Flor-licious! As a long time Birkenstock wearer, I really want to support and purchase Birki-Flor products, as I try to live a more animal-free lifestyle. They're nice, retain their color well, and are very functional. Because of the "roughness" of material, you do develop almost a callous or rub line along the top of your foot where the sandal hits.

I have never worn a wide fit shoe of any brand, but apparently I need a wide Birk. I ordered Regular, and it is WAY too narrow for me to wear. Sadly these have to go back.

Still have to put the buckles almost at last notch and will stretch later

Didn’t feel good on my feet.

The fit overall was great , but since I have a bunion on my right foot , it rubbed there and also on my pinkie .I used to wear them all the time before bunion . Sorry I can’t wear them now .

They were just a little too long and a bit too wide

They were not as comfortable as my other birks. I returned.

How sad that those of us who are a true women's size 5 can no longer find shoes that fit. Even Birkenstock - size 35, is actually a women's size 6. And now their size 34 is a children's shoe - lighter weight, narrow, flimsy. Can the company no longer make a true size 5 for those of us with smaller feet?

Received 6 - 6.5 didn't fit like they used to so returned (Waiting on a Credit to Debit Card), Meanwhile ordered a 5 and it was perfect although my foot size is 6.

The 41 was better in length than the 40 but too wide in the 41, the box says narrow but I really wonder if the shoe that was sent is? Maybe just going up that one size makes them wider. Also, still not sold on the Birks, I have been wearing off/on in the house for 3 days and my knees hurt. Did some research and typically when this happens the shoe is not right for your feet or gait. Maybe sometime I will try the softer footbed. Until then, will continue my search for a comfortable, supportive, cute sandal.

I am a true size 8 and they are a true 8 1/2 consequently they are not as comfortable as expected.

Bottom too slippery.

These were way too big and wide for me. The sole also felt very stiff. Unfortunately, I am returning. I used to have a similar style and I loved those shoes. I wore them for years, fixed minor tears but by now I definitely need a new pair.

Got these cause I love the original footbed and these have great reviews, however my foot sits much deeper in these and they have a more pronounced lip around the foot that isn’t comfortable when my foot slides over it. The depth also creates a vacuum and makes crude sounds when you walk around unless socks are involved. Returning for the originals.

a little large

I ordered the 5.5 narrow which should have fit perfectly but it still seemed wide. The straps would have made it fit but my middle toe was too long for the shoe somehow.

The shoe was too wide for my 82 year old husband's foot. I have heard that we loose padding (fat?) in the soles of our feet as we age so the sole was a bit to hard for him as well. I will continue my search for the correct slip-on shoe for him.

These shoes were a replacement to some older ones I have had for quite a long time. They still fit the same as always...true to size and very supportive. The footbed breaks in easily so they’re very comfortable. My only complaint, and the reason I’m sending them back, is they now use bonded leather for the uppers. It’s a very thin leather that’s bonded to a synthetic material. I’ve opted to hang on to my old ones and have them re-soled. I’ve never been a fan of changes...when talking about classics. Too bad...I’m sad.

Length and width were true to size. My problem with the Birkenstock is the firm footbed and high arch. My feet flex flat when I walk and the arch in the Birkenstock is too hard and was very painful. I love the style and sadly had to return the shoes.

They fit much larger than my old pair which was the same size. Disappointed that I could not get a mans with three or four straps instead of two large ones. Not as comfortable as my old ones.

I thought I treat myself to this item though after receiving my order I felt I’d have to return it as it took awhile to break in and adjust to. It felt like a dull hard surface overall and started to hurt on one foot. However, At first the sole material on my feet felt hard as of now it is fine and I’ve decided to keep this item leaving this to be my last purchase of this particular brand.

I love the easy casual look however these shoes were painful on my high arches. They felt awkward and wide.

Was not satisfied with purchase sandals seemed used.

Always wanted a pair but had to return!I was so excited to receive..Minute I put them on I noticed my feet fit so strangely awkward. I follow the charts so I really don't think if I went up or down to size it would make a difference the sandal hits my arch in a weird way it's very uncomfortable and I couldn't even walk in them. I felt like I was walking on big rocks. I have always wanted a pair but these aren't for my feet. Sorry had to return.
