Salomon snow clog - I really like the look of this shoe! It's also really functional in winter weather. It runs really large though, and although I ordered a full size smaller than usual, 7 instead of 8, it is still big and loose. I wish it fit tighter around the top of my foot since because it is loose snow can sneak in! Comfortable for standing and walking, and nice and warm!

Great snow shoe - Great traction and the elastic at the top keeps the snow out. I got the pewter and the suede spots pretty easily; wish I'd gone with black. I didn't mind that they were bigger than I thought (I just wear thick socks), but they're very wide also.

Snowclog for a rainy city - I wear orthotics and have been looking for a pair of winter shoes that would be a good as my old Salomon that's been discontinued. I tried these Snowclog and it fits fine w/ my orthotics in, my wide feet were very comfortable, except that the opening of the shoe was too big. They need to tighten up the elastic on that opening b/c my foot EASILY popped out. I always wear winter socks so it's not b/c my socks are too thin. It's been so hard to control my feet from slipping out while I walk that am wary of running in them. And as for the sole, it hasn't snowed yet; we hardly get snow where I'm at, but lots of rain. Not as good traction as my old Salomons. Quite slippery on some sidewalks. I wonder what they are changing in the soles? My search still continues, sadly.

WAAAY too big - I am a solid size 10, so I ordered a 10 (yes, disregarding the previous reviews) and I can't wear them. Even with thick socks (nice look with shorts) they are still too big. They are very cool looking and I'm sure with the right size, they'd be a FAB shoe.

No toe room! I typically wear a 9 and had to order an 8 for a good fit. Unfortunately, my toes on my left foot felt a bit crammed into the side of the shoe. It would help if the toe was more box shaped. Overall I this was an excellent idea as far as utility, but not a very comfortable shoe.

Difficult to fit shoe - Everyone said the Salomon snow clog ran big and to order it in a smaller size. I did that - but what I found was the heel of the shoe felt extremely large while my toes were cramped. The toebox of this shoe felt small to me while everything else felt big. I'm not sure I agree that you need to order it in a smaller size. The length of the shoe felt accurate to me - but it was the wide heel that didn't work. If I loved it, I might try my normal size with a heel cup inside to narrow that section. But I think I can find a shoe that fits me better.
