I got these shoes super quick, thank you Zappos! Problem, they run small I think. I normally wear 10 or 10.5, these were a 10.5 and too short. Have to return them.

My first pair of Venice H2 lasted 6 years. They were purchased 7 years ago and are perfect for the hot humid hiking and stream crossing that I do in my home state of Hawaii where a hot, heavy hiking boot will not do. I liked my first pair so much I decided to purchase another which I did at a local store in the same size as the old. When I got home and tried them on again I realized it was not the same fit that I had with my older ones which I still use for bike riding. I got them out and sure enough the new ones in the same size as the old, were shorter. I was unable to get the next half size up at my store so I ordered them and for the same price had them in the mail in short order. The new ones being a half size larger are great and exactly the same length as the older ones but are slightly wider which is fine and can be adjusted by using the pull cord. Also I still have the old box with the size clearly marked so something has changed in the manufacturing over the 7 years. If in doubt, order the larger size.

Very comfortable for outdoor hiking although there is little arch support and my feet tend to sweat a little when I wear them.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair, and I can wear them all day and my feet don't get tired. The only reason I marked them down was on style, because you have to like the look of Keen sandals-they are a bit "chunky" on your feet. They are perfect for an active lifestyle.

As soon as I put my foot in the shoe, I knew I'd made the right choice. They feel like slippers. I haven't gone in the water with them yet, but can't wait.

This is a very nice shoe. Keens are super comfy. However, this shoe definitely runs short, so order at least half a size up. I wear a size 9 to 9.5, but the 9.5 was too short -- my toe was hitting the end of the shoe even when I was just standing still. It also runs a bit wide, but with the adjustable cord, that is not a problem. I ended up buying the Keen Whisper since that shoe is overall a slimmer fit - average width and length, and not as bulky looking as other Keen sandals.

Very comfortable shoe. It felt a whole size smaller than what I wear in dress shoes. Also, the color is more hot pink than red. It is significantly lighter than the Newport H2, but I ended up returning it because the Newport has better arch support. I can also see that your foot may get sweaty on the rubber bottom.

If you have narrow feet, these may not fit you well. I didn't feel enough arch support. They seem excellent shoes and I'm sorry to return them. On the other hand, if your feet are a bit wide, these are probably excellent!

Excellent shoes for my trip to the Galapagos--they run a 1/2 size small (I normally wear 7 1/2 and had to get an 8). Good grip, especially on lava and wet terrain. One drawback--easy to get sand in, but not out.
I'd also recommend:
Tevas--also worked exceptionally well on hard terrain.

I thought these would be the answer for my upcoming trip, but I have to return them for another style. My second toe kept peeking through, making them uncomfortable for me. I love the style and will keep trying to find a pair that keeps my toes in!

I've worn 2 previous Venice H2 shoes and loved them. They worked for 2 European tours with much walking and even more walking around my home. In fact, the last pair broke a lace while in Europe and had to be thrown away; hence, the need for a new pair. However, they must have changed it somehow: the left shoe was too narrow for the middle of my foot. I'm returning them.

I bought these for kayaking generally and wore them on a trip to the Everglades. They don't dry very quickly, but they're still comfortable, even when they're wet. They were comfortable and held up well in the Everglades, except on a bog walk when they got sucked into the mud. So I would rate these very well for everything except walking in deep mud.

I pronate and this shoe's wide side opening does't support someone with this issue. Had to return the shoe.

I ordered this shoe in the men's and women's styles because I wondered if the men's footbed would be slightly larger. Turns out the footbed is the same, but the upper is slightly different. Although I loved the green of the women's version, the "strappy" part of the upper hit my arch right at a sensitive spot. I gave up the cuteness of the women's colors for the comfort of the men's cut, and am glad I did! I wore the men's version for a long trip with tons of city walking, and didn't have a single raw spot or blister. I wish they made the men's version in more colors, or made the women's version with the same upper as the men's. If these don't fit quite right, I highly recommend checking them out in the men's version. A touch more coverage, but not any more clunky than the women's version looks on my foot. And the straps are better placed to avoid rubbing and blisters.

I love this shoe. The color is great, the comfort is terrific. The only thing wrong is if you walk in dirt a lot, it gets into the shoe easily and I have to take the shoe off to get the dirt and rocks out. It is a good sidewalk shoe. I have worn orthotics for years and I don't need them in this shoe.

Looks and feels good for the most part. The great toe was hitting the top of the shoe. Will be sending back.

I like the styling of this shoe but the this sandals arch falls short. I am a professional dog walker and I need a sandal that covers my toes. I dont want a dog with long nails to step on me. I chose this one because it got good reviews and I liked the style and colors. It fits true to size, and I do like the colors used but my feet were so sore at the end of the day. Yes, I wore it right out of the box without a blister issue just very sore arches.

Overall I am very happy with these shoes! I was looking for a sporty sandal that had tread, for light hiking, and could also withstand getting wet. They are bulkier-looking than some hiking sandals out there but I am happy with their comfort in general. One small part rubs against the inside of my foot but I hope it breaks in soon. I am using this during summer, and my feet can get really sweaty, so the ventilation of the straps seems to do the trick. I have a pair of Keen leather boots and was super happy with them so decided to try out this sandal. This was a good purchase and I am very satisfied.

Get many compliments when I wear these shoes and they do protect my toes from my 20 month grandson standing on my toes. However, I ordered two pair of these shoes, both 9.5. One pair seemed too large and the other definitely smaller in length than the returned pair. I kept the smaller pair and may be suffering some unidentifiable discomfort when I wear the shoes for any length of time on the day after I wear them. Perhaps the shoes are narrower than they appear. Sorry I can't give them a more rave review because they definitely protect the toes and look very good on.

I agree with the suggestion to go one half size larger. I wore these constantly at the beach last week. Still has a slight rubbing point near my arch.

I never wear them without getting a compliment. They are harder to get on over my heel than my other pair of leather Keens, because the material is soft. So I use a shoehorn.

One of my favorite Keens. I've owned a dark blue pair for several years and still wear them, but they're getting old. When I saw the red at a local store I tried them on and bought them right away. Though Keen's don't seem to have the arch support that they used to (I have extremely high arches), this shoe is still comfortable. I wear this style for hiking, biking, and other outdoor actives. And the red is fun!

I take my normal Keen's size in this shoe -- 1/2 size larger than normal sizing. The Raya Purple color is a cute shoe, but is not purple and not nearly as contrasty as the picture shows. Imagine the pictured shoe put in a wash with a little bleach to soften the colors. The "purple" is at best a periwinkle (violet-blue), and much more muted. The base color is an excellent color to go with the indigo dyes of blue jeans, so it may be more useful to you than a pair of real purple shoes would be.

I received my Venice H2s in Raya Blue. I think they are super cool-looking once you get used to the Keen style. I got hooked on Keen when I was looking for some durable, waterproof sandals that my sons and I could wear most of the year (we live in southern CA). I am a perfect 8 1/2 and ordered that size. I ended up having a 9 sent as well because my toes touch the end of the toebox in the smaller size. They don't rub or hurt at all, just touch. The 9 was much too wide and the shoes felt sloppy on my feet, though the length of the toebox was perfect. I cinched them up tight but they look silly and wrinkled this way; they are simply too wide. I am going to send back the 9s and keep the 8 1/2 because as long as my toes don't chafe I think they are the better fit. Not sure why a half size would make such a difference in width. Once I get used to these sandals I am sure I will be in love with them. The sandal is extremely comfortable and supportive, and again, I love the style. I got my two little boys the Newport H2s in Raya Persimmon so we can run around together conquering all sorts of terrain and Disneyland in these very durable and comfortable shoes.
