I love Birkenstocks these are my go-to shoes slides sandals I've had back surgery and they always make me feel grounded

Size down! I originally bought these in a 42R, the size of all of my birk sandals, and they felt like clown shoes. If I tried I could probably kick the clog all the way across the room. So I called customer service and they were really helpful and helped me weigh my option. I dedcided to go down to a 41R and they fit like a glove!!! I wear a women’s 11 sometimes a 12 but ordering the 41 (10-10.5) was the best fit here. They’re a bit wider than and sandals but I really like that for my wide-ish foot. The mocha color is more gray green than brown IMO but I’m not too mad about that.

These are very comfortable shoes! There was no break in time. I have arthritis in my right foot and Birkenstocks give great support. They are wide enough to allow me to wear with socks in cool weather. I plan to wear them around the house and out for short shopping trips.

For years I've lived in my Arizona Birkenstocks. Last year I added a pair of Mayari sandals. But winter is coming, and I now live in the part of the country that frowns on socks and sandals! So I bought these Bostons, and I love them. I have plantar fasciitis and very high arches, and most shoes do not work well for me. In fact, I've had other Birks that weren't very comfortable. But these three styles are the best I've found - and to make things even better, they are available in a narrow width.

I have a number of Birkenstock sandals, and normally take a size 37 regular, so I originally ordered these in the same size. They are much wider than the sandals, it seems, and even with super thick wool socks, they are still quite roomy for me. I had to send these back and order them in the narrow width, which is perfect. I haven't worn these out of the house yet, but I expect I'll love them just as much as my sandals.

I wear a women's size 10 running shoe and the 41 fits well with regular socks. I wear medium width, and they feel pretty loose, so they can probably accommodate a wide foot. I know people who wear Birkenstock put comfort above style, I myself am a big fan. So as long as everyone is ok with "bad grandpa" shoes, which I could care less, then these are awesome.

I love these. My first pair lasted 17 years (no joke). They get more comfortable the more you wear them and they’re easily resoled when they wear out.

Love the brand! Birks aren’t the most attractive shoe but are the most comfy!

I love the mule but found if it is unisex and you are a lady with a narrow foot need to order the narrow. The regular width was too wide.

These are simply amazing shoes. I had two pairs in high school (mid 1990s)... a blue pair that I wore out and a tan pair that I got new and shortly thereafter they were “not cool anymore”.... somehow they got put away and held onto for all these years. 20 years later I am wearing them on the regular again all winter log around my house and my feet have never been happier! They still look brand new! Not sure how I afforded these (or convinced my parents to fork out for them) back in 1996 but they were worth it!!! And they’re cool again! (Although truly Birks have always cool in my book ??)

I have worn this exact same sued shoe and size for many years, and I love it, so when it wore out, I ordered another pair. In the new pair, the leather on top was so soft or thin that it flops down, and I could not slip into the shoes but had to sit down and put them on as if they were tie shoes. That's not what I want to do for casual use. Nor is it the same as in my previous pair. I've returned the new pair, disappointed. I'll try either another leather or another style. Thanks to Zappos, that's easy to do.

There's a reason Birks have been around so long. These are fantastic quality, and my feet feel good even after 12hrs of being on my feet. I've recently discovered the soft footbed and that's the only thing that makes the Boston better!

Bought these for my son, his 4th pair over the last ~8 yrs....these are worn daily and have remained a consistent in his shoe stock.

Birkenstock makes a wonderful shoe, very comfortable. Zappos makes it easy when buying.
