Still comfy. I ordered these because I suffered a foot/ankle sprain that resulted in significant pain and swelling. With the cut of these shoes, I was able to wear them on a recent trip without much discomfort. I had a couple of pairs years ago and was happy to find that they had changed very little.

I love these shoes. I am hard to fit as one foot is larger than other. They are so comfortable. I had the same shoe before and had hard time funding it. I had worn my old one out. A heavy leather is very uncomfortable/that is my email address. My old one adelhia.

You will never buy another pair of basic white skippy sneakers again once you try these! They are very cute and very comfortable. The canvas is slightly an off white color with a pink accent. They run very true to size. They have a low profile around the ankle, which I love. The sneakers are well made with a slimmer look (not clunky). These sneakers are perfect!

I grew up wearing Tretorns and man, have they changed! I decided to step back and get a little retro (back to my HS days), but these are definitely not the same sneakers. The fabric is thin and flimsy and also doesn't look nice and white, rather grayish or yellowed. There is no padding around the heel, it is as thin as an old pair of Keds.

Haven't worn them since the 80's, but from what I recall... I do miss the cushioned terry cloth area around the ankle. But am pleased to report they definitely have more cushion/padding on the insole. My young daughter has a pair, and hers still have the padding around ankle.

As per the other reviews, I ordered up half size and were too big. They are true to size and feel 13 again.

Just like the Tretorns of my youth. Durable, washable, but run slightly large. Not enough to size down.

These are classics. I have worn Tretorns for years. This style is comfortable and the canvas material is durable but not heavy to wear. My wish is to see this style in one or two more color choices.

I am a bit disappointed with my new Tretorn sneakers. The are not the quality of previous Tretorn's I have owned. Thinner fabric, the heal cushioning is much thinner and I have had trouble adjusting the tongue of the sneaker. My older Tretorn canvas sneakers fit much better and the quality of the canvas was much better. In the future, I doubt I will buy another pair.

I love love my new tretorns. Perfect for knocking around and the color is awesome. Comfortable from the first wear.

I wore Tretorns in 7th grade. Then they disappeared. I was so glad to find them again. I have tried others and always go back to these. I wish they would sell them in leather again.

I ordered these to go to all the theme parks with my children and they were great on my feet, very comfy.

Thank goodness I found this shoe on Zappos. It is by far the best sneaker ever made. It is comfortable, light weight and looks good with all sport clothes. Not big and bulky like most other athletic shoes. It's also washable. What's not to love. In fact, I think I will order another pair!

I just received my Tretorns the other day. They were exactly what I expected, only because I had read the previous reviews so I didn't get my hopes up. I agree with those reviews that this version of the shoe is not nearly as nice as the originals were in the 70s and 80s. The material is flimsy, they are not as padded as they used to be and even the laces are skimpy. But there are no better alternatives out there. And they are comfortable for what they are. But they are over-priced for what they are.

These shoes are very cool. I love the styling. The one issue is that they do run a little large and the arch support is pretty minimal so I would not wear them if I was going to be pounding the pavement all day.

This is not the old style Tretorn tennis shoe with a lot of padding. This is more like a sneaker. The inside of the bottom of the shoe has no padding.

I bought these shoes for my wife and she loves them. They fit great and feel even better. Even better they remind me of playing tennis at the Bedford Bluffs in Bedford NH in 1977!!! Rod Laver knew how to rock the clay courts in those days!!

This shoe is a classic! Comfortable fit, matches with every casual outfit. I will continue to buy this shoe as I have for years now.

Although I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this long time favorite tennis shoe when I bought it last year, I am ordering another pair today. They have the best heel support for my foot. The quality is nothing like the original Tretorn, no terry lining, thin canvas, thin laces and they did not old up well and I need to order a half size up. But for my 79 year old feet they still give me the best support for walking.

I feel like I'm back in high school kicking around in my Tretorns! Super comfortable - I would take these on any walking trip. I have a high arch and the support is really great. Stylish retro.

Tretorn, I am so sad! I wore Tretorns for years and was thrilled to learn they were being sold again after disappearing for years. Sadly, these are not the same wonderful shoes I loved years ago. Gone is the wonderful padding and "walking on cloud" like feeling. The soles are hard and offer no arch support. The canvas and laces appear to be made of lesser quality material. Just opening the box gave me an awful "this was made in China" using lesser quality materials. I would have gladly paid $20 more for the style sold in the 1980's which was a far superior product. Sending these back.

An old school shoe with a clean look. A comfy fit, start back the style, make a new statement with this classic look. I promise you can't go wrong. Preppy look with a hip hop style.

I've worn Tretorns (with socks) for 40 years - used to play alot of tennis in them when I was younger. Now I wear them to walk the dog, to run errands and to take short walks of a mile or so and they are perfect. I really like that I can throw them in the washer and dryer when dirty. If you have knee problems I probably would recommend another shoe with more cushioning. Tretorns have a streamlined look so can be worn with shorts/khaki skirts in the summer where chunkier looking shoes would not work.
