 and a 6.25) and the 6 accommodates both. 3. Is the double strap comfortable? Yup. I thought they may dig in because they are thinner but each strap adjusts separately for the perfect fit (which takes some experimentation). I also think the double strap makes it look a bit more delicate for the smaller foot. 4. Toes or no toe? Toe is my preference. I find a better hold and it’s very comfy even if you’re not a toe-hole person. 5. How do the arches feel? Aggressive. I was worried in the beginning since the arches felt so prominent, but I got used to them quickly and find that they feel good. I’m glad I ordered them, and can’t wait to wear them in the great outdoors (not just biking to the coffee shop).

Chaco ZX/2 Unaweep - I wasn't sure about this shoe when I got it. I had a pair of the ZX/1 previously and they never got comfortable. The surface was rough on my foot, the arch was too high, and the shoe just didn't feel like it was part of my foot. It happened that a salesperson at my outdoor/adventure store mentioned that the double strap fit her foot better and thus the surface didn't rub the sole of her foot anymore. So I tried a pair on (though they had only a size smaller than my old ones - but I was curious) and found to my surprise that they fit much better. Normally in closed shoes I wear 7.5, sometimes 7. In a sandal I buy 7 or rarely 6.5, but I wear a 6 in these! So the overly high arch is now perfect, they don't flap around like my old ones and they do still feel a bit rough underfoot, but I'm getting used to it. The only complaints I have are that they do tighten up with wear (though I have read other reviews and will try washing them to get the wax off) and the footbed is not quite as cushioned as I would like. I tend to get pain under the ball of my foot unless my shoes (or orthotics) are very cushy and obviously the orthotics don't work here. The good news is the arches are great, so I don't need the orthotics from that point of view. I think I can count on these for a trip to Europe this summer - the black goes with everything and does not scream "ugly functional shoe" like some other shoes my feet feel good in. I am going to give my old pair to a friend who thinks she can't wear sandals because of the need for arch support - can't wait to see how they work for her!

Chaco sandals - I have loved Chaco’s since my first pair--they are a go anywhere sandal.

My favorite shoe at a better price - I own the other style of these and wanted to try these on. With wider feet, sometimes thin straps look silly or fit poorly and hurt. This was not the case at all! These look fabulous and I love the brown as an alternate to the black I already own. With the shipping included at a price better than where I usually buy these shoes, I wasn't afraid to try something new. I'm so happy I did!

Excellent and comfy shoes - I love these shoes they stay on my feet with the toe strap. They are somewhat hard to pull and tighten and when they are brand new they like to tighten. Otherwise they are a very comfy shoe with the arch support.

Very comfortable and like the style. Excellent sandal for summer or very hot climates.

Great shoe - This was a last-minute purchase for a trip to Maui. I love them! Even though I took many pairs along, I wore these almost exclusively. I found them extremely comfortable. They were great for the beach or hiking. Your service is incredible. Thank you Zappos!

So worth it! I have fallen arches and sore heels so I read the reviews closely before buying these. Aside from having trouble getting the straps adjusted, I love them! These are going to be a staple in the wardrobe year round, I love living in TX!

Diggin' my Chaco’s - I really dig my Chaco’s. I own two pairs, and they are such a quality shoe. They are worth every penny. I don't think a day went by during the spring/summer that I wasn't wearing those shoes. I'm a 7 1/2 regular width, and for the Unaweep I have found it best to round down in size, while for the Zong I rounded up. They both fit perfectly. If you're thinking about buying them... just do it. You won't regret it!
