Recently bought this sandals that I bought about five years ago that lasted forever the ones that I just received are already falling apart the front steer my toes are so thin that she could barely walk on it and they really stretch out very disappointed this time

My husband has been wearing this flip flop for YEARS. As a pair gets old, we replace it. He loves them. This year, I ordered him a pair in his size and they are too small. They are a size 13. We held them up to his other pair, also a 13, and the new pair is noticeably smaller. He wore them around before I noticed that his heel was right at the edge, which is when we compared them, so I can't return them now. Some consistency in sizing would be nice. Other than that the quality is still good. Just too bad they don't fit. We won't buy again bc that is the largest size and now, after at least 6 years of wearing this exact style and size, they're too small.

I feel like the quality of the fanning has gone down hill considerably and the price keeps going up, I have always been happy with them up until about 3 pairs ago when they keep coming apart between my toe and to get the company to replace them is super complicated and timely, I don't have time to send a bunch of pictures and receipts etc just to get a replacement under warranty. I have been a loyal customer to reef for many many years.

You must size up. I'm an 8.5, so I usually order 9. My husband had already bought a pair and had to return for next size up. But then they fit pretty sloppy. Toes instead of hills hang over. Weird... maybe they are only for walking in sand ??

I love my Reefs! I ordered a pair for my wife but they were a size too small and I returned them the next day. I am still waiting for a refund to buy the right size. I don't like their exchange policy...it doesn't exist. You have to return the order, which takes 7-10 days to process, then it takes that long to get the refund. I ordered next day on the 13th of May. They came in quickly, but now it's the 30th and I still don't have my new pair. Good company, great product, not my favorite return experience. Looking forward to my gift finally being here!

I'd love to tell you that they fit great , but I had to send them back. I have a narrow foot , and when I lifted my foot they would fall off. They were everything they said they would be , good quality, good looking , but way to loose.Really nice sandal for someone that can wear them.

I will give the shoes a 4 star very comfortable. But don't trust the colors in the pictures!!!! I thought the ones I got where going to have the light teal color on top and they are white!!!!

I bought them because the Fanning is the same style I have now, but the new one is all man-made materials -- not as nice as the leather upper pair I have now. And the new sandals, also size 8, are slightly smaller. Not disappointed enough to send them back though.

I only wear this flip flop style. However, I have only bought 1 new pair in the last couple years because the colors have become so limited. I'm down to black/gold, white/grey, green/yellow and plain black. I would purchase more shoes if I had more color options. Even across the men's, the colors are becoming boring.

Great sandal fit is awesome.. a little heavy o. The back.. makes for wearing for long period of time kinda hard on your feet..

My husband and I purchased a total of three pairs of Reefs before vacation, we both have bleeding raw skin on the tops of our feet. I think the shoes will be good once broken in, hopefully?

The men's Fanning have many more choices for color combinations - what is up with that? I wear mine all summer long - dog walks, gardening and errands.

I have worn Reef Fannings for about 6 years. I really like the support and feel because I have some ankle issues. However I have had a few of the same colors and same model that were different in quality. They did not last as long with the bindings or the sole itself. Which concerns me. It would be great if the product was manufactured in the US or somewhere besides China. How many manufacturing sites are there ? Maybe something has changed in quality but price has gone up. Shopping for US made or other countries producing products besides China now. Bindings stretch out sooner than the past products I had.

Love the comfort and lack of the flip flop sound with these sandals. Just bought my second pair at Christmas and I could not wear them due to the straps being so tight on my instep. Tried to wear them all week in vacation in Cabo but they were so tight on my instep that my foot was starting to bruise. Hi instep customers be aware.

Very well made but the material needs to be broken in a bit more before used. The material,for the straps absolutely tore my feet up with blisters. After a week or so of wearing they are much better.

I would give a five star rating, but I ordered the wrong size, sent them back with a request for a larger size, but haven't yet gotten anything back. When I do I will change my rating to five stars. My last pair of Reefs lasted for years.

I have been wearing these flip flops for over 10 years now but they don't sell the fancier ones like they used too! There used to be ones with silver on black anc gold on brown but anymore they are the same old black with mint and all kinds of other combined colors. I LOVE these flip flops as they are great for my major back issues and I still recommend them. Just wish they'd bring the old color combos back!

The best flop I've found minus the tongue. Outstanding support and comfort, but I'm now on my third tongue failure in less than a year. These would be an excellent product if Reef would just reinforce the in-between toe attachment point. This last blowout happened in a very bad area and caused me to slip off a cliff. Thankfully I caught myself or it would have been a long fall onto rocks. The only reason I'm still using these is because Reef has an excellent replacement policy. I just wish I wasn't constantly needing to replace them...

I have ordered this type for over the last 8 years. The recent one I got was thinner it seems than the other past ones as I still have a few pair. Also did not like the narrow choice of colors. I plan to still buy them in future if colors improve, but I don't feel that they are value for money like they once were. "#sweepstakes"

I purchased a pair of these "flip flops" about 5 years ago. they were so comfy and lasted soooo long!! so I bought another pair now. I was a bit disappointed because the "web" in between the big and second toe, was a bit irritating after a while. I put a piece of cotton around it to make it cushioned and that helped alot, but it doesn't look very classy that way. maybe after I wear it down a bit, it may not irritate my toes. the thick cushiony sole makes them comfy. The pair I bought 5 years ago, had a small tray that pulled out from the heel, where I could store a credit card or small amount of money. this pair does not have that. I'm hoping this pair lasts as long as my first one did!

Not as cushiony as I wanted and not as much arch as I wanted. But I'm not returning them.

Order a size too small, not thinking, I threw away the packing slip which contained a return label. Been a hassle getting one ever since. Sandals are great though! Super nice, ordered the correct size and my husband can't wait to get them.

This is my 3rd pair. In the past they have been very comfy and I can usually get 2 summers of daily use out of them before they are shot. This pair however is narrow and is tight on my feet. I've been wearing them in the house for the last couple of weeks, hoping they would loosen up. Sadly, they didn't, so I will be returning them tomorrow.
