These are nice, but a little too loose and floppy on my skinny feet. Also, I think they are kind of clod-hopper looking.

This pair of Montrail Molokini flip flops are well constructed and very sturdy. I found that they required a second warming in the oven to get them to really feel like they were conforming to my foot. The color scheme is exactly as the photo displayed.

Very comfortable foot bed. However, the inside of the thong strap, along the seam, is a little rough. I am going to wear them and hope that the inside seam softens.

You need to heat this product and mold to your foot. I need to do this again, as I don't think I did it properly. I like the style and the sole is thick, I cannot wear the flip-flops with zero support (even though I would rather go barefoot everywhere!) These are nice shoes.

I have this sandal and bought it solely because the reviews spoke of the arch support and the comfort. What I found is that the length is fine (I ordered a size 9 and I wear a 9 1/2 - 10 medium), but this shoe is geared toward wider feet. Maybe because it was too wide for me, I didn't find the arch support anything special. Sure, it's more support than the typical flip flop out there, but I was hoping for something "more". The footbed material is extremely comfortable, as is the piece that goes between your toes. I didn't find that heating it in the oven, as suggested, made it fit any better. It's a good knock around casual sandal that is nice and squishy to walk on...but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs a ton of arch support.

The Montrail Molokini flips feel very odd to me...as if only part of my foot is standing on a rubber platform. I have a lot of foot problems and I'm too nervous to wear these as I don't want to make my problems worse. I can't wear flips for too many hours. I prefer the Montrail Women's Lithia Flip...which I can wear for a couple hours, and it has arch support and feels more "normal" on my foot.

These flip flops do look a little different but they have their pros and cons. Since I wear an 8 / 8 1/2 and I have a wide foot. With that in mind I ordered a size 8 and a size 9. The size 8 was definitely too small for my foot. Seems to me the toe strap is set about a 1/4 inch to far back on the footbed which leaves to much toe room on the front of the shoe and your heel off the back. When I tried the size 9 it fits my foot well enough but it I definitely have to much toe room. The footbed has a very nice arch and in most cases feels pretty good. I have PF and I tend to be a supinator. I am not sure these will work with that condition but I think I will keep the 9 to use as my pool shoes.

I wish these fit! I wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered the 9...huge. Then I ordered the 8 when they were back in stock. Still too big. I need to try a 7 but it is out of stock. I haven't worn a 7 in anything since I was a teenager. Oh well, these have to go back. I can tell that they would be great if they fit. There truly is excellent arch support and deep heel cup for those who over pronate - while still being comfy, easy to slip on, and well made. They aren't beautiful, but they are flip flops; the type you wear to the beach, pool, walking around but not for a fancy soiree.

Healing flip-flops -
I didn't buy these for looks but because they have a stabilizing sole and outstanding arch support. I was told they were designed for people with plantar fasciitis. They are radically comfortable, even if a bit "snow-shoe-ish." If you're looking for cute and feminine, this is not your flip-flop (try Reef's, most have good arch support and are adorable)—but they're not ugly either!

One of the most comfortable shoes on the market. But I've had better, they are just hard to find. A bit wide for anyone with a narrow foot. Nothing exciting just basic flip flop - so it's overpriced.

I picked this sport sandal after thorough research. I was looking for a comfort thong for after running, hiking, and golfing. The size 8 (my normal) was too large. It was made for very long toes. They were boats that looked and felt ridiculous. Clown sandals. I traded them for size 7's. They were the right length, but after baking and walking around in them in my house for hours, I began to develop a blister on my inside arch. They were too narrow. If they came in half sizes, it probably would've been perfect. We will never know. A lot of baking and comfort hooey that did not apply to me.

First, I didn't think this sandal looked as good in person as it did on the website. Second, I don't spend a lot on flip flops unless I'm crazy about them. Third, I didn't know about the bake them in the oven fit thing until I opened the box. I thought that sounded interesting, but I quite sure I wouldn't be able to send them back after doing that. So I decided to pass on the Molokini.

I have an older pair of these shoes and they were the only shoes that my feet were happy in when I had a lot of foot pain due to plantar fasciitis. I wear them around the house as slippers. But, I was super disappointed to get this new pair and see the lower quality than what I had purchased in a running shoe store. These shoes have little bumps of material all over them, like shoe warts. It's very strange; my original pair is smooth and well-made. I don't know how these got past any kind of quality control, it's like no one bothered to inspect them. I'm returning the shoes and may just buy them in person in a store again.

These shoes were comfortable, but nothing special. I needed something with support for my arches, and these were two squishy for me. I don't think molding them to my feet would have made much of a difference.

Weird Arch -
This shoe got great reviews from people. They my just NOT be the shoe for me. They were clunky in the arch area and I know they would have given me pain.
I live in Hawaii and wear flips all the time. Merrell and Reef and Timberland are much better for the money. These had very little bang for the buck!!! (I bought black...perhaps another color... no... they didn't feel good)
I wear 8, bought 8.5, which was correct in this shoe.
PS>> If you LIKE the Negative-Heel style these may appeal to you. (Like Earth shoes.)
Thanks anyway, Zappos. I love your store and recommend you to ALL my friends! Great service!

Well I have to say I was truly disappointed with this flip flop !! I have been on a mission to find the best for my feet. I too suffer from plantar fascitis and Achilles tendinitis (sp). I had surgery and my Ortho Dr. advised me to even wear a shoe while showering to avoid any pressure or pull on tendon while recovering. So with that said I went through several pairs of Crocs and wanted something that would be more stable on my foot and not let my foot slide around or off to the side. I was curious to see how well the footbed would work with heating it up in the oven and I also bought the insoles as well. I have worn my flip flop for over a month and they are just not worth the money at all! Several issues if you ask me. The straps are too loose for one so foot slides all around . Second after several wears the footbed is like slick as a whistle and not arch support at all! I feel I spent my 60bucks for nothing and should have not second guessed myself and returned them the next day but didn't I didn't and shame on me. I will give them A+ for colors but design team needs to go back to the drawing board.

These shoes are comfortable at first, but after you wear them and if you have somewhat of a flat foot, they will be painful. The arch is too high, so when I walked in them most of the pressure was on the arch of my foot resulting in cramps on my toes, legs and pain in my left ankle. If you have any foot problems, I would not advise you to buy these.

So ugly. I don't care how comfortable these sandals are. I put these on my feet for all of 10 seconds - waiting to see if the comfort could win me over. Nope. Just too ugly. The area of the sandal that is under the arch is so wide and unflattering. There are sandals that are just as comfortable that don't make me feel like I have duck feet.

As wonderfully smushy as the sole was, they were too snug for my flat foot. The strap rubbed against the inside arch of my foot and caused immediate irritation. I was so sad!

I was so disappointed that these sandals weren't comfortable for me! While the footbed was nice, squishy and provides strong arch support, I found that the thong fabric/ material would dig into my toes and it hurt. I couldn't walk very far without feeling the chafing pain between my toes. Perhaps it was because I have wider feet although I haven't experienced this issue with other flip flops of regular width. So sad.

Bought these after reading great reviews. They are comfortable, but really ugly. I'm not impressed because for the money, they should have made a flattering shoe along with the comfort factor. These look like you're walking around on a tire! Soles stick out too far. If you're only looking for a comfy thong, give them a try. If you'd like to receive compliments on your shoes, however, these aren't your huckleberry. They were too ugly to make the cut when I packed for Barbados!

Montrail Molokini's rock -
The most comfortable sandals I have ever worn...they were comfy before the oven and even more comfy after the oven. I wear them every day. I bought a spare pair to prepare for when they wear out...but they are not showing much signs of wear, despite heavy use.

Not a fan of the underside in the latest version. The support of the footbed is remarkable and the best ever for a flip flop, but they changed the design of the top - making ridges on the underside that rub on your feet, ruining the comfort of the flip flop, as these will definitely cause biltering on the top of your foot on a warm day until you build callouses where the straps cross your instep.

These were recommended to me by my physical therapist after recovering from a broken foot. They are amazingly comfortable. And, they come with instructions to custom-fit the foot bed to your foot! They have good traction, too, so they are safe for walking outdoors. This is the second pair I have bought, and I wear them a lot in the summer and around the house.
