These shoes are wonderful when I am on my feet for hours. No other shoe I have had compares to this one. I had no leg or foot pain after standing all day with these shoes on.

My husband is in the restaurant business, I bought him a pair of Dansko for his birthday. I had to return the regular and bought him wide, he now loves them. I also bought myself a pair of the patent black, I love them wear them everyday to work!

Wonderful shoes. I needed a pair of good supportive shoes that also had to look sharp. After all I was just entering Mortuary School-so I needed the comfort and support because I have to be on my feet a lot and they had to look good for the dress code at the school. These fit the bill perfectly. No breaking in-they felt like they were made for my feet from day one! Recommended for anyone in the medical fields.

I purchased these Dansko shoes for my daughter-in-law who is training to be a nurse. She absolutely loves them. I have ordered more than a dozen times from Zappos and each time I have dealt with you I have been impressed with the quality of your merchandise, the helpfulness and professionalism of your staff and the ease of returns (which have been few). Thank you.

I bought this pair of Danskos because I own another pair of Danskos in a different color and style. I absolutely love my other pair. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever owned. I wear them almost every day at work. I work in a very busy bank and although, I'm able to sit, I'm on my feet most of the day. My feet NEVER hurt at the end of the day. I'm experiencing the same results with the new pair that I just purchased. The only recommendation I have for someone considering purchasing them is I have a very high arch. I have to be careful when buying shoes that have anything that presses on the top of my foot. I experienced a slight discomfort on the top of my foot the first few times that I wore these shoes (I don't have that problem with my other pair of Danskos). I pull up on the top of the shoes each time I wear them. I don't have any problem with them. I feel, they just needed to be worn a few times and, my foot needed to adjust to something being on the top of my foot. I will always buy Danskos in the future as they are just so comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

I bought wide this time and it\'s so much better. Not that I have wide feet, I found Dansko to be a little tight and uncomfortable in the dorsum of the feet. I have heard others echo this complaint. I work in a hospital where many people wear Dansko. Having wide Dansko, there\'s more room and I havn\'t had this same pain since.

Very comfortable. I wore these during my whole week in Disney and did a lot of walking. I did not need to even break them in.

I really like these shoes, they are very comfortable. I had to return the first pair they run small so order a size up.

I finally found a pair of shoes with enough support and comfort to wear teaching all day, even with my flat feet. The shoes are fantastic and the service from Zappos was excellent.

When I first moved to Boston, I lived near MGH. I couldn't believe how many medical people I saw wearing these shoes, especially considering I was in my twenties and didn't love how the shoes looked. I've had knee problems for years (from sports), but when I injured my ankle slipping on a patch of ice and went through PT, I needed better comfort and quality shoes than what I'd been wearing. I finally took the hint and bought a pair. After breaking them in, they quickly became my go-to casual shoes. Eight years later, my ankle is fine and I completely wore out that first pair. My new clogs - just like the old ones - are my first choice when I'm going to be on my feet all day, or when I just want to be comfortable. I also have a pair of Dansko sandals that are my warm weather favorites - they are the first thing I pack when I travel. Two caveats: Danskos require a long break-in period; wear them for slowly increasing amounts of time before you wear them all day. My new ones took about ten days before they felt like they were made for me. Also, each individual shoe is a little different; try on several until you find the best fit. My fit may have been more difficult than most (I wear an 8.5 double-wide and have a high instep), but now they are perfect. Thank you Dansko for making wides; they weren't available when I bought my first pair, so back then I had to go up a size and the break-in time was longer. Thank you Zappos for your legendary customer service; quickly responding to my special-fit request, allowing me to try on, and the ease in returning the ones that weren't a perfect fit. I highly recommend this style in particular, as well as Dansko generally - especially to anyone who has joint issues, is hard on their feet, or who chooses not to torture themselves with pointy-toed strappy things (at least, not everyday).

Like wearing a fluffy pillow! I am a nursing student and need all white very comfy shoes. These fit great, after I ordered three different sizes to try on! I normally wear a size 7, so I ordered a 37- my toes were touching the tips of the shoe and they were just too small. Then, I ordered a 38- felt too big at first, til I realized this is how the shoe is supposed to feel. I ordered a 38 narrow- way way too tight across the tops of my feet, like a micro-mini shoe and I actually do have narrow feet! So I ended up keeping the 38 regular width size. I only worry about them falling off my feet because they do flop up and down, but other than that they fit and do feel so comfortable that I do not want to take them off my feet!!! Zappos was very accommodating to my ordering three sizes to try on. I always do that and there is never any problems on returns.

I love these shoes!! I first bought a pair when I was pregnant. I wore them for several years until they started to wear out and I didn't hesitate to order a new pair. I HAVE THEM IN DIFFERENT COLORS AND WEAR THEM TO WORK EVERY DAY!! They are so comfortable.

These shoes are great. I wore them a full day their first day out and my feet were about to die! But, by the end of the week my feet didn't even mind the full day walking on them. Once they're broken in they are awesome! Would highly recommend!

I ordered these shoes for my daughter who is a physical therapy student. She is working 10 hrs. a day and on her feet most of the time. She said the shoes made all the difference and had great support. As recommended, we ordered a half-size larger than what she typically wears and they were perfect.

I use these shoes for work and they are super comfortable, as I am constantly back and forth on my feet all day (I am in the healthcare field). I am a size 9 and was advised by Zappos to order size 39 but found that the length was short and my toes hit the front of the shoe. I exchanged them for a 40, which are perfect. They aren't too stylish, actually they're a bit clunky looking, but very easy to get used to and I even find myself wearing them outside work for the comfort factor.

I wear a size 9, and originally thought these were too big. However, after then purchasing the 8.5-9, which were too small and tight, I found out that these are supposed to fit where your heel comes in and out every time you walk. Very comfortable once you get used to how they fit on your foot.

I knew exactly which Dansko shoe I wanted and the exact size.Shopping @ Zappos meant no sales tax and no shipping expense. Ultimately, it was a bargain in that sense, even though I paid nearly full price for the shoes.I'd order again in a heartbeat.

The Dansko Professional shoes I ordered from Zappos was the best buy I have made in years! Another gal at my office was experiencing "unhappy feet" just like me and she ordered hers first - in patent leather and after hearing her rave about them, I ordered the flat black for myself. We work in a professional office where most women teeter around in heels but quietly suffer from sore, unhappy feet. My friend and I have started a trend with these shoes - we can still wear our professional suits, but also have happy feet with the Dansko Professional! 2 other girls have bought them since me!

I have foot problems... a tear in my left plantar fascia... I am able to work all day 8-5:30 on my feet and I do not have pain in my foot at the end of the day after wearing these shoes. Awesome shoe. The top of the foot area is a little stiff at first, but gets more comfortable with wear. I love these shoes and even wear them when I go out on the town because they are so comfortable!

I finally understand why people swear by these shoes! I’ve had a hard time finding shoes that provide great arch support, but these have been wonderful. That they offer such support isn’t readily apparently from the immediate feel of the footbed (as opposed to, say, a Birkenstock, which has a much more pronounced curve under your arch). But they allow (for me, anyway) for hours of comfortable standing and walking, and I can’t say that about many other shoes.

They saved my life! I have plantar fasciitis and even my New Balance and Crocs weren’t helping me anymore. I followed the advice of others on here and ordered a half size bigger. I also ordered a wide. I have NO foot pain anymore. I work on my feet all day long and would be in terrible pain during work and after. I couldn’t walk a step without pain. While my plantar fasciitis is not healed, the pain is decreased 95%. These shoes are so comfortable, not gorgeous but not ugly, and go with jeans and dress pants. They are a little heavy which takes getting used to, as well as about a week break in period. The arch support is fantastic! I totally recommend these shoes!

Love these shoes. Had to get them in white because I needed an all white shoe for my nursing school clinical uniform. Danskos are great support for long days on your feet. I usually wear about an 8.5 with a somewhat wide foot (but not fat). The 39 fit like a dream. Highly recommend to anyone that stands or walks around for many hours at a time.

Love,love,love the shoes. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. The shoes don't look at all comfy but I tried them and they are awesome. So many people couldn't be wrong! I am an RN so I'm on my feet a lot and if they weren't comfy they were going straight back. I even brought an extra pair of shoes with me to work in case I couldn't make it through the day with them, but I didn't think about them one time during the day. They're great.

Three and a half days before a trip I heard about Zappos. I really needed a pair of the Dansko Professional in black, so I placed my order about 11:00a.m. They arrived as promised before my trip! I love them! Currently I have a pair in brown & black & manage to alternate them throughout the week. The shoe is extremely comfortable on my difficult to fit feet. I have wide feet, high arches & a large bump over the great toe joint, from a fracture 10 years ago. On the trip I only took the black Dansko & it worked out fine. Easy to take off at the airport & comfortable on the plane. They look good with jeans & plain moderately casual pants.
