I love Ecco shoes, but the heel strap on these is made too big even in it’s tightest position. I did find the footbed all that comfortable with very little arch support. Returned.

Love how they look on my feet, very comfortable. However, like a previous reviewer mentioned, when they got wet the stitchings on the underside rubbed and caused blisters on the sides of my feet after a couple hours of hiking. My daughter had the same problem too with these sandals as I bought 2 pairs for our Costa Rica trip. Problem solved after pulling on socks to wear inside the sandals. For the rest of our vacation we had to place moleskin on the blisters in order to wear the sandals, so disappointed.

I had ordered these because I had a pair of this style previously, which I liked. However, because the straps are leather, instead of the cloth of my other pair, I can't wear them because there is not enough give to accommodate my bunion. They need to be returned, unfortunatey.

I ordered 2 of the same size and style in different color. apparently one is a newer model, which felt good, fit and comfortable ok, but color (RED) looked plasticy... this one -the off white, was from a previous model (?) and was too short in the toes area. both had to go back. they R very well crafted, comfortable and ok arch support- altho I wish I could wear my 1/2 orthotics with it...

Though these have support and are rugged, I found the foot bed too hard, and the arch made my feet tilt in strangely. Not every comfortable shoe is comfortable to every foot. Thanks Zappos for your return policy.

I wanted walking sandals sturdier and more waterproof than my Naot sandals and softer inside than my Keens. I read the reviews, tried these. The sizing felt normal but I found the footbed hard, with a high arch that somehow tilted my foot in. Just passing my story along. Thanks Zappo's for your return policy.

Ran narrow and the toe strap is not adjustable.

I last bought Ecco Yucatan 3 years ago, and I loved them. This version is stiffer (uppers and base), and the footbed molding is less comfortable. Sadly, I returned them. Also while i previously wore a 37, that size was big and the 36 was small.

This woman’s size 12 fit the size 11 foot in Lenght. The width was too narrow. Ended up ordering a size 10-10.5 men and that fit well both Lenght and width.

These felt great when I first put them on, but I walked several miles and ended up with a blister on the back of one heel, and the sandals felt very hard after a while — not cushioned like a Sneaker would be. For the price I’m disappointed. I wish I’d ordered a larger size but I went with my usual size.

These shoes fit good and looked great but there wasn't enough cushioning for my sensitive feet. Love Zappos and I'll keep looking. Appreciate your great return policy and service.

These would have been really great shoes for me, except the arch is positioned too far back for my high arches. After wearing them a few hours, it felt like the arch support was just off, and started hurting the pad of my heel. The other issue is I thought all the straps were open and adjustable, but the one across the toe area is solid underneath, with the strap on top, so you really can't adjust it. They felt great at first, and I only noticed the arch support being "off" after wearing them, so I won't be able to return them.

The left one fit perfect and was very comfortable. The right one was too small and wasn't straight on my foot as I walked, no matter which way I adjusted it. I think there might be a manufacturing flaw in the right one because I've never had that issue before. If not for the wonky right shoe, I would give five stars.

Absolutely loved the color combination of these sandals but they ran narrow in the forefoot. If I left the leather strap "un-velcroed" the stretchy material was comfortable. But when I fastened the strap it became tight on the side of my big toe and was very uncomfortable. Fastening the strap partially allowed the velcro to be exposed which didn't look aesthetically pleasing. So sad that I will have to return these.

Disappointed. I have other Ecco shoes. for a 9-9.5 (40) these are small and are lacking in the arch support and cushion of a similar pair of these sandals that I have. I will have to exchange them for another style in hopes of more cushion and support.

I have loved these sandals in the past but now the strap across the top of the foot is fixed. One can tighten it but not loosen it and it is too tight for me.

Really liked the looks of these, but not enough arch support and the straps rubbed.

This is my fourth pair of this sandal. Unfortunately, something has either changed with my feet or the shoe. The arch support hurts my feet. It has been my go-to shoe for many years. I have bunions and hammertoes, so I even wore this shoe all last winter, with socks. Not too cool but it felt so good. The velcro is now worn out so I needed new ones. I tried two different sizes, even thought something was defective. So sad! I loved this shoe!! I am so grateful for Zappos and their amazing customer service and return policy.

These fit fine but there was little support and very little arch as compared to other Ecco shoes I own. Really wanted to try them but after a couple try ones I opted for keens instead.

Honestly, I liked the shoe, but for me it just didn't measure up to the high cost. Basic sport sandal style, and other color combos can be had for much less than $135. The three star rating factors in the cost, so if cost is not a consideration for you, consider this a solid 4.

These had superb reviews so I expected better! First of all, that adjustable-look toe strap isn't really adjustable. Underneath the velcro is an elastic strap that doesn't open up...you have to slip your foot in underneath the elastic. So if the elastic strap is too tight (which mine was), then the velcro makes no difference whatsoever. I have average width feet, and I found these to be too narrow everywhere, but most especially around the toes. If only they had been truly adjustable with the velcro, they might have been keepers. Back they go!

Attractive shoes. However, if you need extra space across the toe area, they do not expand. There is a very tight elastic strap beneath the velcro strap at the front of the shoe that does not give.

I was shocked when I put these on and did not like them! This would have been my fourth pair and they always fit like a glove right out of the box. These felt like the straps dug into my foot in strange places, and had some sharp edges. The soft liner part of the straps bunched up and made some uncomfortable pressure points. Overall, despite being the exact same size as my last pair, they did not fit right or feel comfortable.

Normally I wear a 9-9.5 M sandal. These looked smaller just by eyeing them right out of the box. They are a size small for sure! Returned them and got the 10-10.5 M size (I never order that size) but the next size up fit perfectly in the length and even in the width. Just a warning, they really run a size small.
