Great shoe - even for those with arthritis! These shoes are GREAT! It's nice to find a pair of waterproof, sporty sandals that fit great and look cute too. I have osteoarthritis in both of my feet and needed to find a pair of sport sandals that I could wear comfortably. Chaco fit the bill. I normally wear orthotics (flat feet) and found that these sandals offer great arch support and keep my feet comfortable for long periods of time. I also have very narrow feet (wear a 9 1/2 N) and loved that you can adjust all the straps in these sandals to give you a custom fit. Although they are pricey, I feel it was money WELL SPENT! Do yourself a favor and buy a pair.

The most comfortable sandal I've ever worn! I've worn Danskos exclusively for three years now (I have flat feet, bad knees, creaky hips and back), but one day a pair of Dansko sandals turned on me. I don't know if the leather was stretched out or what, but my feet were slipping and sliding all over the place during a long walk, and by the time I got home, I was in pain from head to toe. My feet, ankles, legs, knees, hips, and back hurt like crazy. I immediately went to the internet and did a search on sandals for flat feet, and Chacos came up with rave reviews. I placed an order right then and there, and I received my sandals from Zappos the very next day. When I put them on, at first they felt so strange to me. The heels are much lower than Danskos, (by the way, I still plan on wearing Danskos in the colder months, but as far as sandals go, from now on, I'm going with Chacos.) The straps and the treaded sole took some getting used to, but within a day or two, I was completely comfortable in these sandals and very, very happy to be pain free! I think the next pair of Chacos I buy will be the model with the toe loop for a little extra security, and perhaps I'll get a pair of their flip-flops, too, because they like very cute, and I think people with flat and wider feet should have some more fashionable options (I wear Danskos for comfort, but let's face it, they aren't the sexiest shoes out there. Chaco's are kind of sporty, kind of hippy-ish, but I can deal with that.) I can't vouch for the other Chaco models because I haven't tried them yet, but if they're half as good as the Unaweeps I own now, that says a lot! Also, the treaded sole turned out to be a great feature because there are no annoying and ugly visible foot prints left inside the shoe. I really like these sandals. Huzzah!

My Chaco's - I have been wearing this shoe for about 6 years. My original ones have hiked all over the world and gradually worn down so much I felt I must replace them. Having difficult feet I am delighted to have something so comfortable for walking in.

Anatomically perfect! Chaco has done their homework before they put this shoe together! The straps are perfectly placed; just make sure you adjust them correctly. It is a good idea to go to Chacos website (Chacousa.com) to make sure you get the right size and also find out how to adjust them. It is really very simple, and the concept works like a charm! The Unaweeps are both rugged and good-looking, and you can definitely walk all day and every day in them. I have had mine for 2 weeks now, and find that I am using them all the time. The Jupiter color looks really great, I am really happy with these sandals! I also like leather sandals, but if you accidentally get rained on, these are much better because the leather becomes uncomfortable and mushy when wet. Also, if you have any kind of heel pain, the Chacos will take it away; -- they are shaped after your foot, more so than any other sandals I've seen. GREAT SANDALS!

Supportive, adjustable, durable walking sandal - I got these because my dad has worn his pair every summer for 5 years, and says, "As far as I can tell they're still good as new." They're waterproof and the strap is adjustable. You can wear them with socks if you don't mind looking like a nerd – it's very comfortable. The contoured sole gives great support for my whole foot, especially arch and heel. The soles are thick and seemed heavy at first, but I quickly got used to that. It is a slight inconvenience to have to adjust the strap every time I put them on (I can't set the fit and leave it because the buckle is the kind you have to pull to tighten), but it's worth it for the custom fit. At first the side strap irritated the side of my ankle, but I tightened the rest of the straps a little and the problem went away. If you're looking for a good walking sandal, I recommend these.

Very comfortable!!! I bought these shoes to wear on a beach vacation but I wear them a lot because they are so comfortable. This shoe has a lot of support for your foot yet so breathable! I usually wear a 6.5-7 in ladies but ordered a 6 and they fit perfectly!

New to Chaco and slowly becoming a fan - I tried on several styles of Chaco sandals, but the Unaweep was the most comfortable. I did not like them at first because they are not soft soled, but after fitting the straps and wearing them on the elliptical trainer this morning I am very happy with this purchase. While on the elliptical, my feet did not become painfully numb as in my other shoes and the arch support is my favorite part of this shoe. Zappos patiently and generously helped me find the right fit and style by letting me try them on and send them back until the fit was perfect. Excellent service and this shoe is a perfect fit in the exact size that I wear, it is narrow enough to suit my skinny and bony feet, and it is wonderfully supportive. THANKS ZAPPOS!

Awesome sandal - I love this shoe! I am a size 9.5-10 and ordered a 9 wide and it fits perfectly. Just wore these camping and to a concert. Danced the whole night and my feet felt great! They are very supportive for my arches and feel secure. I love the adjustable strap system, if your feet swell, you can loosen them. Took a little while to get the hang of the strap system, but worth it. I got them in the green color, which I feel goes with most colors well. I wanted a sandal that was sporty and could handle getting wet and dirty and this fit the ticket!!!

Great Sandals - I am enjoying these sandals! I have worn Teva sandals in the past and did not get the support that I get with the Chaco sandals. They are practically the only sandals I am wearing this summer! I also think that Zappos is great - I got my sandals the very next day - I was impressed.

Footbed tread irritates my feet! Everything people say about Chacos is correct: I've been wearing the same pair for 7 years because of the arch support, versatility, no slip strap... they're the first sandal that I've ever owned that offered near enough arch support for me. HOWEVER, the tread on the footbed shreds the skin on the sole of my feet, especially under my big toe. I don't know why this happens, but I may have to retire this sandal in favor of something (like Keens) that has a slightly smoother footbed.

Love these sandals! Thank goodness for the wide Chaco’s. The regular width is too narrow for my feet but I wore them anyway until I found them here in wide because the arch support feels so good. Adjustable, so you get a good fit with the straps. Very comfortable!

Love them - Very very comfortable. I have a wide foot with a high arch and these felt like they were made just for me. Great arch support and the adjustable straps made for a nice snug fit. I've ordered a second pair.

Excellent Sandal - This is my second pair of Chacos. My first is seven years old and still going strong (after resoling). I wear practically nothing else in the summer. So far the new pair is excellent as well.

Love these shoes! I tried on a pair of these at a local shoe store. They didn't have the red color I wanted but Zappos did! I love these sandals more than any shoe I have bought in the last few years. They offer great arch support and the adjustable strap design allows you to fit exactly to your foot. Great for those with high arches and cute as a button, super comfortable from day one. Recommend trying one half size smaller than normal to maximize arch support and foot placement on the awesome footbed. Love 'em so much I almost want to sleep in them.

The only river shoe with an arch - I need arch support for my high arches and until I found these I made due with Teva’s or ordinary flip flops for the water. But now Chaco’s let me have a river shoe and a great pair of flippers with a curved arch so I can walk, walk, walk and not be in pain. That's priceless.

Excellent sandal - I bought these sandals just before leaving on vacation. I have a wide foot, need arch support, and recently had sprained my ankle and developed tendonitis. I thought I would be restricted to my New Balance. These were an answer to my prayer. I was able to walk around comfortably. The straps were adjustable so I could fit the sandal to me and my needs. I'm considering another pair in a different color!

Great shoe, though color not as appears on website - I love my Chacos! I have wide feet and high arches and these are the only sandals I can wear for any length of time on my plantar fasciitis-prone feet. My normal shoe size is an 8W, but for this style, I wear a 7W and they fit perfectly. The only complaint I have is the Razz color is actually a much, much lighter shade than how it appear on the website. Still cute, but I was looking for a sandal that was a little darker and more reddish.

Chacos rule! I bought 2 pair of Chacos last year when we went on a trip to Italy. They are great for all weather hiking or walking all day on tour. I got the all black ones for going out to dinner and the other blue stripe I wore every day. No problems... great arch support and cute.

Perfect shoe - As always, Zappos was fast and professional. I love these Chacos. I ordered a pair for my aunt, who wears a half size, but says the next size down fit perfectly. I will continue to order from Zappos in the future. Thanks!

Love these sandals!! I went to Costa Rica with my son and was concerned that my trail shoes would get wet and I'd need a back up pair of walking shoes. Also, we were doing carry on only; I didn't want too many pairs of shoes or another sneaker type shoe. I also wear orthodics so wanted good arch support. I spoke to the outdoor footwear folks at Zappos for thoughts and they suggested these. I loved them. They were instantly comfortable, held well on wet slippery trails, and were fine for town, the pool and walking through water as well. Other than walking on slippery flat metal grids (like a hanging bridge) these were terrific and exactly what I was looking for. I'd most likely get another pair in more of a "dressy" look if I was walking in major cities in Europe and wanted a good walking sandal.

Great shoe - Wore this shoe on St. Johns in the Virgin Islands. Walked several miles on a rocky beach, got rained on. Dried out quickly, great footing, total comfort thanks to the great arch support.

Fabulous sandals with arch support - I love my wide Chaco, especially with the arch support. I have searched high and low for a pair of sandals with wife with and an arch support. I have bought more expensive sandals but none is comparable to my Chaco. I have taken it with me everytime I travel. After hours of walking, my arch do not hurt like it was with other sandals.

Love 'em - As usual Chaco comes thru. I bought these as a gift for my daughter. Her old ones finally wore out after many years. She was thrilled with my choice. Chose the green ones, very pretty. We are hooked on Chacos...As usual, Zappos service is the pinnacle of perfection. Thank you
