I love these shoes. The shoes cradle my feet when walking fast as I work in a trauma hospital and they let me move fast! I ran marathons and ran races for 30 years and need support for my feet. When uniform vendors come to my hospital, I buy a pair to match my scrubs. I have four pairs in blue, green, red, and black. The red ones make me feel like Dorothy in "The Wizard Of Oz."

I am really pleased with these shoes. I have kind of wide feet, but these shoes actually fit very well, so that was a good thing. They look good, too.

I've had these for about a month, and they have been great whether I just got off a 22 hour airplane-fueled odyssey to a hot location or standing in 3 inches of slushy snow scraping a windshield (or trekking across a semi-cleared parking lot). They will give you a little extra height, but after the first day, I was used to it. Definitely order 1 size larger than you normally wear. If the bridge of your foot is a little rounder than normal or you want to wear thick socks/stockings, order 2 sizes up.

These are awesome shoes! Great for shopping or standing in the kitchen all day. Great arch support without being too much. However, I have very narrow feet and because I wanted them so bad after seeing all the nurses wear them (has t be something they love), I put a very thick Dr. Scholl pad in them and have to where socks in order to keep them on. Do not order a size smaller to compensate because it will hurt if your toes touch the end. Your toes are supposed to be free, as well as the heel. My daughter wears a regular width and she has t wear socks too. So, they must just run very large/wide. Regardless, I will buy a replacement pair when these wear out...if they ever do - tough, durable shoe.

I got these as my Christmas gift. They are snug across the top, but my friend who has had a pair for 10 yrs says that is how they are designed to fit. I wore them around the house all day yesterday and they seem like they are going to work for my feet.

My ex bought these for me in 2008. I have worn these the vast majority of the days, of every season until now (almost 2013). I thought these shoes were so ugly at first, but I just wore them a couple times and after that, became inseparable. If you keep them in good condition, you can wear them with dress slacks or just casual and at work (it does not matter what kind of work you do - office to server). Since they are leather, they stretched out after about a year and keep stretch a couple millimeters every year thereafter.. Now they are loose and quite scuffy. I will keep this pair for life since they will last that long! And I will get a new pair for more formal use. I tell people they are really popular in Europe and they immediately think I am a fashion queen! Tiny downside is they are kind of heavy but I like the workout. I highly recommended them. I am only 26 but for now, these are the best pair of go to shoes that I have ever had! Slip on, slip off is great for my need for efficiency!

I started wearing Dansko clogs based on the recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon ten years ago, because I have had arthritis in one foot. This Professional style is the most comfortable for me. I rarely wear other shoes!

Love them! And Zappos was so easy to deal with. Had to try them on locally but no one had my size, ordered them and they fit perfectly and there was no "break-in" period.

My husband had originally gifted me with the Professional Photo Real Patent with the knitting pattern for two reasons I'm an avid knitter and a huge fan of Danskos (my last pair lasted 12+ years). I had a total knee replacement done on my right knee less than 4-months ago and the Danskos have proven to be a life saver, they support not only my feet and knees but also my whole body, providing much needed relief from my arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have since gone on to buy the Professional in Black Patent and most recently the Ingrid slip-on in Red!

These are great shoes they are so comfortable. I suggest measure your feet and check the size chart and see the conversion from European to US. Great shoes great service even in the middle of nowhere Wyoming .

I'm a size 35 wide and have a very hard time finding shoes that fit. I have tried a regular size 35 they are to narrow and I even tried a size 36 and walked right out of them. Please let me know when the 35 wide are avaliable. I need new shoes badly.

I got these for my boyfriend, who's dealing with a stress fracture in his foot and is awaiting surgery. He loves them! They have a firm, supportive sole which allow him to walk without flexing his foot. I also have my own pair of Dansko clogs and love to use them while on long road trips, as it feels effortless to press the gas pedal. As for style, they transcend fashion trends and are much more contemporary and way less frumpy than most comfort shoes.

Not all Danskos are equal. I learned this when I bought my first pair in a store 9 months ago. I had to try on several different pairs of the same size shoe before I found the one that fit the best. Once I found that though the shoes are awesome for support and comfort. So when I bought these from Zappos (need a brown pair in addition to my black pair) I thought I might have to return the shoes. I was correct, the first pair I ordered the left shoe was a bit tight and the right shoe was way too loose. So I returned them and reordered the same shoe/size and the second pair fit perfectly! I figured if I'm going to spend this much money on shoes I better get the right fit and Zappos is great with their free shipping, super easy and super fast.

I went to the Shoe Shack to find a pair of shoes that were stylish enough but would accommodate my dr. prescribed inserts for my "sneakers". They did not have any but asked if I had tried Danskos. Because they were made for problem feet. I put on a pair and they felt very firm and supportive on my arch. I have plantar fasciitis, or flat feet. Also a bunion. I usually wear a 9 in a New Balance or Nike. I could wear a 36 in the Hand tooled Leather. I went back 2 weeks later and tried on a paint splash motif patent leather in a 38 with a sock. I have trouser socks which are thinner and crew socks which are a little thicker. I bought another pair in a black patent with gray scribble lines in a 38. I now have 3 pair and can hardly stand to wear anything else. I am so proud to have found them.I can wear my dress shoes from the car into the church and back out to the car and change back to my Danskos. I can't say anything bad about them! I do have times when I have stood a long while and my feet get tired, but never do they pain so bad that I have to sit. Love them!

I tend to have a narrow foot and these narrow width Dansko's fit well. Brief break in period needed to allow for stretch of leather. Regular width was too wide.

I love my Dansko Professional shoes. I got them immediately after foot surgery - I will be wearing them for the best foot support. Just what the doctor ordered! Thanks Zappos!

This is my 3rd pair of Dansko's and I love them! Having high arches and standing on my feet all day, these are great! They shine up with a dry cloth very nicely.

The classic Dansko Professional rides again - for good reasons. Arch support, looks, comfort, and high quality construction and materials. I feel a little bit dressed up when i slip these on with jeans, and love wearing them with skirts (and legwarmers!) too. I am very happy to finally have a new pair.

I love these shoes. Danskos are so great for walking. These are my go to shoes for walking from bus to office, in the office. I love the patent!

Luckily I had read in another Zappos customer review that your foot is not supposed to reach the back of this shoe. That is fortunate for me because my foot is small- a size 4. The 35's fit great, my foot not reaching the back of the shoe. These shoes are so comfortable I will eventually be getting them in brown also. And because the back is closed up, they are warmer than clogs.

As a young working professional, these shoes are everything I needed and more. Despite not being too "cute," my pants usually cover most of them, and my feet have never felt better! I work in a hospital and am on my feet most of the day, I do lots of walking, and run half marathons on the side. My feet are always swollen and bruised, but these shoes make them feel like heaven! These shoes run true to size and stretch out a little after a few wears, but nothing very significant.

As a male to female crossdresser I have always admired the Dansko clogs for women. Now I found them in my size EU43 and I am loving them. Very comfy and yet stylish. I own them in tooled black and copper leaves patent and love them. Easy to wear in boy and girl mode.

The first week with these shoes, I was so upset. They totally feel different than any other shoe and I couldn't get over it, but stick it out! They are so comfortable to me now. Here's the thing, I am normally a size 9, which would be a 39, but I had to go up to a size 40. They are hard! Which made me think I had to go up even another size because my toes kept hitting and I was thinking they were too small, but they weren't. The back is not supposed to be snug to your foot. It actually felt too big here at first, but that is how they should fit. These are the most supportive shoes I have ever owned. I got the patterned leather, which are cute for work. I do wish I got the not-so shiny ones, so they would have been more versatile to wear everyday, but I don't even care. I'll save my money for another pair! I have plantar fasciitis and I can stand and walk all day, and my feet feel darn good at the end of the day!
