I needed a decent walking sandal for a trip to Positano, Italy. So tired of wearing running shoes with orthodics!! I gave these a try and I'm so glad I did! I climbed 1000's of steps and walked miles in these without getting shinsplints! They aren't sexy, but they don't scream "tourist" like sneakers either.

So comfortable! I was looking for a flip flop that didn't rub in between my toes, and also provided arch support. I have a tendency toward fasciitis if I wear flip flops or other flat shoes for too long. This flip flop molds to my foot and can be worn all day without any issues. Great shoe!

I love my New Montrail Molokini. This is my second pair, the first ones lasted five years! Well I could have gotten new ones sooner but they were really comfortable. They are truly the best I am a big girl and sometimes have foot issues, these are very comfortable for me. I do not mess with flimsy ones! The color is beautiful.

These are the only flip flops I wear! They are the best arch support out there. I have worn these for years and I do not recommend doing the instructions to heat the shoe to mold your foot. They will actually mold to your foot soon enough and when you heat them, they just break down faster. They have nice bottom sole so you don't slip around. The previous person who said there was no arch support has no clue what they are talking about. This coming from a person who wears Crocs which have zero arch support and cause foot issues to anybody who wears them. Perhaps because she was wearing them in the shower.

These are so far great. I forgot to first heat them in the oven before I put them on. Did when I remembered the next day. Not sure if too late or it's because I am a true 6.5 and I had to get a 7 which makes the arch off a tad. They are cute and will work since my others are dead. When I say true to size, yeah...to someone who wears a 7!

First of all, Zappos is wonderful to deal with. If you're looking for a flip flop that will give you support, this is the one. I am in flip flops all summer and sometimes the real flat ones can make my feet and legs ache after all day. My physical therapist said these were great - and he is very fussy about what shoes to wear. If you like the ones with no support (I do), switch off for feet sake!

Most comfortable flip-flop ever. Thanks to the Zappos customer service rep who recommended them, this will be my 3rd pair.

I have very high arches & am reluctant to put these in the oven. I wonder if they would eventually mold to your feet over time. My arches seem to sink down in them & begin to ache after 15 minutes. I have plantar fasciitis & need continuous arch support while on my feet. If these will conform to the arch & not allow your feet to sink down, they would be perfect. I'm still trying to decide whether to keep them or not. I did return the size 6 which were too long in the toe. The size 5 are perfect length in the toe but a tad short in the heel. I'd be afraid the oven could make them smaller. Wish they came in 1/2 sizes. What to do! Otherwise, these are very comfy. It's hard to find the right arch support for high arches. I've had to return several & am hoping these Montrails are it.

These form to your foot perfectly, especially if you follow the procedure for heat molding them in an oven. The arches are very high and supportive. The strap is soft and comfy. I will be buying more pairs of these.

These Montrail Molokini Sandals are the best I've ever found, esp if you stand on your feet all day. My favorite thing about them is, as soon as they arrive, you stick them in a 250 degree oven for 3 minutes and as soon as you pull them out step into them for a few more minutes...molding them right to the shape of your feet. The arch is solid in this sandal and provides excellent support. It took almost 3 years for my 1st pair to wear out, and I'm still using them. I really appreciate Zappos for speedy service in shipping my 2 new pairs. I had them in 2 days of ordering! Excellent shoes-excellent service!

Too large! I've bought this Montrail flip flop at least 4 times, they are extremely comfortable but with this order (tropical & black) they are way too big. It seems like the thong/strap is 2 sizes too large. Returning only the tropical pair since I wore the black outside before I realized they were way too big. Will try again with Size 9 to see if same thing occurs. Reviews are based on my previous delight with the flip flops but for this one order size is too large.

The Montrail was recommended by my Physical Therapist. They are the best support shoe for people with heel/arch issues. I love the color also!

I love these flip flops. Soft and supportive. Conforms to foot contour. Excellent arch support. The black footbed is not pretty thus wouldn't wear to fancy event, but hey, if my feet are happy. I'm happy!

This is my second pair, because they have become my go-to flip flops. I have bad (and tired) feet, which is why I love the moldable footbed allowing my foot to be fully supported. They're a little wide for an average woman's foot, but even with that they're easy to walk in.

This is the third pair that I have purchased. I have had surgery on my feet and need shoes with good support. These are great shoes and Zappos is the place to buy them. Fast service, free shipping, good selection & comparable prices.

I like these flip-flops. They are a little strange looking but very comfortable. I have high arches and they feel good to me. The toe area is a little long.

I love these flip flops for the greater support they give my feet. I don't use flip flops for long walking events because I feel my feet need greater support. That said, I love them around the house, when I'm out for shopping and when poolside. I looked long for a pair with this type of support. I tried these based on other reviews and was not disappointed!

These shoes are very comfortable. I like the feature to heat them in the oven and allow them to mold to your feet while still warn. I have flat feet, so this helped make them extra comfortable. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8. After reading other envies, I decided to order a 7. They fit perfectly. I will definitely order these in more colors. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but definitely comfortable and durable.

I have four pairs of these - two older and two I bought this summer. I am a flip flop person but after a bad bout of plantar fascitis which lasted for over a year, these (and some Ortha-heel sandals) became my go-to shoes for summer because of their great arch support. I didn't do the oven-warm with the first two pairs and they are finally starting to break down after having them for maybe 5 or 6 years. But they are still comfortable and the two newer pairs feel fantastic.

Montrail makes the only flip flop my plantar fascitis can handle. This flip flop has a high arch and a lightweight sole, making walking around for a day pain free. Thank you Montrail!

These are great - too wide for me so I gave them to my friend who LOVES them. Cuter than they look in the picture.

I think this is my 5th pair of Montrail Molokini's, and probably my second or third review. They are, by far, the most supreme of flip flops. Whether you heat them in the oven as recommended or simply wear them and let them conform to your feet, they are so comfortable and supportive. There's nothing worse than having to wear shoes/socks/orthotics throughout the summer. These give plenty of support to see you through those hot days. You can never replace the support given by custom orthotics, but these Molokini's will give you a much needed break in comfort and style, even for just an afternoon by the pool, the beach, or just lounging around the house.

These are fabulous flip flops. I wore them around the house for a day before heating them in the oven, just to make sure they would be ok. They fit fine before i put them in the oven, but then fit better after warming them up and then molding them to my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and so really needed something with good arches and these are great.

These flip flops are the most comfortable that I have ever worn. They are well worth the price. They have support and are so soft, that I can wear them all day.
