Great for boating -
I bought these for sailing, and bought 1/2 size up based on other reviews. The shoes fit perfectly and were comfortable the first time I put them on. I have long narrow feet and the adjustable width really works for me. Love the toe guard - open-toed shoes like Tevas always made me nervous on a boat. The only drawback for me is my unfortunately sweaty feet - with the rubber insole there is nowhere for the sweat to go!

Expensive but nice -
I love these sandals, but I'm not sure they are worth the $100+ they sell for. I expected more arch support given that this company seems to be all about an active outdoor lifestyle. I do like the rest of the construction, and I think they are well put together otherwise. They do feel a bit shorter than other shoes this size, but the width seems accurate.
Even despite the lack of real solid arch support, if these didn't cost so much I would buy another pair.

Couldn't find a good fit -
These may work for some, but not for me. I'm a true fitted size 8 medium width and like others, the 8's are way too short. I put my bare feet in and immediately felt a pushing pressure on my big toe. Not good! Then I tried the 8.5 and while there was enough toe room, the shoe felt a bit too roomy around the ankle and top of foot, even when I added socks and tightened the strap all the way. This might be good for street walking, but since I plan on doing some trail walking and rock scrambling with these at the beach I wasn't confident enough of their fit to purchase them. However, I did find a much better fit in the MEN'S Venice! The men's size 7 fit perfectly in the toe and gave me perfect fitting everywhere else too.

Very comfortable fit, but...
Overall, I really like these shoes. I bought them for an active beach vacation and they were good for that. The fit is perfect and they were very comfortable. I have only two small complaints. My feet got sweaty in them, which I didn't expect. Also, sand gets trapped in the toe but I guess that's a small price to pay for such good toe protection. Overall, a great shoe.

Great water shoe!
I purchased my Keens as a sport sandal for my honeymoon. I wasn't able to find the water shoes that I wanted for kayaking, but as it turned out, the Keens were perfect for the occasion and pretty much everything else I needed to do.

Favorite Keen -
I have 4 pair of Keens; this one is my favorite (so far). Very comfortable & they look great. Easy to clean -- just throw them in the washing machine.

Great, but stinky -
A very comfortable water, biking, walking, hiking etc. shoe! I love them for their function, however, they stink something fierce within just a few months. I wore them about 15 times, but when the humid summer months hit the odor hit too. I have used all sorts of cleaners and it hasn't solved the problem! It had also happened to my 8 year old daughter's Keens. (This hasn't been a problem in the past, EVER!) As far as the quality...if you were to stand on your toes, right where the shoe bends is where the shoe has separated from the sole. I don't know if this is a specific problem or a general problem with this shoe.

I like 'em -
I bought these for a trip to Seattle figuring I would be walking a lot and possibly doing "outdoorsy" activities. The first day I wore them, we walked ALL day and I must admit my feet were KILLING me at the end of the day. I still like the Keens though because I did put them on two days later (the next day I wore sneakers) and they felt much much better. I even wore them on a short hike and felt secure on a steep incline. Overall I am glad I bought them, I like how they look and they fit my feet well.

Seriously "crunchy”, but so comfy!
I'm loving these shoes and plan to wear them as long into the cold as I can though I won't be wearing them with any skirts. Not a delicate shoe, but makes up for it by being exceedingly comfortable and rugged.

Awesome except for one thing -
Pros: cute, versatile, able to go from summer shopping to scrambling over rocks at the falls, good support, not overly hot despite great foot protection. Except from problem mentioned below, these are extremely comfortable.
Cons: the only reason I can't wear these is the heel strap comes up too high and hits my ankle bone. Really wish it was cut a bit lower!! This is a common problem with me & I assume most people won't experience this. But if you've noticed it on other shoes, this might be the case with these.

Can't believe it!
I am quite excited that I finally found a sport sandal that FIT my wide feet. And they do not make them look huge, either. I am an EE width and these stretch great. Only complaint, if it’s very warm outside, your feet do get hot, but they are cute and almost girly with the flowers!

Wanted a shoe that could stand up to vacations filled with sun, surf, and lots of walking. I ordered this shoe in my usual size (10) as well as a 10.5. After trying both on and walking about, I decided to keep the 10.5; I needed it for the length of the footbed, didn't like my toes rubbing on the toe box. However, since my foot is average, this half size larger makes the shoe a bit wide. Most of the time this is reconciled by pulling the shoe tighter. It is easy on/off too and a mostly comfortable fit. I find that when out in puddles, due to being a bit wide on my foot I do get some chafing. Also, my toes tend to be absolutely filthy after wearing these. Since all the road stuff collects at the toe box and can't ventilate well. I prefer open-toed shoes for feeling cooler and my feet sweat a fair amount in these. Kind of causes an unusual odor with the bottom of these shoes. However, when I need toes covered due to cobblestone streets or curbs or whatever, these fit the bill. I find this shoe to be so unattractive that it comes back around to being "cute" I guess. When I wear them, it's not really fashion I'm after. I think they offer good support. I also tried the Newport style and found they were too constricting for me in the toe box. May or may not repurchase this style.

Weird fit!
I have a pair of the older Keen Newport style, so I thought these would be similar. Although the color choices are AMAZING, I find myself wiggling my foot around constantly in the shoe, trying to get just the right fit (something I certainly didn't experience with the Newport, which fit perfectly from the start). With less straps than the Newport, it just doesn't fall in the right place on the bones in my foot. So sad...back they have to go. I still highly recommend Keens, though, as they are good, durable, fashionable shoes that also offer support!

Keen Venice H2 -
These shoes took about a week to break in. Not enough of an arch for me and they make my feet smell. They are pretty comfortable though.

Very comfy!
I love these for the most part. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I have had arch pain since being on bed rest with twins a year ago, and so I have to wear orthotics in my shoes - but I haven't with these and have been fine! The only reason I gave these 4 instead of 5 starts is that in the hot weather, wearing them without socks (as I always do), I find that my feet get sweatier than average - I guess because of the synthetic. But I use a foot deodorizer and go comfortably on my way, because these shoes are worth it!

Quality -
Great all around athletic sandal with more support than most competitor brands. Nice design that would accommodate varying widths. Smaller fit in heel would be better, though, and traction in wet, off-pavement surfaces not excellent. But overall, good design, good quality.

A bit hot on an active summer's day. Beyond that, the comfort and support is great.

Very comfortable shoe - runs about 1/2 size smaller (I bought 1/2 size larger). Great shoe, quick shipping.

Ugly, in a cute way, and very, very comfortable!
I have to be honest, my husband and teenage kids think these are some of the ugliest shoes I've ever worn (and I used to be the Queen of Birkenstock). Others might choose Keens for outdoor sports, but I wear them when I'm planning on doing a lot of walking around on a hot day, say at an Art Fair or someplace like that. For fashion? No. For comfort? These are perfect. I got mine in lime green and I think they're awesome!

My feet were swimming in sweat. Too bad, these shoes were comfortable otherwise. Maybe for cooler weather.

Wish they were a little roomier.
I wish these were a little roomier and allowed for more adjustment. They are very comfortable alternatives to boots when hiking or walking. I love the color choices.

The Keen Venice H2 is the perfect shoe for light trails. It is immediately comfortable and easy to put on and take off. It runs small so order the next largest 1/2 size.

Sweaty feet -
Is it just me? I find that the foot bed is nice if you want these shoes for beach wear, water parks, etc. But, if you just want to wear a casual sandal for everyday purposes, this one makes your feet sweaty and smelly. The airy open sides are nice, but it's the footbed that doesn't work for me. I like the look, it's not feminine but it's cute/sporty so I think it's still good. If you get these shoes don't size up, go with your normal size.

Almost Perfect -
I purchased these shoes in anticipation of a summer of camping, swimming and hiking. The first time I wore them, I took a 2 mile walk with my dog and they fit and wore perfectly. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, they started to irritate the top of my foot. I don't ordinarily have sensitive skin, but for some reason that part of the shoe that runs down the length of the top of the foot caused some pretty irritating skin rash. I was so disappointed, as these shoes are so comfortable and durable for my summertime lifestyle. I will continue to wear these but have to wear socks with them (dorky, I know).
