I feel I have to amend an earlier review that I wrote, in which I concurred with other reviewers that Dansko seems to be making their shoes more narrow. As a 38 regular wearer I ordered a new pair of 38s that seemed way too narrow. So I returned them and have since tried 38 Wides, and 39's. Both were too big. But then I spoke with a Zappos person, who said there is a bit of variation, as the shoes are made by hand. So I reordered the 38s in Black Oiled, and they fit fine! So, go figure. I just don't want people to order the wrong size based on my review!

Felt smaller than size even though I ordered the 8 1/2 - 9, usually wear an 8 - 8 1/2; also felt narrow but this is primarily due to having a high instep.

I love these shoes! So comfortable, even after a 12 hour shift. I am usually a 6 1/2 in shoes and a 36 in Danskos.

These shoes rock. They are so comfortable, it is unbelievable. I still get lots of compliments and stares when ever I wear them.

My Dansko leopards are fun! I love them. One problem is that they have an off-gas smell. I'm hoping it wears off.

If you need a comfortable shoe, Danskos are for you! I am a loyal Dansko wearer after spending 10 days in Germany walking everywhere without pain or discomfort. If you are new to Danskos, they are supposed to be looser in the heel and not feel snug.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wear them to work every day. I am a teacher and so I'm on my feet all day. I used to have tired achy feet at the end of each day until I got these shoes. Now I have no pain at all after a long day. Worth every penny.

I couldn't love these shoes any more. I have an infant and just being able to slip these cute clogs on without needed my hands is a lifesaver, and I can walk a ton with great support. I highly recommend these shoes!

I really like them. They help greatly with posture. The only downside to them is that they are uncomfortable to break in. It only took a couple of weeks though. Overall, a great shoe.

These shoes are comfortable, look nice with dress pants, and can be worn with socks. They also slip on an off and have excellent arch support. I love wearing something so comfy that looks so great! Be aware, however, that this shoe is much shinier than it looks on the computer screen. Go with one of the more muted blacks if you are looking for less shiny.

I love them! These clogs can be worn all day, multiple days, the day you get them (which I did during a vacation). This color also gives a very practical shoe a little fun pizzazz. This type of clog is intended to slip off slightly as one walks, so you should get a size larger than you normally wear.

I love these shoes! Had been having trouble with Plantar Fascia and these shoes have helped so much. Have worn them everyday since I got them. Going to order more colors! Worth every penny. (Ordered 1/2 size up and going by other reviews and that was perfect).

I am a health care professional constantly on my feet and these shoes are a dream. I have a narrow foot and the narrow fits very nice. I find the sizing runs a bit small. I normally wear a 10-10.5 but had to order the equivalent of a US size 12. They are extremely comfy, easy to throw on to run out the door to run errands. I wear them all the time, well worth the investment. Very sturdy.

Love them. They make me smile when wearing them and my feet are oh so comfortable. A wonderful commuter shoe, takes walking from the train to the office on various pavements (sometime wet from rain) with no signs of wear or tear.

These are my absolute favorite work shoes! 12+ hours on a hectic inpatient unit used to lead to a lot of foot/leg/back aches, until I broke down and spent the money on a pair of Dansko shoes. They improve my standing posture, have great arch support, and stand up to a lot of abuse without needing much care.

Great shoes! Comfortable from day one with no break in period. I work in a job that requires walking a lot during the day, and these keep my feet feeling great. Service with Zappos was wonderful as always. Will definitely buy more of these shoes in the future.

Zappos is great - I ordered the shoes and got them the next day. I love Danskos - I was having foot problems, but with Danskos, I can be on my feet all day with no issues.

I was nervous to buy these due to the mixed reviews, but am glad I did! I wear a size 11, so ended up with the European size 42. I also followed the advice of some reviewers and started by wearing them a little while and then a little longer each day. I'm not sure if this broke in the shoes or my feet, but now they are very comfortable and a little looser on my feet. I was having foot pain and worried they wouldn't help because they aren't very squishy inside. However, the excellent arch support has stopped my pain. These are great shoes and worth the gamble to take your time and money breaking them in!

Love these shoes! Great support if you are on your feet all day. I am a florist and stand all day designing, these shoes offer awesome arch support and look great too. I am buying other pairs in fun designs.

These are the most amazing shoes I have ever worn. I'm (usually) a 9.5 extra wide, with difficult-to-fit feet; I'm also an older, plus-size lady, so I demand comfort in a shoe first and foremost. I ordered a size 40 Wide, and they fit perfectly, although I had wondered if a "Wide" vs. my usual "Extra-wide" would be wide enough. They are, and the length is perfect, too. But the reason I say these are THE most amazing shoes ever is that these are the ONLY shoes I've EVER worn that are actually even MORE comfortable when I'm walking than when I'm sitting or standing still! I think that may have something to do with both the excellent arch support, and the "rocker" sole that seems to propel you effortlessly into your next step. These shoes seem to actually ENERGIZE me!

I bought these because I am pregnant and needed some slip-on shoes with good arch support. They are so comfortable and supportive! I find myself wearing them around the house instead of my slippers. Because of the height I did lose my balance and wobble sideways once, but otherwise a great, supportive shoe. They're not the most stylish, but I got them in the oiled brown color and I think they look fine.

These shoes are great for people who need extra support for their feet and or if they have high arches. Don't be afraid to try on multiple sizes to get the right fit and also keep in mind there are different widths. They do take a little time to get used to and break in. Also it is helpful to wear them with either a thin sock or a nurse support hose. I love these shoes they are definitely worth the money!

I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet all night. I love these shoes! They are great. My feet don't hurt at the end of the night like they do if I wear just tennis shoes. My lower back seems to be supported better with them too. They are a little tight at first, but after a couple of shifts they fit great. Wouldn't wear anything different to work!

This is my second pair of Dansko professionals and am getting a third. I bought both daughters a pair and three people at school also are getting theirs. These shoes are so comfortable! If you are on your feet for any length of time, you deserve these shoes! I get compliments every time I wear them -- stylish and comfort all in one shoe!
