I wanted to like these sandals. Although the strap across the toes is adjustable, there is a another piece underneath which isn't adjustable. As a result, the sandals were not comfortable across the toes.

A little tight across the toe area but i'm sure the leather will stretch after wearing a few times. They are pretty comfy. I have worn 3 times now & they are getting better. I got this color becasue it was on sale & it looks good.

The quality was great, but unfortunately they felt tight. the strap across the front is not adjustable.

I would have given these 5 stars all the way but the arch did not hit my foot in the right place. I’ve tried on so many shoes that don’t fit properly I’m not sure what to try next. Even the expensive Mephistos I bought last year stretched out so much they were dangerous I tripped so much. I thought this type of sandal would be perfect but not so. I highly recommend if you have the right foot. Zappos has the best service.

This sandal was too narrow for my wide foot and it cannot be adjusted. Style was too heavy-looking for me also.

It was too narrow for my foot and so the top part hurt when I walked. Despite the three point adjustment, I could not make it comfortable.

This sandal fit fine but did not have much arch support or cushion on the sole. I was looking for something that would give me all-day comfort. My previous sandal was an Abeo Huntington hiking sandal and I could hike for hours in those. I think I am going back to that. Costs less and gives your more.

Have always loved this sandal and ordered in the past several times. BUT they changed the cut outs on the upper outer side of the shoe. Made it bigger! Now little toe snags in it. Thought maybe a fluke and tried another pair, but it was the same. Compared them to my old ones and there definitely is a difference in hole size. So sad. They were the perfect sandal.

I have hammer toes and these sandals don't work at all for me. Not only do they run small and narrow, the toe portion turns up, which compounds my toe issues. They look like wonderful, well made sandals. I was hopeful, but nope, I'll be returning them.

I'm a rarity I guess, since these didn't work for my feet. The aubergine/mauve color, however, is beautiful! The size 41 was a good fit for my 9.5 feet in length, but these are too narrow (horizontally, the foot bed) for my C-D width feet. The foot bed is also too firm for my bony feet and there is no arch support. These sandals are very well made, however, and would be very good for very narrow feet that don't require much arch support.

I have worn and loved the Ecco Yucatan for years. My old sandals fit perfectly and the arch support kept my knee from hurting. However, it appears that Ecco has made a change. The toe strap is much tighter (and only has the ability to tighten, not loosen) and the arch support is not as pronounced. Slight changes, but they are there on multiple pairs that I have tried. They are a deal breaker for me and I am so very disappointed. I appreciate Zappos service! They are the best!

These are attractive for a sports sandal. I was excited to receive them. However, they are too narrow through the toe area for me, and as others have mentioned that strap is not adjustable. Perhaps one could make it narrower, but you cannot make it wider. I am disappointed to have to return them.

Disappointing! The description is incorrect. The top strap is not adjustable. It is decorative. I have problem feet, and an adjustable top strap is required. My friends loves these sandals, so I am giving it an average rating. It looks like it is well built. I wish I could have worn it.

These didn't work out for me. The strap across the toe was not wide enough. Since the neophrene part under the adjustable strap is fixed, there is no way to make it any wider. My foot isn't that wide, but it felt squeezed in. I even tried two sizes, but both felt this way. Sadly, I returned both. It's too bad that ECCO doesn't offer a Wide in this shoe.

Beautiful merlot color. If the width at the toe box was a bit wider or adjustable I may have been able to keep these. I’m very disappointed because I wear a 43 and cannot size up unless I buy a men’s color. Please consider adding more adjustability to the front strap area. The Velcro strap can maybe tighten a loose fitting sandal, but if u have a wider foot (between medium and wide) then there is no way to make it larger. Very disappointed that I cannot get a more feminine looking color!

I'm typically a 7 or 7.5, even wear an 8 in some athletic shoes. The size 38 for 7-7.5 was too big. I need a lot of support in my shoes and these did not seem sturdy enough.

I loved the support, but the part that goes over the toe was a deal breaker for me. The strap will tighten the top but not give more room. I simply will not wear a shoe that's even a little uncomfortable. I'm going to try Keens.

This shoe digs into my instep and causes pain. I am not sure if i can figure out a way to cover the rough spot where the strap joins the bed of the shoe. Maybe putting some dr. scholl's felt over the spot will help.

Makes no sense, but this shoe just does not adjust to fit! The heel strap is too loose and if tightened enough, it throws the foot forward, which then makes the front strap too tight. It looks to be adjustable, but the solid piece across the toes keeps that from happening. Very disappointing!

I'll be returning these. The top strap is not adjustable as it appears to be, so it will not accommodate my feet. I ordered my size but the shoe felt short and tight.

I had such high hopes for this shoe. The footbed is very comfortable and although it's not a classy sandal, I do think it looks pretty cool. However, the toe strap is not really adjustable at all. You can make it slightly tighter but not looser and it's tight to begin with! I thought I had narrow feet but I had blisters by the end of the day. The other straps are very comfortable. However, they're all so thick and made of heavy neoprene that my feet was almost as hot as when I wear sneakers. It wasn't very pleasant. They felt very sturdy and I'm sure they'd be nice to walk long distances in if the toe strap isn't tight on your feet.

I am a size 12 and have three pairs of this style, but they are the men's version. Love Ecco brand. With these now in size 12 ladies I hoped for a better fit then the men's, but they were snug all around. Bummer.

These sandals fit perfectly. When my ankles looked pronated, I checked inside the shoe and sure enough there is no arch support. For those with flatter feet, these would work. With my higher arch, not so much. The Ecco style that works well for me is out of stock.
