I liked it, a pretty shoe, but not as much support as I could have hoped. It looked good on paper, and I wore it for a while, but finally put it in the Amvets bag because it just didn't seem to have the extra something my pronating problem feet needed. Maybe I expected too much from this style--straps rather than full enclosure.

The reviews I read made me believe these were the shoes for my walking trip. Unfortunately the shoe bed was too firm and the footbed did not fit me comfortably. Am afraid these have to go back

Very cute shoe but it runs small and narrow. Sad to send this back, because I really liked it and needed a casual, everyday sandal.

These sandals are well made. The problem is that the back of the sandal with the adjustment is very irritating from the moment I tried it on.

I wanted this sandal to replace jogging shoes on city walks. After 1 hour in warm weather both big toe knuckles were hot spots and starting to blister. I do not know if it is fit related: the toe strap cannot really be tightened and the buckle etc is right over where the hot spots formed. And of course my feet were moving inside the sandals with each step. They are very comfortable and well constructed for standing and maybe even slower or shorter walking, my feet loved them until they didn't!

Really had high hopes for this shoe -- so cute and only slightly snug (wish they offered wide) but when walking on my tile floor, had an annoying squeak.

The white sole Yucatán is thinner and more flexible than the grey sole on most of the other Ecco Yucatán sandals. I returned them because the sole was not substantial enough for what I wanted. I have two other pairs of Ecco Yucatáns with grey soles that are more comfortable and provide greater padding and protection to the bottom of the foot.

The front of the shoe is very tapered on the outside, so it really only works for those with perfectly ordered toes. If you have a bunion or such, this will be a problem. I ordered my usual size, but my toes are on the very edge of the sandal, which is annoying. I wish it had better arch support. The strap across the toes doesn't adjust very much because of the neoprene strap, which while stretchy, is not adjustable. The strap near the ankle on the other hand, is too wide. So it's almost made for someone with wide ankles and narrow toes. This might be solved for me by a larger size, which I have ordered. The foot bed is nice and cushy, and they are light, not bad looking. The straps do not irritate because they are nicely cushioned. The heel height is good for me, and the soles look seriously grippy. If the larger size doesn't fit better, it will be back to Teva's for me. They have better arch support and a more rounded toe. But if you have better feet that happen to fit the sizing, these would be great. Too bad they don't come in half sizes.

I decided to keep these and have been wearing them. I like the fact that they are adjustable at toe, over instep and at heel. However, the arch support was not as good as I would like, so I bought some arch support pads which seem to do the job. Also, the sandal is rubbing my toe, so I will have to wear Band-Aids to prevent blistering. I am hoping they will soften up as I wear them. So, so far not ideal, but seem to be the best I can find. I hope they work out, as summers are very hot where I live and putting on shoes and socks becomes uninviting.

after 10 month, the stitching on the inside padding came undone, and the ankle and back straps are each 2 " too long for my foot.

I'm very confused by this shoe and the reviews. My right foot only measures just a smidge past normal width at the ball of the foot due to arthritis. My feet are "skinny" top to bottom and you can trace all the bones in my foot with your finger. In other words, I do not have pudgy feet. This sandal is actually fairly good in the toe box region. Everything fits nicely, not tight. Its the midfoot that has me confused. The arch area medially at the center of my foot protrudes past the footbed. I can see if I had a flat foot, but my arches actually border on being high. If I wear this sandal and then take it off you can see the indentation from the medial edge of the footbed on my arch. It seems my arch in just this area (near the heel pad) extends beyond the footbed. I have never had a sandal do this before. I do agree the support is awesome and I love the heel pad area. I am however, afraid to wear this sandal for any long amount of walking. When I hold this sandal up to other walking and/or hiking sandals I own, it is obvious that this footbed is skinny at the midfoot. Back to my searching I guess.

Love the look and the color but the arch support wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Also, the toe adjustment was limited and didn't accomodate my foot.

I loved the fit and support, but the color from the upper leather stained my feet every time I wore them. It looked like I had some terrible circulation problem with the top of my feet purple and bruised looking. Friends who have other colors have not had problems. I returned them.

Love the color of this sport sandal! Very supportive, too. But they were very tight across the forefoot and the velcro strap is really just for show as it adjusts nothing. What a disappointment, especially in such an expensive shoe.

I am so discouraged! I ordered 6 pairs of shoes (Ecco, Merrell & Keen). All 6 are going back tomorrow. Seems to me that comfortable, sturdy, well-made shoes that look good are a thing of the past. This shoe was the best of the lot. Unfortunately, the footbed fit weirdly. The arch was too far back & the bed just didn't provide the comfort/padding that I would need on the 10k walks I routinely do.

I have just ordered these and right out of the box they are very comfortable. One problem was after about 40 minutes of wear I felt like the bottom of my feet were on fire? what is the footbed material? love the comfort and want to keep them but not sure about the issue with the heat build up. Has anyone else had this!

Bought these based on the hundreds of glowing reviews but there is just not enough arch support for my aching feet. I am very disappointed because they are well cushioned, fit well, and sturdy. But after about an hour of shopping- I needed to sit down and rub my arches. (My feet are old, though!) I will attempt to put in some arch supports (A challenge in sandals!!) so I can wear them without worry.

Want to buy another pair but...the width issue as was mentioned by another reviewer leaves me cautious. Unfortunately they do not have a wider version and my foot is not that wide. The toes feel pinched. The uppers wore well but the heel wore down eventually and now it is either get them resoled for $90 including shipping or buy new and break them in again. A quandary indeed.

I bought these two years ago and they were great, until they got wet. I stepped in dog poop and had to wash the soles. The footbed and straps got a little wet. I let them dry outdoors and since then they hurt my feet after less than an hour. Very disappointing, as they look like rugged outdoor sandals.

With all the great reviews I was really counting on these as my vacation shoes. I ordered my size 39 (8-8½). They look narrow, the Velcro toe strap is mainly for show. They also bent my feet in an odd way. I am sticking to my more casual but more comfortable Tevas.

These shoes would be very comfortable if there was not an edge where the insole meets the side of the shoe. This cuts into the sides of my foot so that I cannot wear the shoes.

Very comfortable and comfort right out of the box. I took them on a trip to Florida a couple of weeks ago and they look athletic but not clunky. However, after having worn them for a day, the parts of the shoe where the straps met my feet left stains on my feet. The dye came off on my feet. So am not happy with that, hence the three star rating.

Nice, but... This is a nice looking sandal and the fit is good. However, the upper layer of the sole that your foot rests on does not work well for me. I have high arches and my foot slides as I walk. I got calluses on my feet within an hour of wearing these sandals. I get much better support and can walk all day in my Teva and Keen sandals. They provide much better support and I can get them at a much lower price than these.
