I love these sandals, however they need to be wider. Only having an option for narrow and regular is leaving out a large portion of potential customers. I’m also rather sad that their more feminine styles stop at size 11 (42). I have size 12-12.5 (women) and really never get to wear feminine shoes or sandals.

I have narrow feet and wear a size 8 (a true 8), based off the reviews I ordered a size 38 (7-7 1/2). The right shoe fit perfectly, but the left shoe fit a little too small which is strange(I’ve never had this happen before). Zappos always has fast shipping and awesome customer service!

Love these Birkenstocks! I originally ordered my actual US size (10) only to find that the Birkenstocks are very specific fittings. Mine ran large. I ended up returning and getting 2 European sizes smaller and found it was a perfect fit. Birkenstocks also offers a sizing chart on their website. Would recommend to anyone!

My foot is long and narrow. Sandals usually turn sideways as I walk so I need to have a strap around my ankle to keep them in place. I wanted some comfortable slip-on shoes mostly to wear around the house and even though I’ve avoided Birkenstock’s because of their earthy-hippie look, I was desperate. So I ordered these. The fit is adjustable and they are perfect there. However, the footbed is extremely hard. Not comfortable at all at first. I decided to keep them anyway and now that I’ve had them awhile, they’re starting to become mine. I’m starting to even kind of like the way they look.

I bought 5 pairs of this sandals. I’m taking them to India for my relatives. I like shopping with Zappos . They have great customer service.

Great shoes that’ll last a long time. Not for flat footed people though as the arch is quite high. But if you have medium to high watch these will be super comfortable. Also feel like they run about 1/2 size big.

I bought these for my daughter, she loves them and thinks they are super comfortable. They do run a full size larger. They are just your average birks! Just size down from your regular size, or you will be exchanging :)

I bought these to replace a completely destroyed pair of the same shoe that was years old. My old pair were real leather and these are Birko-Flor. I bought the Birko-Flor to save money, but I do miss the feeling of real leather. These look fine, they just feel fake if you touch them. They even feel fake when I slip my feet inside. The footbeds are the same, great, Birk footbeds. Great shoes, but upgrade to the real leather if you can afford it!

Purchase open back sandal because of a bruised Achilles tendon. Sandal is comfortable but stiff and it takes some time to adjust to the rigid sole. I like the style and despite the absence of a rear strap you foot has reasonable stability because of the contours in the sandal. Synthetic straps don't have the same look of leather but then again you saved a few bucks.

My son had to have due to the style, not the brand. He loves them and wears them all the time. Unfortunately, the cork is already starting to break apart a little in the front, but if he gets a full season of wear out of them, they are still worth it. He loves them. They run a little big.

I have been wanting this style for awhile. I had picked my size according to the sizing instructions, but needed 2 sizes smaller before getting the right size (38 to a 36). At first, very uncomfortable and my feet hurt; they are starting to form to my foot, so it's better. I'm sure I will love them in due time. Considering, I am still happy I got them.

Love these sandals! They have great support...good when you walk around a lot. Footbed is a little hard, but much better then rubber flip flops I normally wear!

I'm a men's size 8 (9.75" foot), and the Birk size chart recommended a size 40, which was way too big. I ended up with a size 38, which the chart says corresponds to a men's size 5! Why is their size chart so badly off? Anyway, once I found the right size, the fit is good. Deducting one star because of the inaccurate sizing.

Great spring & summer sandal - I found this sandal to be stiffer than most Birkenstocks I've purchased but they are a strong comfort provider when I need the support. As always the fit is great for my wide feet and high arches.

Love the colors available!! I wish that Birkenstock would provide more options for the foot bed of their great shoe!! I love their soft foot bed, but why don't they offer it in awesome creative colors?? I teach art, am an artist and love to wear what makes me smile and other people!! The foot bed of this Arizona Birk is hard and high in the arch area for me. But I love the color!! I use a hammer and hammer down the arch area and wear them!! ? Birkenstock's "Arizona" After an ankle/foot injury, I needed a roomy shoe with lots of arch support. My son recommended Birkenstock, because he likes his. I ordered them wider than I normally would have, and they "work" (perhaps a bit too roomy) when I wear heavy socks. I still need the open back style with good arch support, so I'm wearing these shoes everyday. Hopefully, they will grow even more comfortable as I wear them. They feel longer than my usual size 9. They look good with khakis and jeans!

Suggested for foot pain from my Dr. These sandals where suggested to me by my Dr for foot pain from Planter fasciitis. The bottom is very stiff like a board which gives good foot support and arch support. They do make my foot feel better and I use them around the house. Not the best looking Sandal around but I need them for comfort.

Birkenstock's Arizona (Birko-Flor™) size problem - I wear US men’s size 10 1/2 and used your size chart to order a size 43 (men’s 10-10 1/2 = 43) even though my old Birks were size 40. The 43's were at least 3/4 of an inch to long so I exchanged them for size 41 which fit better. The length is good but my feet slide forward with the straps as tight as they will get. After a little more break-in time I will probably need to punch an additional hole in the straps for a tighter fit. Zappos telephone tech support through all of this has been great and I would order from them again.

On the left shoe, the sole is separated from the cork on a section about an inch and a half long.

I don't think my feet can tolerate "breaking in" Birkenstocks. While this style supposedly has the Birko-Flor, they felt hard as a rock and much too stiff to wear for even an hour.

I read through a bunch of reviews to see how these compared to leather and felt like there were enough positive reviews to get these. Well, I should’ve gone with leather. I understand that there’s a break-in period, but we’re here a few weeks later and the sole has broken in but the man-made straps have not. These still tear up my feet if I wear them too long. I used to have a pair of leather Clark’s and they we’re the most comfortable pair of sandals I’ve ever owned. I should’ve known better. Guess I’m stuck with blisters and bandaids until I feel like I’ve gotten their worth out of them. :/

I am still trying to figure out if this shoe does anything for me. When I first put my feet into it, it felt hard as a rock and my ankles hurt from the impact of walking. It did not feel at all like my feet were shaping the sole as I assumed they would - the material is just too hard for that. I am not even sure that it's not some cheap Chinese knock off that is not cheap to buy at an expensive price and the strap is not even leather. After a month I still feel that I am not done testing it.

This is my second pair of Birks, but I did not realize that these were so much different than the more expensive pair. They still have the same footbed, which is the most important part, but they have much cheaper leather straps versus the other ones. They look and feel cheap too. I am disappointed and should have sprung for the better ones.

I can’t believe for the price of these that they are falling apart!!
